Jane put a comforting arm around her cousin "it's okay Annie. Calm down she's not gonna hurt you, deep breaths" Anne rested her head on her shoulder and did as she was told.
"Now I want you to be honest with me. I'm not gonna yell I promise but did u hurt Mary?" Anne shook her head as soon as the words escaped her lips. "N-no never.. I'd never she's a child. She ruined Mae's cake and all her presents then she pushed her over and started slapping her. I didn't know what to do so I held her against the wall so cathy could take Mae n make sure she was okay" Anne rambled as Cathy appeared at the doorway with Mae on her hip, she nodded in agreement. "I don't feel safe Jane, Mae's not Safe and as a mother I can't let that happen" Anne kissed her step daughters head "We're moving out." Cathy said and Anne flashed her a confused look. Jane saw this and took Mae and walked out with her

"We're W-what?" Anne stuttered out
"Like u said,  Mae's not Safe, we'd be failing her she's only two Annie" she looked at her desperately to which Anne sighed and thought about Lizzie "but what if Lizzie refuses to come?" Cathy laughed nervously. "Babe of course she'll come, she loves you. She'd do anything to stay with her mum but that really wasn't the case, she'd been sucking up to Mary.
"Go speak to her" she added and Anne nodded and trudged off to find her.

Lizzie was sat with her head buried in a Catholic book. "Hey Lizzie baby?" She asked her fifteen year old daughter who answered her with a grunt. "We're moving out, Mary's crazy! She hurt Mae" Lizzie was ultimately offended as someone insulted her idol "HOW DARE YOU?! HOW VERY DARE YOU?! IM NOT MOVING AWAY WITH YOU, YOU WITCH. HOW DARE YOU INSULT THR GREAT ONE?! GO AWAY AND NEVER SPEAK TO ME AGAIN" she shoved her mum out her room and Anne sighed

1 month later
Cathy Woke up to the gentle sound of her wife snoring in their new flat.
She kissed her forehead and her eyes fluttered open "Morning  baby" Cathy said and Anne smiled ignoring the Lizzie shaped hole in her heart; Anne missed her daughter more than anything. Cathy wrapped her arms around her and Cuddled her they soon fell back asleep.

"MWUMMY!!"Mae screamed from her crib. Both of them groaned and fetched her "Good morning my favourite two year old" they kissed her head and walked into the kitchen.
