"With mothers and Guru Vasisth along with citizens of Ayodhya, Bharat and Shatrughan went to bring Shri Ram, Janki and Laxman back to Ayodhya. They were joined by Nisadh-raj Guha on their way." Krishna said.

"Vasudev, is it true that Bharat walked on his own feet till Chitrakoot ?" Yudhishthir asked.

"Yes, Jyesht. In Shringverpur when Bharat came to know that Shri Ram has slept on the grass-bedding, eaten Kandamool and just drank the water from the Ganga then Bharat out of guilt and repentance walked barefoot till Chitrakoot and refused to eat or drink anything." Krishna said smiling.

Janki was looking at the setting sun while sitting on the courtyard of the hut. There was so much peace in Chitrakoot due to the penance of sages.

Those great men had realised who they were and thus knew who Shri Ram was and who she was. But the irony here was that everyone seemed to know her reality except she herself.

"Sitey ? What are you thinking about ?" Shri Ram came from inside the hut.

She looked behind at him and smiled, everytime there was a query in her mind her would come right in. Shri Ram sat beside her and looked at the beautiful sunset and then at her, whose radiance was even brighter than the sun.

"I wonder how all the sages here know so much about us." Janki said.

"Because they have reached the stage of self-realization. They have attained the truth that they are aatma who has to reach Paramatma." Shri Ram said.

"But how does one attain such sage ?" Janki asked.

"Through penance. Through meditation one can realise what their reality is." Shri Ram said.

Janki smiled at Shri Ram and then suddenly heard a stomping sound. The couple looked at Laxman who angrily kept the sticks he had retrieved from the forest and went to grab his bow.

"Laxman what happened ?" Shri Ram asked.

"Bharat has come !" Laxman said.

"Bharat has come ?" Shri Ram asked as a smile appeared on his face.

"Bhaiya this is not a thing to be happy ! He has come with army ! I saw him while collecting the sticks. He is here to attack !" Laxman said.

"Bharat is not like that Laxman." Shri Ram said.

"Bhaiya don't be so innocent ! I am sure that a wise man must've told Bharat that the throne belongs to you ! Maybe the people must've revolted against him ! So he is here to kill you so no one can take his throne !" Laxman said.

"Laxman !" Shri Ram scolded.

"Not today Bhaiya ! If Bharat has come to attack then I swear by your lotus feet that I will severe his head ! I will kill both Bharat and Shatrughan !" Laxman said.

"Laxman, with your valor you can do what you just have said. But you cannot undo it. The Bharat I know would never be so cruel, but if you kill that Bharat and come to know that your suspicion was false then ? Can you undo your karma ?" Shri Ram asked.

"Bhaiya, you are kind and innocent and thus believe other people to be like yourself. But in the greed of thrones even gods like Indra lose their mind ! Bharat is just a human ! And son of that Kaikeyi over that !" Laxman said.

"BHAIYA !" The voice of Bharat brought them both out of their stance.
