CRASH
Cathy sighed as Maria started crying and she went to see if she could calm her. "I know you want your Mama, hunny. But she doesn't want to wake up," she sighed sympathetically and went downstairs, turning on the TV and smiling as Maria fell asleep on her chest.
Anne came downstairs and was the last person to wake up. "Anne," she mumbled, looking from where she was sat with Maria in her bouncer. "Heya, babe. You okay?" Anne smiled and pressed a kiss to Cathy's lips as she turned away. "No, I'm not. Actually. Not like you care," she snapped as Anne moved back. "Oh, I'm sorry. What's up?"
"Anne, you can't just apologise and ask what's up, that's all you ever do, you don't actually care!"
Anne nodded and stood up. "We need a break from each other, I'll be back whenever you're ready," she sighed and drive to her parents house, smiling as her younger sister Perrie enveloped her in a tight hug.
"I miss you," she giggled as Anne picked her up. Perrie was only four and didn't see much of her older step-sister, but she loved her nonetheless. "Papa tells me stories about you, and Mama tells me that she loves you so so much," she giggled and kissed her cheek.
Anne stayed there for a week before Cathy got her to come home, decidí to forgive her. And also since Maria had been extremely sick and needed to go to hospital for some tests. "You sure you're okay to bring her?" Cathy asked as she strapped María into her seat. "When you get home, we can have some cuddles and get you some warm milky and watch some peppa, yeah?" She giggled and nodded, clapping excitedly as Cathy kissed her temple. "Mummy loves you. Have fun with Mama," she smiled and then let Anne drive off.
She quickly took out her phone and text Anne.
Text: I'm sorry, I couldn't do this with Maria there. I'm breaking up with you. We're over. I'm not happy in this relationship. See you when you get home and I hope Maria is okayX
Cathy then went downstairs and smiled as she saw Kat. "Hey, Hun," she giggled. "Come here," Kat whispered and Cathy did so. Then Kat pressed a kiss to Cathy's lips. "I love you so much, Catherine Parr," "I love you so much too, Kitty Howard-Seymour,"
"Please no Seymour," she shook her head. "Me and Jane had an argument and she hates me,"
"Come and talk to me about it," Cathy smiled sympathetically and lead Kat to her room.
Anne froze when she read the message and the lights went green. She slowly started driving forward and then swerved as she saw the picture of Kitty and Cathy pop up in her Instagram, colliding into a tree. The last thing she remembered was her baby girl's screams.
Anne woke up to the sounds of bleeping and machines and wires surrounding her. "Maria? Maria! Where's my baby girl? Please! I need her!" She begged with the nurse, not realising Cathy was there. "She's gone," Cathy snapped coldly. "And it's all your fault! You just wanted attention! As always! That's all that matters to you! Maybe it's good she's gone, she's not in pain, but she's also not got you as her mother," she scoffed and held kitty close, tears rolling down her cheeks. She swiftly stood up and slapped Anne across the cheek before abruptly leaving.
Anne cried herself in and out of sleep, blaming herself for everything. It was over. It was all over. And it was her fault. "I know, Pez, I know," she smiled weakly as her little sister climbed onto the bed and lay besides her, hugging her. "Maybe this was the right thing, if I can just find a way to end whatever is going on between Jane and Cath, I cna finally get with her," she thought. "I'm coming Cath, baby. I promise. As soon as I can move again," she added silently, sighing at her motionless legs that felt like dead-weights. "Anyone, I'm coming home again, baby girl," "yay! Then papa and mama and you," Perrie giggled and nuzzled into Anne before they both drifted off to sleep
