Life is so unpredictable, right ? Just a few days ago, she was so happy. She had everything – a family, a home sweet home, and a loving husband who loved her so much. But now, She had nothing. Just now, her husband got married to someone else. The family she loved so much, gave them so much of love, They just used her for their own benefits. Her husband whom She loved more than her life, betrayed her. He chose his family over her, again.

It's not the first time that he did this to her. But what broke her was that he gave her place to someone else. He gave the sindoor of his name to someone else, he gave the nuptial chain of his name to someone else. She trusted him, but he betrayed her. Although, SHE HERSELF WANTED TO GO AWAY FROM HIM, BUT SHE COULDN'T DIGEST THE FACT THAT HE BETRAYED HER. Now, she got a reason to stay away from Shivaay and the family.

A week passed by. Anika was living with her best friend Chanda in pune. Sahil had no clue about what happened with his Anika didi until she came to meet him in his school. Usually she would come and hug him. But today, she talked to him very rudely. Infact she didn't talk much. He didn't know what exactly happened but the only thing he estimated from her behaviour was, SHE WASN'T FINE. She was behaving complete opposite to what his Anika didi is.

Shivaay's condition wasn't any different. He was trying to find Anika from past one week but it was like, she has disappeared. He thought, He would make everything fine by hiding the matter from Anika. What a fool he was. He couldn't make anything right, but things got even more messed up. The biggest and the worst consequences he was facing right now was Anika's disappearance from his life. He used to act infront of her that he's so cool. He never tried to tell her how much he loves her. But he couldn't realise that his love was the only thing she ever asked for. She never wanted money and luxuries but his love. He just wanted to get one chance so that he can express that love to her, BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE. BEFORE HE LOOSES HER, FOREVER.

Family was already tensed as they couldn't find Anika and Pooja was adding more to their problems. She was trying to come close to Shivaay and to the family. They told her many times that the marriage was fake and that, Anika was, is and will be the daughter in law of the house and Shivaay's wife, But her stubborn mind wasn't ready to listen.

Finally, shivaay was successful in exposing Roop bua and Pooja after a week. Now, he was trying to find Veer as he also helped his mother to manipulate Oberois and tried to harm his Anika when they were in Goa. He got to know about his obsession for Anika when he searched his house. The only fear he had in his heart was that ANIKA SHOULD BE SAFE AS VEER WILL DEFINITELY TRY TO HARM HER.

In the Afternoon, He got to know about veer's current residence. He, along with Om, Rudra and the police went to his resisdence and arrested him. But they failed to notice veer's smirking face.

In the evening they got to know that there is a problem and they had to come to the police station as it was urgent. When they reached the police station, they got the biggest shock of their life. Shivaay was feeling like he got his life back. Seeing his Anika after two weeks was the most soothing sight for him. But her next action Shocked him and OmRu.

Anika (to the inspector ) : Here are the bail papers for Mr. Veer. Now please release him.

Shivaay : Anika... whe..where were you ? Do you even know how much I missed you, how much I tried to find you ? A..and wh..why are you trying to free this filthy man ? He is the one who tried to prove you mad while we were in Goa, and here you are trying to save...

Anika : I'm just trying to save my HUSBAND, Mr. Oberoi. And Whatever happened in Goa is now my and my Husband's personal matter. So don't interfere.

Shivaay : What the hell are you saying, Anika? I..I'm your Hu..sband Anika, How can you...

Anika : No. You're not my husband. Our relationship finished when you married someone else to save your family's deeds. You didn't even once think about me and gave my place to that unknown girl. What do you think ? That i
I will beg infront you ? No, Mr. Oberoi. I have moved on. Now please don't interfere in my life.

Om : Bhabhi, What are you saying ? There is nothing like you think. That marriage was...

Anika : I know. There's nothing like I used to think. I thought this man (to shivaay) could give me a place where I'm equal to him as his family. I thought he would trust me, love me and treat me like his family. But I was never his family. So now please stop with your drama and let me and my husband go.

