CHAPTER 33

"What actually happened to Devi Janki ?" Bheem asked.

"Devi Janki just experienced what it was like being in the place of Devi Saraswati. After all the Tridevi are one." Krishna said smiling.

------

Janki was still confused as to how she was able to play Veena and for a moment where was she lost, a cosmos filled with light of knowledge.

But she was brought out of her thoughts with a thumping sound of a stick.

"My Bharat and Bahurani Mandavi are performing prayers !" Manthara said coming with two maids following her.

"Bharat, I brought flowers and sweets for you both to offer it to Mahadev." Manthara said.

"Manthara what about the sweets you were about to give to Sita didi ?" Urmila asked.

Janki and Shri Ram shook their heads as Mandavi, Urmila and Shrutkirti chuckled while Bharat, Laxman and Shatrughan supressed their laugh.

"Sita didn't tell me that she wasn't Mandavi ! There are no sweets for an imposter !" Manthara scoffed.

At that Janki frowned, the word 'imposter' seemed to pierce her heart like a dagger. Manthara gave her a disgusted look and went away stomping her stick.

"Bhabhi allow me to teach her a lesson !" Laxman said coming forward.

"N-No need, Laxman Bhaiya." Janki said, leaving the temple.

"I will not leave that Manthara." Shatrughan said.

"Calm down Shatrughan. She is elder to us." Shri Ram said.

"But that doesn't give her the right to insult Bhabhishree. I must ask for forgiveness." Bharat said.

"Don't blame yourself Bharat, I will go to her." Shri Ram said and left.

He looked around the premises of the royal temple and found Janki standing near the flower bushes, contemplating her upside down life.

She couldn't understand what was happening to her, she had felt a connection with Mata Saraswati while playing the veena and now she was feeling like an imposter due to Manthara.

She didn't had the qualities it required to be Sita, to be as piou as as her, to be as strong as her, or at least that's what she thought about herself. Janki thought that she wasn't Ram's Sitey and merely an imposter.

"Sitey ?" Shri Ram's voice brought her out of the thoughts.

Janki turned around and saw him walking towards her with smile as he also gazed at the flowers of the bushes.

"The flowers are beautiful, aren't they ?" He asked.

"They are." Janki nodded.

"This reminds of the first time we met at the Pushp vatika of Gauri Mandir at Janakpur." Shri Ram said.

A smile appeared on Janki's face remembering the unforgettable moment when she came face to face with the lord of three worlds.

"You know Sitey, the moment I laid my eyes on you I became yours, just yours." Shri Ram said.

"And I become yours." Janki said with a smile.

There was something about talking with him that took away all the doubts and gave her the feeling of surity and certainty. It made her feel, that if she really was an imposter then Shri Ram wouldn't have accepted her as his wife.

She smiled at him and he took her hand in his soft one.

"Sitey, don't feel bad at Manthara's words. She has become senile with old age." Shri Ram said.

"I won't." Janki smiled keeping her other hand over his.

A/N

Everything sounds good in English, if the last dialogue of Shri Ram was in Hindi then it would've hit different 😂😂

English - Sitey, don't feel bad at Manthara's words. She has become senile with old age.

Hindi - Sitey, Manthara ki baat ka bura na mano. Woh budhape ke saath sathiya gayi hai

Hey Ram ! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
