"Bharat, your father while keeping in mind his Dharma and following his promise has given you this prosperous kingdom and has left for heaven. Your elder brother Ram Chandra just like a great person to keep his father's promise has left to the forest. Now it is your duty to sit on the royal throne of Suryavansh and protect your subjects." Vasisth said.

"Is this your order Gurudev ?" Bharat asked.

"It is your duty Bharat." Vasisth said.

"What do the ministers say ?" Bharat said turning to the Mantri-mandal.

"The kingdom and subjects who are without a king, are always unsafe. The enemy grabs this chance and destroy the kingdom with an attack. So only you are capable of being the king of Raghuvanshi Samrajya. Although you are not eldest, but the absense of Shri Ram Chandra makes you the legal heir to the throne." Arya-Sumant said.

"One needs three things to become a king. Guru's blessings, support of ministers and companions, and the love and trust of subjects. Today I have all three things, therefore I can whole-heartedly accept the throne. But before that I have a question to Mantri-mandal." Bharat said.

"What is it ?" Arya-Sumant asked.

"Few days back, my swargiya Pitashree Dashrath had put forward a similar proposal in front of all. The coronation of Shri Ram Chandra. And all of you together in one voice had agreed to it. Why ? Why did you all support the proposal ?" Bharat asked.

"Because you get a king like Ram Chandra with good fate." One minister said.

"You are right. Then after taking your opinion, Maharaj on the behest on his one queen, he rejected the say of everyone and sent Shri Ram to forest. And he decided to make the son of his favourite queen, the king. Did anyone of you ask the king what about your say ? Did you challenge the king against this injustice ?" Bharat asked.

The ministers didn't say anything and lowered their gazes. Bharat shook his head as he looked at their faces down in shame.

"It's good to have rights. But the one who doesn't protect those rights, the ones who won't fight for it, will have to suffer. Their king would be chosen just like me by planning or plotting. Do you wish this should continue in the future ?" Bharat asked.

"Not at all !" The ministers said all together.

"Then get up. And take that crown along with things of coronation and let us give to the one who rightfully deserves it. Let us coronated Shri Ram Chandra and bring him back to the kingdom." Bharat said.

"Yes ! We will bring him back !" The ministers stood up with determination.

"Bharat, are you sure Vedhase will agree to return ?" Vasisth asked. Bharat gave a sad smile to his guru at that.

"If he doesn't then just like him, I too will stay in the forest in sage-attire. This is my oath and repentance." Bharat said.

"You are great Bharat. Raghuvansh is filled with great personalities, but there never was anyone greater than you." Vasisth said.