After checking the bail papers, the inspector had to release Veer. Anika and Veer left from there. Shivaay was not able to digest the situation. Once he realised everything, he turned the table upside down and broke everything that came infront of him. OmRu handled him with great difficulty and took him to Oberoi Mansion.

But, in all this chaos they failed to notice one confused soul who was thinking how could his Anika mam do this despite knowing the truth. And that soul was Khanna. Everyone saw his Boss' anger after knowing about Anika's sudden actions but only he could see that his boss waa actually hurt. He also know that his Shivaay sir trusts his Anika more than his life, so he will not let this matter go easily. With these thoughts he went to talk to Shivaay.

Shivaay had locked himself in his room. He didn't want to talk to anyone. He knew this very well that Anika was lying to him. She can be hurt, she can be sad, she can hate him, But she can't marry someone else. He could see it in her eyes when she was telling him everything. It can't be true. He had seen the pain in her eyes but couldn't guess the reason of her pain. That pain was not because he was going to marry someone else or it wasn't the pain that he didn't treat her as his family. It was something different, But what ? This question was making him mad. He broke all the things in his room. The family members kept asking him to open the door but he ignored all of them. At last everybody had to leave him alone for sometime.

Khanna knocked the door of his room and called him but got "Get out" as a reply from his angry boss. But he was also a stubborn emploee of a stubborn boss, so he kept banging the door. Om and Rudra could notice khanna's restlessness. They know very well that khanna would never do anything without any reason. They also tried to talk to Shivaay but he didn't reply to them.

Khana : Sir, it's about ANIKA MAM.

And the next second the door opened.

Shivaay : What about Anika ?

Khanna : Sir, ac..actually Anika mam knows that your marriage was fake. When Roop asked you all to take a family picture I had noticed Anika mam was there and crying. I understood that Roop manipulated Anika mam. When she was leaving I followed her and told her that all of this was fake and that, you were trying to prove her father's innocence. I told her that you didn't tie the nuptial chain in that girl's neck. But, I don't know why she's doing all this. There must be a big reason.

Om (recalling something ) : Shivaay! Do you remember, when we met Sahil, he said that Anika came to meet him and was behaving differently.

Rudra : yes, he said that she was talking rudely. Anika bhabhi can never behave like that with Sahil, even if She is angry.

Shivaay : You're right, Rudy. We have to find the reason behind her weird behaviour. Abd we can do that when we will meet her.

Om : But, how will we find her ?

Shivaay : In veer's house. Lets go.

Bhavya and Gauri too wanted to meet Anika so they left with them.

In veer's house

Veer : Oh God, I'm so happy Anika. Finally I did what I wanted. Did you see the look on Shivaay's face hahaha, he was looking as if he has lost everything. I'm so happy.

Anika ( Disgustingly ) : How can someone be so cheap. How can someone laugh seeing someone in pain. You... you're a filthy man who....

Her sentence was left incomplete as he slapped her hard across her face. He was unknown to the fact that Her Husband, her two brothers and her two sisters were watching everything. Shivaay was going to enter inside the house and slap him but omru stopped him because this was the only way to know why anika is behaving like that. So they kept quite.

Anika fell on the floor due to the Force of the slap. Veer held pulled her by her hairs.

Veer : You bloody stupid, how dare you talk to me like that. Don't you know what I can do ? I'm your Husband and...

Anika  ( laughing ) : Hahaha..  Misunderstanding, it's your misunderstanding Mr. Veer. What you thought, that I would give my Shivaay's place to someone else and especially to a man like you ? Never, never ever. That marriage was fake. I asked the priest to chant wrong mantras. 

Flashback

Anika was in the market to buy some vegetables. She just came from the HOSPITAL. She had nothing left in her life, or She doesn't even have LIFE. Someone called her from behind.

Person : Hello !

Anika turned and looked at the person standing infront of her with utter hatred.

Anika : What do you want, veer ?

Veer : You !

Anika : What the hell are you speaking?

