We reached the top and went to look round. There were parts of steps all around. We joined Susan and Lucy.

"I wonder who lived here" Lu thought out loud. Susan hit something and picked it up it was a gold chess piece

"I think we did" she replied

"Hey I know that piece" Lessa chirped "It's one of Daddy's" just then Edmund and Peter joined us

"Hey that's mine, from my chess set"

"Told you" she looked up and me and i tapped her shoulder.

"Which chess set?"

"Well I didn't exactly have a solid gold chess set in Finchley did i?" he took the piece from Susan.

"Can't be" Lucy muttered before running of we followed her to a open space they ran up and so did we. Lucy started moving Peter.

"Imagine walls" she moved Susan. "and Pillars there" she went and stood next to her

"And a glass roof" we turned around and it was as if it was rebuilding is self.

"Cair Paravel" Peter stated

"What happened. Its ruined" Alessandra wondered I could hear the sadness in her voice.

"I wonder" it was my turn to leave and this time to what used to be the back corner. I saw the hidden slat which lead down to the treasure chamber i tried to move it but it wouldn't budge.

"Catapults" I stopped and looked at Ed

"What?" I asked

"This didn't just happen. Cair Paravel was attacked" He informed us.

"A little help over here" the boys came over and help me push back the slab.

"Susan can I have one of your bobby pins. Edmund your pocket knife" Susan handed me her pin and Edmund his knife.

"What are you doing?" Lucy questioned as I put them both in the lock and jiggled it about a bit force it turned and unlocked I grinned.

"Where did you learn to do that?" Edmund asked amazed

"How did you think I opened Mrs Macready's locked cupboard of secret treats" i opened the door. Peter took the knife and cut some of his shirt. what was he doing Ed had a torch in his bag.

"Don't suppose you have any matches?" Peter asked and Ed opened his bag. I gave the pin back to Susan

"No but will this help" he took out his torch.

"You might have mention that a bit sooner" he joked and we laughed. Edmund lead the we followed my me, Alessandra, Susan, Lucy and Peter. Peter opened the gates to five treasure chests. Alessandra ran over to mine and I followed. lifting the lid up I saw my sword, Bow and Arrows along with my dagger.

"I was so tall" Lucy commented pulling out one of her old dresses.

"Well you were older then" Susan replied

"As supposed to hundreds of years later when you're younger." i smiled. My trunk was filled mostly with different styled tunics, jacket and pants. i had the odd royal dress but seen as i was moving around and fighting I got used to not being in dresses except on formal visits.

"What is it?" Lucy asked

"My horn, I must have left it on my saddle the day we went back" We watched Peter open his trunk and take out his sword.

"When Aslan bares his teeth winter meets it death" Peter read

"And when he shakes his mane we'll have spring again. Everyone we knew Mr Tumnus and the Beaver's they're all gone." Lucy's broken tone brought the harsh reality of being here. From what I had seen it was more than obvious that we had been gone more than a year, but I had yet to determine just how long.

"I think its time we found out what's going on." Lucy nodded and we picked out clothes

"Lu can Alessandra have one of your old dresses she doesn't have a chest?" i asked seeing my daughter wait patiently.

"Sure come here Lessa" she ran over to her Aunt the boys left I changed out of my St Finbar's uniform and into a blue tunic with brown pants, purple short sleeved jacket. (like Caspian from the Dawn treader) and dark blue boots. I wrapped my dagger and sword round my waist the my quiver of bows on my back withmy bow.

"You have lots of weapons mummy" Lessa stated after we came out of the chamber

"That's because I'm skilled at a lot of things."

"Will you train me one day"

"Yes sweetheart" we replaced the slab in front of the door and left. Trekking across the beach Alessandra asked for a piggy back so she jumped on Edmunds back. Susan was in front when she shot a arrow i joined her and we both had one aimed at two soldiers who were handling a dwarf.

"Drop him" Susan ordered the threw him in the river, I shot one Susan shot the other. Edmund dropped Lessa and he and Peter ran off. Peter dropped his sword and Susan picked it up going to saw the dwarf. Edmund got the boat and brought it in to anchor. When Peter came back up he dragged the bound and gagged dwarf up to shore. Lucy cut his bounds with her dagger and he took off his gag coughing up water.
