Once Niall took Louis to work he decided to stay for a little while and Louis gave him some free drinks

"It's cool in here. It's quite new isn't it?" Niall smiled, leaning on the bar top to speak to Louis

"Yeah, it opened a few months ago and I got a job here straight away. I like it here" Louis nodded

"Yeah, do you think I could get one?" Niall grinned

"I'll ask if you want" Louis laughed

"I'll have it as a side job. Not that I need the money, Harry pays well" Niall told him

"I'm sure he does" Louis had the urge to roll his eyes at Harris wealth. Louis had always thought of his family as well off, but Harry was another level

"He's a good guy" Niall told him

"I know" Louis smiled as he handed the drink he's just made to another customer taking the money and pocketing the tip

"He thinks he's going to win the bet" Niall spoke quickly

Louis just sighed and nodded

"What's wrong?" Niall asked, sensing his uneasy state

"I just... I think that he could win... and I don't want him to" Louis admitted

"Louis, don't take offense but your awful at this" Niall laughed making Louis laugh too

Louis smiled at him appreciatively, "Yeah, well I guess your right, but there's a chance now. I feel like I'm getting worse at being me"

Niall laughed "Worse at being you?"

"You know what I mean!" Louis pouted

"What do you expect? Harry's quite scary. If I were you I'd be scared fuckless and do whatever he said" Niall shrugged his shoulders

"That's what I feel like I'm doing" Louis told him, his voice taking on a tone of confession

"Sure you're listening to him, but your still doing bad things as well. I don't think you'll loose, so don't worry about it" Niall comforted

"Well...thanks" Louis sighed

"Can I have a martini?" Someone shouted out and Louis rushed to it, quickly serving the drink and placing the cash in the till

"Cheers mate"

Louis turned back to Niall

"Have you thought about what you want from him yet?" Niall asked

"Nope"

"Money? Diamonds? A ca-" Niall was cut off

"No. Nothing like that, I don't really even need anything" Louis frowned "I guess I just took the bet for the thrill. I didn't even think it through, there was nothing in it for me. I kind of just wanted to prove him wrong"

"Oh" Niall looked confused

"Hey Lou" Zayn came over, wrapping his arms around the smaller boy from behind

"Zayn!" Louis grinned, tipping his head back onto Zayns shoulder to look at him

"Who's this?" Zayn asked, turing to Niall who looked confused

"Niall, Harry's friend" Louis told him

"Hi, I'm Zayn and I'm Louis friend" Zayn took one hand off of Louis to reach out for Niall to shake

"I thought you were his boyfriend or something. I was really confused" Niall laughed shaking his hand firmly before letting go

"No, he's just my fuck buddy. No strings attached" Louis said, looking dead serious

There was a few seconds of silence before Zayn an Louis burst out laughing, Niall looked scared and confused, but his face softened once the laughter started

"Nah, I'm straight. We're just close I guess" Zayn shrugged, pulling away from Louis and standing by his side

He ruffled his hair lightly before talking to Niall about something Louis couldn't be bothered to listen to

Niall and Zayn got on very well, and leaped into a conversation almost instantly. They just kind of clicked

Louis sort of zoned out and leaned against the counter, watching all of the lights and getting mesmorised by the music playing on the stereo

"Lou? Lou are you okay?" Zayn waved a hand in front of Louis' face after about ten minutes of him staring at the speaker

"Hmm? Oh yeah I'm fine" Louis almost jumped in shock

"Well the bar closes in ten" Zayn nudged him "So I'm going to clear out my area"

"Okay, come back before you go" Louis sat up properly on his stool

"I will" Zayn promised, pinching his hip before going

"Shit! I wasn't meant to stay here so long! Harry said watch you for a little while then come back! Fuck!" Niall stood up quickly

"Wait wait wait what? Harry told you to watch me?" Louis shouted, only a few people turned to him because the music engulfed his voice

"Did I say that?" Niall looked panicked "What I meant was like... Check on... As in make sure you're okay"

"What the fuck? He told you to watch me! Why doesn't he trust me? I'm trust worthy!" Louis stood up as well

"It's not my fault Lou... I'm sorry, I mean I wouldn't have told him about anything unless it was bad" Niall looked down sadly

"I know its not your fault. It's his! I wouldn't have done anything anyway, that's like cheating...sort of" Louis slumped back down

"He wasn't meaning it in a bad way, just in case anything got out of hand" Niall defended

"Don't make him seem so innocent. He's a fucking twat!" Louis ranted "And I can't even tell him this because he'll give me a fucking punishment. Well fuck him!" Louis slammed his fist on the counter

"Hey, calm down" Niall placed his hand on the smaller boys shoulder

"I just can't believe he doesn't trust me"

"Lou, it's not like that. Just calm down and don't say anything to Harry" Niall patted his shoulder lightly

"I am going to tell him! And he's going to apologize" Louis frowned

"Louis please don't start with him, you'll just make it worse for yourself" Niall tried to persuade him

"I need him to trust me" Louis face turned from angry to sad "Sure I flirt a little bit, but I wouldn't do anything during this six weeks. I wouldn't, that's not right"

"Okay, but just don't make him angry at you" Niall bit his lip, sadly

"I won't" Louis looked down

But he didn't know whether that was true
