Chapter Eleven

The story is going to be a little more mature... Sorry, Miss Moffat 😂

Laurel

Note-to-self: Malcolm Merlyn is a cuddler.

I laid silently going over the events of the night, remember what I said and did. Definitely, don't want to tell the girls about this.

I slowly slipped out of Malcolm's arms, putting on his t-shirt and slowly made my way down to the kitchen. "What the-" I froze, turning to see Tommy.

"Tommy" I whispered.

"Laurel Lance?" He whispered, "What the hell are you doing here?"

"Uh-" I looked around, "Long story?"

"Laur-"Malcolm stepped out of the bedroom, only in shorts. "Tommy, I thought you wouldn't be home until tomorrow evening"

Tommy looked at him before looking back to me. "Oh great, you're moving onto my age group now" Tommy walked down the hall.

"Tommy" Malcolm sighed, he looked at me, "I am sorry, Laur"

"No, no, it's fine," I said, "I'm just going to get some water"

I turned back, walking downstairs to the kitchen. Yea, totally not the awkwardest position I've been in...

I stood in the kitchen, drinking some water and wondering if I was dreaming or not. "Laurel?" Tommy walked in.

"Hi" I whispered.

"He told me," He said, "So what... Do I start calling you mom?"

"Hehe, no" I shook my head. "Listen... You know, I don't actually know what to say"

"Me neither" Tommy nodded.

"Good to see you two getting along" Malcolm walked in.

"Oh yeah, nothing like getting along with my step-mom whose only 4 years older than I" Tommy grabbed some milk.

"I'm going to change" I started walking out, Malcolm quickly pecked my cheek. "I'll be back down in a few minutes"

Laurel walked out, leaving me and Tommy again. Clearly not how we thought our first-day dating would go.

"Why Laurel?" Tommy asked, "No offence to her, but of all the women you could start settling down with Laurel?"

"Of any of women you could complain about me bringing home, you complain about Laurel?" I ask.

"I'm not complaining about Laurel, I'm complaining about you" He shook his head. "Could you not break her heart? She's one of the good ones"

"I don't plan on it" I stated. "Can you be a little nicer too? No extreme sarcasm"

"No promises" Tommy walked out, I stood there and sighed. I'm a good father, aren't I?
