Alex

Harry stopped the car in front of Mary's place where I could hear music playing in her back yard. There were a few cars in front so I felt nervous. "I can stay out here for a while and if you need me I'll be here." I shook my head.

"No it's okay you go to work, I'll be okay on my own." He nodded looking past me. I turned to see Mary come out and wave at me. She had a small smile as she waited for me at the door. "I have to go." He got out of the car and opened my door, handing me my bag and towel. He stood tall next to me and looked down.

"I love you." I blushed knowing that Mary was looking over as he leaned down, placing his hands on my face to kiss me gently.

"I love you," I said back as I walked inside. I made it to the front door where she put her arms out for a hug and brought me inside.

This was all so strange but I decided that the worse thing that could happen was being made fun of and I could leave. But surprisingly enough all the girls were nice.

I recognized all of them immediately and they all waved and offered me food. They played volleyball in the water and within two hours we all sat on the beach chairs getting a tan. "So what's the deal with David?" One of the girls, Ashley, spoke up.

"He's a dick." Mary and I said at the exact same time making the group laugh. I sat down and shook my head. "He's crazy."

"He's such a loser, honestly I don't know how girls just throw themselves at him." One of the other girls said. I could feel Mary tense up beside me.

"I saw what he did to you by the way." they all turned to me and I felt embarrassed. "Mary and I felt really bad because you honestly are really nice," Ashley said.

Ashley had only moved here a few years ago so she had no idea that Mary and I used to be friends. "Thanks, I just got picked on a lot by David and his idiot friends that I just prefer not to be friends with anyone."

Mary looked down quickly taking our cups telling me to come inside with her. I followed her and she stopped me in front of her very familiar kitchen that hadn't changed at all in five or six years. "I'm sorry for ditching you-"

"Mary-"

"I am, okay, I fucked up but you saw how those juniors and seniors were freshman year. You were so shy and I should have defended you and I didn't."

"Why are you doing this now? You had four years to apologize so why now?" She looked down and sighed.

"Alex something happened during the summer with David and I tried to remember the last time I had a friend I could trust and I thought of you." She looked out to see all the girls turning to tan their backs before she looked at me. "They're my friends but you were like- well like the sister I never had and I fucked it up, for what? To fit in with seniors that left and never talked to me again?"

I leaned against her counter and thought about what she said. "What happened to David?"

"I can't talk about it yet, not in front of people or whatever. Because I don't know what happened- I just- something bad happened." I had a bad feeling in my stomach as she filled our cups and we walked back out.

All the girls were talking and one of them looked at me and they giggled. I felt nervous again until she spoke up. "So you and Harry are together right, like officially." I blushed nodding. "He seems really sweet."

"Oh he is, he's the best." I smiled big. They all awed but Ashley spoke again.

"Have you guys like had sex?" I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want them knowing things about Harry and me and our relationship.

"Oh my god, Ashley! Personal!" One of the girls slapped her arms.

"What I'll go first, I've had sex with Jeremiah and Luke." My eyes widened. "Neither times were any good." They all laughed. "Luke sweats and spits when he talks."

They all went around sharing their stories and we laughed. Two of the girls were virgins and I decided to at least share something. "Well I mean he's very generous." Mary raised an eyebrow.

"Wait he's like eaten you out?" I nodded slowly. "What's it like-"

"You are so lucky, my boyfriend won't do it." another said.

"Is he good at it." I giggled making them all sigh in jealousy. "Lucky bitch."

When it was time to leave, Harry picked me up after his short four-hour shift and was driving me home as I explained everything Mary had told me. "I wonder what it is?" Harry yawned and shrugged. "Tired, baby?" I cooed playing with the curls on the nape of his neck.

"Can I tell you something?" I nodded. "It's sexual." I raised an eyebrow.

"Go ahead."

"I kinda want a blow job." My eyes widened because Harry was always about putting me first or doing as I said. So for him to actually tell me what he wants was a big step in his shyness.

"Here or inside?" He made it to his place as I spoke and pulled over in his spot.

"No one's home." I nodded leaning over to kiss him. "You're okay with it right?" I nodded. "I'm sorry I just need to feel you and I know you told me you usually get your period around this time-"

"Wait you remember me telling you that?" He nodded reaching behind him to grab a box of chocolates.

"See, your faves."

"Baby! I'm gonna cry!" He laughed as I hugged him.

"That's probably the PMS." I rolled my eyes before looking down at the chocolates.

"Alex?" I looked up at him frowning a bit.

"You want to talk?" He nodded. "What's going on?"

"Do you think that during Thanksgiving break your parents would let you come with me and my family on a trip?" I shrugged. "Do you think your dad would let me talk to him about it?"

"I think if you go and talk to him he might let me go."

"I just want you to meet all my siblings, you'll really like them." I nodded. "I'm just nervous about my dad because we have a good relationship but he's always been sort of- well he's a bit much with me because you know- cancer." I understood immediately, Harry must have not noticed, but his mom was the same way.

If Harry coughed, his mom would make him tea and check his temperature. I couldn't imagine having a child with such an illness, constantly worried about everything.

After Harry and I finished our sexual activities he drove me home and walked me to the front door. He stood there and pouted because it was already late and he had to go home. "You're so beautiful." He gently ran his thumb under my lip.

"You are too much, I have to go inside." He suddenly let his weight go on me and laughed.

"Oh no gravity is increasing on me, carry me, Alex."

The front door opened and my mom stood there with a smile plastered on her face. "Oh Harry, just the boyfriend of my daughter I wanted to talk to." I gulped as Harry stood straight up and followed behind with my mom who told us to follow her.

"Why did she make it sound like you have a lot of boyfriends." I rolled my eyes.

My parents sat in the kitchen, my dad with his arms crossed. "I'm not doing this-" he began fighting quietly to my mom.

"Honey we have to, okay it's a way to keep an open line of communication between parents and kids." He scoffed.

"I refuse." She gave him a look before whispering something that I couldn't quite hear. He grumbled before turning to Harry and me and pointing to the chairs in front of them. "I know about you and Harry." He said quietly.

"I'm gonna cry," I said in a low voice.

"I know you two are doing....adult things and I want you to know that although I hate it I respect you two as adults." It almost sounded like he had a gun to his back. "So here are a-" he pulled out a box and threw them across the table. "Box of condoms."

Harry was shaking and as I turned to him I noticed he was getting a bloody nose. "Oh my god! You guys are making him nervous!" Harry touched his nose and cursed. He had nose bleeds when he gets really scared.

"Oh Harry, there's nothing to be concerned about, just need you kids to be safe." He nodded grabbing the blood off the top of his lip and around his nose.

"Y-y-yes." My dad stood up and patted his back before leaving with my mom. I turned to Harry and he seemed completely embarrassed.

"I am so sorry." He shook his head telling me it was fine. I kissed his cheek and he smiled gently before picking up the box and looking at them.

"T-t-too small," he whispered making me laugh against his arm as I hugged him
