"I'm taking over for you. My first time guarding alone!" I trill, tail tip twitching. I hate lying.

She looks suspicious.
"And who set this up?"

I think quickly.

He's known for giving out opportunities.

"And what about her?" Umber gives Aquiver an odd glance.

"I'm here to teach her the reasoning of why cats wish to kill themselves. A learning experience for the both of us. I'm from the City of Epiphany."

Aquiver is a good liar. She doesn't care about it either.
