I frantically looked around, checking to see if Clementine was okay. She was on the ground, and I was frightened that she might be dead I ran over and helped her up, then grabbed the baby and went behind the wall with Luke.
Luke made a plan, I handed the baby to Clementine and shot at the man behind the rock but before I could do much Luke got shot in the leg. Kenny grabbed Arvo and aimed the pistol at his head, yelling at the man with the AK47 to come out.
Arvo jumped when his sister approached us, as a walker. I shot her before she could get to Clementine or the baby and Kenny dropped to the ground to avoid getting shot.
As the Russian with the AK came out to shoot Kenny, Jane appeared and stabbed him in the neck with a knife. Kenny finished him off and Bonnie took the baby from Clementine.
We mourned Rebecca until Kenny turned to Arvo and started beating him up, then Bonnie handed me Rebecca's baby and helped Mike hold Kenny back from the boy.
Kenny soon aimed the gun at Arvo and started yelling that he started all the shit we went through I groan and stepped in front of the pistol.
"(Y/N)? What the hell are you doing?" Kenny asked, confused.
"Kenny, put the gun down." I hissed, "Nothing good is going to come from this if you shoot him. He wants to help us."
"How can you trust him?" He asked.
"You know me, Kenny. You know I'm not one to trust people." I said, Kenny shook his head.
"Well, I am not letting him kill anyone else." Kenny hissed, I sighed and shook my head.
"I'm sorry it had to go this way, Kenny." I muttered, which confused the man a lot.
"Huh? What do you-" I cut him off because I used the ice beneath my feet and slid over, tripping Kenny. I grabbed his gun and shoved it into my pocket.
Kenny was disoriented when he got back up, so we started following Arvo to the place he was talking about while Bonnie and I helped Kenny limp there since the fall hurt him a bit more than I had first hoped. Clementine held the baby beside me while Mike and Jane helped Luke with his bullet wound.
We stopped for a moment when Luke's leg was getting worse, and then Bonnie suggested that we should clean Kenny's bandages.
"I think we should settle for AJ, or Alvin Junior." Kenny said.
"I think Alvin and Rebecca would've like that." I responded.
"We have to clean your bandages." I said, Kenny nodded silently and we took the bandage off.
I poured the liquid onto the rag and Kenny flinched in pain as I patted his eye and then wrapped the bandage back around his eye.
Soon, we kept walking and came across a place where there was a fence and we planned to stay the night. Kenny handed AJ to me because he was heading to see if the place was a walkers nest and AJ was getting a little fussy. I made a funny face towards the child and he calmed right down, giggling in my arms.
"He likes you." Bonnie complemented.
"He's cute." I said, smiling.
Bonnie soon took him back and Kenny and Jane came back- saying we were going to be safe in the place we had found.
Bonnie, Kenny, Luke, Mike, Clementine, and I sat around the fire. Luke went on to talk about it being his birthday and Bonnie brought out some rum while Kenny decided to leave with the baby to keep an eye on the perimeter.
Bonnie started talking about Luke's fun times with Jane when I quickly covered Clem's ears.
"You're right, (Y/N). We should be talking like this with Clem around." Bonnie agreed, glaring at the two men beside her.
Soon, Bonnie gave Clementine the job of getting Kenny and Jane over by the fire so they weren't freezing. I let her go alone, and stayed with the adults to talk more.
"I never did ask you, (Y/N). How did you and Clementine meet?" Bonnie asked.
"I remember it like it was yesterday. I had just turned seven, Clem was five. It was our first day at a new school. I sat at the corner of the cafeteria with my elephant pop-up book and Clementine decided to sit to my right. I dropped my book, and she picked it up. She said she liked unicorns too. From that day forward, we were best friends. We put each other before everything- even homework, usually I'd end up getting in trouble because I didn't finish homework on time." I explained, the group of us laughed.
After a long, tiring night we headed out to the house Arvo was talking about again. I saved Kenny from being attacked by a walker, then we continued.
When we turned a corner, Arvo pointed out the house we had been searching for.
"That piece of shit? It's half-built!" Kenny exclaimed, as Clementine and I rounded the corner to see it.
I realized that the ice was going to make it really hard to get the house without any casualties, so I spoke up.
"Spread out, too much weight in an area and we'll go under."
"She's right." Bonnie agreed, and we decided to go.
Clem and I walked hand-in-hand, she was scared. Behind us, walkers started coming slowly. And suddenly, some walkers fell through and Arvo started running. Which made everyone except Bonnie, Clem, Luke, Jane and I run. But then Luke's area started cracking.
"Don't come over." He said.
Then he fell through, and he was on the edge. Clem wanted to help so the two of us started tip-toeing to Luke while Bonnie shot the walkers as they were trying to come to him. But then Clem and I both fell through the ice.
We banged on the ice, until a walker grabbed Clem's foot and I quickly kicked it until Luke tried to kill another walker and ended up getting pulled farther down into the water.
Someone grabbed me and Clem, so we were both on the surface. Jane picked up Clem and started running into the house, while Bonnie grabbed me and followed her.
They lit a fire for us, while Clementine and I hugged each other and try to get as warm as possible. Kenny tied Arvo up then the fire was going so we sat down by the fire and started falling asleep.