Veer : Look anika, YOU AREN'T OK. I KNOW THAT. I ALSO KNOW THAT YOU KNOW EVERYTHING. BUT, I KNOW YOU ARE SUFFERING FROM BLOOD CANCER. YOU ALSO KNOW THAT SHIVAAY IS LOOKING FOR YOU MADLY. IF SOMETHING HAPPENED TO YOU HE WILL SUFFER. DO YOU WANT THAT ? NO RIGHT ? SO IT'S SOLE SOLUTION IS THAT YOU JUST MARRY ME AND SHOW THAT SHIVAAY THAT YOU MOVED ON. SO HE WILL HATE YOU AND HE WOULDN'T CARE IF YOU LIVE OR DIE. IT'S SIMPLE.

Though Anika wanted a reason to give to shivaay and the family so that they hate her, But she couldn't get married to anyone for that. So she decided to agree with veer but with a different plan.

So when veer and Anika went to the temple to marry, she somehow convinced the priest to do a fake marriage. Veer thought it's a real marriage but actually, It was fake. Anika couldn't give Shivaay's place to anyone else. She would rather die than to do this.

Flashback ends

Veer got angry hearing this and Pushed Anika with all his might. But anika didn't fall on ground, But, in her Shivaay's arms. Shivaay supported her and made her stand Properly while she still being in his protective embrace. At that moment, Anika's emotions took a troll over her and and her tears betrayed her. She hugged him Tightly and started crying. She hid her face in the crook of his neck and held his shirt's collar in her fists. But the only thing Shivaay could see right now was, Anika's bruises that are may be resulted from veer's tortures on her. That was it for shivaay's patience to be broken. Shivaay asked gauri and bhavya to take Anika with them, but Anika denied to go. But shivaay had already started to break Veer's bones. He hit veer with his feet, he punched him continously in his stomach, he kicked him with his knees in his stomach. Veer couldn't do anything except for rolling from here to there.

Om, Rudra and khanna tried to stop Shivaay but he was too much angry to be stopped today. Roop bua and pooja were ladies so he definitely couldn't do anything except for handing them to the police. So roop and pooja's frustration for separating him from his anika came out and he vented it out on veer, mercilessly.

Seeing shivaay's anger, Anika knew that he would kill veer, so she had to step in the matter to stop veer. She was too weak because of her HEALTH CONDITION. But she had to stop him. Shivaay was going to punch veer again but she stood between him and veer. At that instance shivaay's hand stopped in the middle. Anika hugged him immidiately.

Police came and arrested veer, who was nothing more then a half dead corpse. Anika kept Tightening her hold onto him. 10 minutes, 20 minutes, half an hour passed like this, in silence. That silence was the calm before the storm, which was broken when Anika started coughing. Initially, she seemed ok but after that, things got worst. She couldn't control her cough and kept her hand on her mouth coughing badly. She felt weak on her knees and kneeled on the floor. She started losing consciousness and fell 8n shivaay's lap.

ShivOmRu and RiVya panicked. But what shocked them more was her hand covered with blood. They immidiately took her to the hospital.

The doctor took more than two hours to check Anika. Those two hours killed shivaay thousand times. The doctor came out with a dejection clearly visible on his face. Shivaay rushed towards him and showered him with numerous questions.

Doctor : Mr. Oberoi, looks like you all don't know anything about her Condition. You need to be strong, for her.

Shivaay : Don't beat around the bush and tell me that she's fine. Tell me !!! ( he shouted. He was adamant on listening to one thing that she's fine )

Doctor : I wish I could say that. But...She's suffering from BLOOD CANCER. Although it's the initial stage, but because she hasn't taken proper treatment, it may worsen with time.

All of them were too numb to react. The mere mention of such a disease can give goosebumps to anyone, and here, it's about ANIKA the lifeline of Oberoi. Shivaay had lost the strength to speak, stand or react.

"You can meet the patient" was what brought them back from their trance. But only Shivaay was the one who still couldn't process the information. OmRu placed their hands on his shoulders to bring him back from his reverie.

Shivaay : Om... doctor said.. That's why my Anika was doing all this. She.. didn't want to tell me about her... I failed Om, I failed as a Husband. I failed as I couldn't protect her. I failed because I wasn't there when she needed me. I failed.. ( He banged his fist on the wall )

Om : Go and meet Bhabhi, Shivaay. She needs you. You need to make her strong.

