3:30 PM, Beth and Allie's bedroom

"I hate school," Allie says, falling down onto her bed.

"Already? It's only your first day, what happened?" Beth asks, taking off her shoes.

"I got detention."

"So, that's what mom was talking to you about. What did you do?" Beth lets out a small laugh, putting her shoes in the closet.

"Well, I don't think it's my fault. My teacher gave me detention for complaining about something. I'm basically using the complaint box in the hall without making it private for anyone," she explains.

"Ok. Well, how was detention?"

"Awful. This stupid 'bad boy' got detention and tried to ask me out like a hundred times. He's not even a bad boy! And you know what he did?" Allie says.

"Was it something stupid?" She asks, sitting down on Allie's bed next to her.

"You really wanna know?" Allie sighs.

"Yes!"

"He put... drawings of... penises on the walls in the hall."

Beth bursts out laughing, falling onto the bed. "Seriously?"

"Yes," Allie says, and starts laughing afterwards, joining Beth.

After collecting themselves, they both go to the kitchen for a snack.
