Control (Logan + Janus)

TW
Unsympathetic Janus
Robotic Logan

————————
SUMMARY (spoilers (duh))

Logan has a code that can allow the other sides to control him. It's kept tucked away deep within the mind, however, nothing gets in the way of what Janus wants to happen.

Logan was never the type to help others for no reason. Typically it would cost his time for their gain, and it wasn't worth it to him. There were much better things he could be doing. Like reading, as he was now.

His room was small enough to allow him to keep everything he had close by. He only kept necessities and a few spare books that looked interesting, only to sell them and buy new ones once finished.

One thing he absolutely never had was company.

Despite having five roommates, it shocked him when he heard someone knocking. This was new. His eyes snapped over to the doorknob, noticing that it wasn't turning. They were waiting for permission.

"Come in," he speaks while slipping a bookmark into his story and setting it down on his desk.

A tall, slender figure entered the room, and he immediately tensed. There was one man here that he knew was the most dangerous to him. One man that could read his thoughts and would call him out on everything he learned.

Janus.

"So good to see you again, Logan. It's such a pity you never leave your room," he speaks. Logan could almost taste the honey in his voice, though he knew it was poisoned.

"I have to study. In case of an emergency or unforeseen situation, I need to be prepared."

"Oh, of course. Though I do think you could spare a few moments to help me with something... special."

Logan watched from his desk chair and Janus stepped further into the room. He used his foot to shut the door, and the room seemed to shrink. He knew something was about to happen, but he didn't know what that was. He never did.

"You see, there's something I need to be done, and I can't do it myself," Janus continued as he stepped further into the room. He looked around, as if his gaze was claiming the space as his. Logan did his best not to relax.

"I'm busy, Janus. You should ask Patton," he turned him down. He started to look back to his book when a hand grabbed his chin, forcing him to look back at Janus. In his shock, he didn't fight it.

"I've already told you, you'll help me," he whispered in a low voice.

"And why would I do that?" Logan replied, now losing patience. He started to pull away again.

"Four seven three-"

No.

"Six two-"

How could Janus know that?

"Five-"

Logan started to pull away and lifted his hands to push him away, but it was too late.

"One."

Logan's mind became clouded and his hands sank back into his lap. Janus chuckled as he felt Logan's chin rest on his hand.

"That's all I needed you to do. See? It was simple."

His voice was still that same honey. No, no, Janus had done something bad. This was bad. Why was it bad?

Logan began to lift his chin, only to fall back, his eyes growing heavy this time too.

Why couldn't he remember what had happened? Who was in danger? Why was Janus here?

"Don't worry, love. You're safe now. I'm going to ask you to do some things for me, okay?" Janus whispered as to soothe him.

Logan looked up at him with weak anger. Control. He'd found the code and used it.

And just like that, he fell back again, only this time, Janus' hand was gone. His head lulled to the side as his mind went completely empty.

Janus watched as the boy opened his eyes again, only now, they looked like how Logan had always wanted them too. Void of emotion. No feeling left but logic and obedience. A perfect little puppet for his play.

Janus smiled, and Logan did the same.