Shivaay nodded and entered the ward. His heart pained to see His Anika staring at the ceiling. He never saw her this tired, weak... fragile. She was looking as if, he would touch her and she would disappear.

He quitely sat on the stool beside her bed and laid his head on her heart. He hugged her from her waist, without saying anything. Anika kept stroking his hair and crying silently. It was the first time she was crying because of her HEALTH CONDITION. She would've died easily if Shivaay didn't know about it. But now when He knew that, he fell weak, like he was never before. If it was something else that she would have hidden from him, he would have fought with her, he would have showed his Tadi, but here, he was crying. She could feel her hospital gown getting wet from his tears.

Shivaay : Why did you do this? ( He spoke without getting up )

Anika : I couldn't see you falling weak because of me. Look, what has happened to you because of me. I wish I would have died before you got to know this, I wouldn't have to see you like this. ( She bit her lower lip to control her sobs )

Shivaay ( coming out of her embrace ) : What would you say if I tell you that I would have died that very moment ? How would you feel If I were at your place and you, at mine ?

Anika : Please don't talk like that. Don't make me hate myself more, for hurting you. Please don't do this.

Shivaay : And what about me, Ani. What you were doing was right ? Do you even know how much it was hurting to know that you didn't trust me ? Do you even know how much I was hurt when I got to know that you believed what roop bua had said ? Do you even know how much it hurts to know that your Life is leaving you?

Anika : Shivaay please don't say that, I beg you.. please. ( She said in a chocked voice )

Shivaay : OK. I won't say that. But promise me, that you would never hide anything from me from now on. I want my khidkitod Anika's pinky promise.

Anika : I can't. I can't promise you the thing which is impossible. I don't have time, shivaay. ( She sobbed )

Shivaay : shh !! I can't and I WON'T LET YOU GO. You are too precious for me to lose. I would rather die than let you go.

Anika : But you can't fight with death.

Shivaay : why would I fight ? I WOULD BEG INFRONT OF DEATH TO GUVE YOU BACK TO ME. AND ( he chuckled ) Death would be so happy that SSO is begging infront of her. She will be very happy and then she will give you back to me. ( In a serious and fragile tone ) SHE WILL, RIGHT ?

Anika : She will have to. I had lost the hope to live, but now,  I don't want to go. I want to live with you.

" You will, Bhabhi" They heard OmRu and RiVya's voices from the door.

Rudra : Bhabhi ! How could you do this to us ?

Om : Are we so bad ?

Gauri : Don't we have any relation with you? 

Bhavya : Are we nothing for you ?

Anika : Sorry..

Shivaay : Ok cut it. Noone Is going to trouble Ani.

OmRu, RiVya : She's Our bhabhi, We have the right to scold her.

Anika : Yes you do have the right to scold me. But first give me a hug. All if you.

And next moment, Anika was crushed between a tight hug by the cry babies. After a good emotional reunion, all of them left the ward so that Anika could rest. After that shivaay went to talk to the doctor.

In doctor's cabin

Doctor : Mr. Oberoi, I would suggest you to go for Bone Marrow transplant. It's the best treatment for this.

Shivaay : do whatever you want to, But I want my wife to be health.

Doctor : Ok. But I want to know if she has any sister or brother ? Because sibling's bone marrow matches with the patient's bone marrow. So if she has any siblings, it would be easy to start the treatment.

Only one name was roaming in Shivaay's mind, and that was GAURI. It's time tell gauri, that her Anika bhaujayi is Her Anika jiji. He knew this truth even before the fake marriage fiasco. But he wanted to make that moment special for her and Gauri, without any problems and tensions.

He went to talk to gauri, who was with bhavya Om and Rudra. He sat infront of her on his knees. Gauri and others were confused by his behaviour.

Shivaay : Gauri, will you do me a favour ?

Gauri : Favour? What are you talking about, Bade bhaiya ?

