CHAPTER 65
Janki set the idol of the great Mata Mahishasur-Mardhini, near the shivling where Shri Ram would do his evening prayers. She kept flowers and fruits at the feet of the idol and joined her hands in front of her.
"Vakratunda Mahakaya Surya Koti Samaprabha |
Nirvighnam Kuru Me Dev Sarv-Kaaryeshu Sarvadaa ||" Janki chanted.
"O Vighnaharta Ganesh, I pray that you take away all the obstacles on my way to self realisation." Janki said.
She then sat down in the position of Padmasana and closed her eyes.
"Om namo devi Adi-para Shakti...." Janki chanted.
Shri Ram looked at her from the threshold of the hut and smiled. He then gestured Laxman to come towards him.
"Yes Bhaiya ?" Laxman asked.
"Laxman, now we must ensure that Sitey completes the journey she has embarked on and hence it is our duty not to disturb her and not let anyone else to disturb her." Shri Ram said.
"As you say Bhaiya." Laxman nodded.
Shri Ram smiled and looked at Janki again who was now lost in some other spiritual realm.
"Ekoham... Bahusyam !" The most divine voice said and from it emerged the mother of all universes.
Through the light of Devi Adi-para Shakti, the entire black void started gleaming. From her emerged Nirgun entities, one from strength, one from knowledge and one from Maya.
Maya. From which the universe comes into being. From which all happiness and all miseries come into being. From which all entities come into being. From which life and death come into being.
This Maya gives meaning, this Maya gives lakshya, this Maya is Lakshmi. A goddess who sits on the 1000-pettaled divine lotus. Kamala some call her, while others address her as Padma. Although she has a 1000 names to be addressed from.
Lakshmi gives wealth in forms of money, in forms of fame, in forms of health. All forms of fortune are attained through her.
Her feet are worshipped by devas, daityas, rakshasas, Danavas, Gandharvas, apsaras, Nagas, Yakshas and manavas. Her feet is praised by even by the supreme Tridev.
Tridev. Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. Vishnu, the palanhaar, the Mayapati, is her husband, her beloved, her ardhang. Through them both the universe comes into being, it gets life.
Janki opened her eyes, the sun had already set. She could've continued but there were other duties that she must fulfill along with her penance.
But whatever she saw answered many of her questions but raised even more. And Janki knew that she will get the answers only through more penance.

A/N
Devi Janki is experiencing what Arjun was experiencing during Gita Gyan... This is explained best by these lines -
Santulit man kaise karu ?
Keshav kaho upaye...
Jitne uttar de rahe ho...
Prashna toh badhte jaye O Keshav
Prashna toh badhte jaye !
🙏🙏🙏
