Chapter three

Now, I don't really hate my sister I just was angry at her. Angry that she didn't think to tell me where she had went or why she had left.
"Marley?" I whispered. My body felt weak. My head was pounding. I couldn't believe it, no I shouldn't believe it. This was just a dream.
"Stand up little lady." Amelie pulled me from my kneeling position. I hadn't even noticed that I had fallen. My legs were jelly so I leaned against a dumpster to help me stand.
My sister stared at Amelie and Sylvia. She wouldn't look at me. I placed my body in a submissive position. My sister hated when I did that so maybe if I did it she would talk to me.
"Oh little lady, why you look so sad?" Amelie sung into the cold ally way air.
The moon was halfway full tonight so there was enough light to reflect off of everyone's face. I stared at my sister. She seemed different.
Her wavy brown hair was in a braid, her face was perfection. Her eyes though, her eyes were cold husky brown. It was like I was staring at a lifeless corpse.
There were two boys standing with her. The older one had short pitch black hair, his eyes were a bright blue and his skin a light color. The younger boy who looked my age was standing a few steps behind them. He had sandy brown hair, his eyes were a dark dirty emerald and his skin was a tad bit on the tan side.
"Ooo I think you and Jack would be perfect." Amelie whispered in my ear. I realized I had been staring and resumed my position of submission.
"Marley, we will give you your sister." Sylvia dragged her finger down the side of her face. "But," she paused for a second as if to stop and think. "You'll owe us a favor." Sylvia smirked, obviously feeling successful she dragged me closer to her body.
"What would we owe you?" I felt the hurt surge through my body.
"Oh you know, I don't quite know that yet so, I'll tell you when I find out." Sylvia looked shocked when my sister asked.
"Fine." Marley growled lowly. I fought the smile from surfacing on my face.
"See ta later little lady." Amelie hugged me, then threw me on the ground before my sister. She made sure I hit my head against the dumpster. I felt the blackness start sweeping toward the front of my head.
"Are you ok Loral?" I felt my sister pick me up. I opened my mouth to say something, but the blackness had already engulfed me.

-2 hours later-
My head felt terrible. It felt like someone had put me on one of those teacup rides and spun me around in the teacup thousands of times.
"You awake." Someone shook my shoulder to wake me. I sat up instantly and groggily opened my eyes.
"Where's Marley?" I looked around the room for her.
"Why do you care." A boy who was a little taller then me spat. I stared at him shocked, shocked that he would talk to me that way.
"Shut up tommy." A older girl said from behind me. "I'm Rhonda, that there's Tommy." She pointed her finger at the boy who had spat at me. "That there's Pepper," she the cocked her head towards the red head standing next to her.
I looked between Pepper and Tommy. They both had bright green eyes, there facial structured was the same and they were around the same height. The only difference was there hair, Pepper had dark ginger hair well Tommy had a deep sandy ginger hair.
"You brother and sister?" I looked at them both and lifted my finger singling them to not answer yet. "No your twins." I nodded my head twice.
"How did you know?" Pepper looked at me for a second.
"Because she's very good at observing and reading people." I turned to see Marley walk into the room with her arms crossed.
"I was always the better one at reading well Marley beat there butts. We were the dream team." I looked at and imaginary rainbow and sighed a mystical sigh.
"A dream team." Tommy snorted.
"Yes." I growled. Marley put her hand up to signal me to calm down.
"Well the dream team didn't work out but becoming a dog might be a good life choice." Tommy cackled and walked out of the circular room.
"Jerk." I muttered, Marley raised her eyebrow at me well Pepper and Rhonda sighed.
"Now, now play nice." Marley laughed. I studied her for a second. She seemed happy right now.
"Oh my god." I gasped as I looked at Marley.
"What?" I shrugged my shoulders and swung my legs off the couch.
"I wanna go explore." I twirled in a a circle.
"Ok Pepper can show you around." Marley said well sitting down where I had been previously been laying.
"Come on." Pepper tugged my arm and pulled me. Out of the room
"I bet you'll be going to school with me." I looked at pepper. "I mean you have to go to school." I shrugged as we entered a room.
"So let me guess." I turned in a circle. The room had bookshelf a stocked full of books and a couple of computers here and there. "This is the library?" Pepper nodded her head.
"Everything is pretty self explanatory." She handed me a map. "Here this should help you."
"Wait so your not gonna show me around?" I opened the map to look at it.
"Well, I kinda just wanted to help you get ready for school, get your room ready, help you buy cloths and help change your hair." She pulled a book off the bookshelf.
"Umm, ok" I looked at her weirdly.
"Good, now come on we best go get your hair changed first." She tugged me out of the library and into a bathroom.
"Your gonna do my hair?" I felt my eyes widen in shock.
"Oh no silly." Pepper flushed the toilet and the bathroom floor swallowed us whole.
We slid down a metal like pipe. It was like a water ride just without the water. We both landed in a hair salon chair.
"Whoa." I swirled in the chair for the next five minutes before Pepper stopped the chair.
"Howdy Pepper, how would you like your hair done today?" An older lady walked over to the two of us.
"Oh no m'am you'll be doing Loral's hair today." Pepper motioned towards me.
"Well the how'd ya like your hair little missy." I looked at Pepper for help.
"You decide Mrs. Gucband." Pepper looked at me and shrugged her shoulders.
"Umm I don't want really short hair or hair that can't be put in braids." I whispered as Mrs. Gucband strolled over to me.
"Mhm sweets." She lifted my hair up and studied it.
I was slowly drifting to sleep by the time my hair was done. I looked like a totally different person. My hair had been a beautiful dark brown color now it was a lighter brown color with bronze highlights thrown in freely, the tips had a dark blue on it and there was a couple strips of red in my hair.
"You like?" Mrs. Gucband asked.
"I love." I felt my hair. The person I was looking at in the mirror did not look like me at all. I guess it was time to have a change.
"Ooo I love it." Pepper walked back into the hair salon. She had said that she needed to get her credit card to get me new cloths.
"Thanks." I blushed, I never blushed. It felt weird having a compliment. I mean I never blushed because no one ever gave me compliments.
"Now let's go shopping." I groaned and rolled my head back like I was about to die. "Oh come on it'll be fun." I chuckled and Mrs. Gucband winked at me as we left.
"Where are we going first?" I scratched my head and frowned.
"Where going to Kohl's." I looked at Pepper for a second.
"Ok." I sighed and submitted defeat. I was going shopping whether I liked it or not.