Shivaay : will you please help me to save your ANIKA JIJI ? Will you help me to save your sister ?

Gauri understood what he meant but it was like a dream so she looked at Shivaay for confirmation. Shivaay nodded positively while Smiling a bit. Gauri looked at Om who was smiling.

Gauri : I've waited desperately to know about my sister, My jiji. How can I not help you? I would do anything To save my jiji.

Shivaay : She needs a bone marrow transplant, you are her sister. May be Your bone marrow would match with hers. So you can be a donor for her.

Gauri : I can do anything to save my Bhaujayi and jiji.

The bone marrow of Anika and gauri matched and the procedure was decided to be done after three weeks. Aftet all the checkups, Anika was taken to Oberoi mansion and was welcomed by whole family. The happiest person to see Anika was pinky. But still, the family was sad and worried regarding Anika's condition. They knew if something happened to Anika, then Shivaay would die.

These three weeks were the happiest for Anika. Nobody left a single chance to be with Anika. Shivaay was always at home with her. Their love, care and affection was making it more difficult for Anika to wait for the treatment because now, she wanted to live.

At last, the day came that could change their lives, for good or WORST. Anika was with Shivaay whole time.

Those 8 hours were the most horrible for Shivaay. He had kept Anika's chand bracelet close to his heart because only his Anika could provide h8m with the strength he needed at this moment.

Noone, No.One. could define the happiness that Shivaay felt in his heart when the doctors told them that His Anika was going to live, With him. She will grow old with him. He couldn't stop the smile that played on his lips. Now he was going to give her the best surprise of her life, Her little sister CHUTKI.

After whole two days the doctors allowed them to meet Anika. Shivaay entered inside. He caressed her face to clear to himself that she is for real, not hus dream. He found himself staring in those two beautiful brown orbs.

Shivaay : Death had mercy on me, Anika. I won.

Anika : We won shivaay, our love won. I'm going o live, With you, with our family.

Shivaay : and with someone special too.

Anika : who ?

Then someone entered the room by hiding her face behind Anika's favourite bouquet of flowers, White orchids.

Anika : Shivaay, who is she ?

Shivaay : CHUTKI, YOUR CHUTKI.

Anika : Wh..what ? Is s..she my Ch...chutki ?

Shivaay : Yes, she's your chutki.

The girl revealed her face and Anika was left dumbfounded. GAURI was standing infront of her with a big smile and teary eyes. Gauri took slow steps towards Anika and gave her the bouquet with shivering hands. Anika didn't move but she just kept staring her Little chutki who is grown up. She kept cursing herself that she was here, infront of her, But she couldn't recognise her. How foolish of her that she kept crying for her chutki, without knowing the fact that she was infront of her.

Gauri : JIJI, won't you hug me ?

Anika extended her hand for gauri and in response, CHUTKI jumped on Her JIJI. Both the sisters kept crying and looking at each other as they were still not able to believe that they're together. Anika kept showering her chutki with kisses and caresses.

After an emotional reunion of Chutki and JIJI, all the family members came and met Anika. But Bhavya was standing aloof. Anika sensed her feelings and called her.

Anika : Bhavya, Don't let these thoughts cross your mind ever again. Chutki is my sister from blood. But you and chutki are equal to me. You are also my little doll.

Bhavya was elated to hear that and hugged Anika. All the family members left after meeting Anika. Only Shivika were left alone. Shivaay sat beside her holding her hand.

Anika : Shivaay, How much time should I have to stay in this boring hospital. I want to go home. Please.

Shivaay : One weak Anika, after that we will go back home.

Anika : Ufff one weak. I will go mad in one day n you're talking about one weak.

Shivaay :  well, you'll have to return here once again Sweetheart.

Anika became sad hearing that.Fear started engulfing her and tears brimmed in her orbs. Shivaay noticed those tears and smacked himself mentally for playing such a poor joke. He got close to her and whispered near her ear.

Shivaay : You'll have to come here, to bring my princess to this world.

Anika understood what this cheapda meant and smacked him on his chest. But who could stop Mr. Cheapda singh oberoi from stealing the kiss
