EPILOGUE #2

     It was the night of Halloween, everyone was in their house waiting for kids to come trick or treating only so they could pretend they weren't at home. Sirene Black and her now husband(!) Andrew Rosier were busy with a one year old floating away on her broom.

     "I'll kill him!" Sirene said frustratedly trying to get a hold of little Regan floating around, "Let me get a hold of him and I will"

     "Relax, Ren" Andrew said chuckling as he grabbed his camera, "It's gonna be fine, she's just a few feet above the ground — besides, her grip is to tight she won't fall"

     "You don't know that!" Sirene said quickly taking Regan into her arms, tucking her hair back, "She could get hurt"

     "Right" Andrew rolled his eyes, moving forward to grab his daughter, "You, little miss, are going to be a natural at Quidditch"

     "Just like her mother" Sirene said with a smug grin, Andrew raised his eyebrows at her, "And her father...I guess"

     Andrew shook his head before setting Regan down in her small bed, he kissed her forehead lightly and then joined his wife(!) in the living room. The pair had gotten married when they were twenty, soon after Sirene found out she was pregnant.

     Sirius was the best man, of course, but Sirene never did find out whether it was because Andrew wanted him to be or because Sirius threatened him.

     They lived in the house Sirene had bought when she was just seventeen to live with the rest of her friends. Sadly, one of them wasn't with them anymore — Marlene McKinnon died in a brave battle between her and a few deatheaters.

     Sirene and rest were crushed, and then Sirene lost her brother. The pain was unbearable it was so bad that even Andrew couldn't cheer her up. Neveah left Sirius after their daughter — Lorelei Black — was born, because she wasn't ready to be a mother and settle down.

     In the middle of it all came Regan, she was honestly the light Sirene needed.

    Sirene smiled softly at her daughter before her attention was brought to the doorbell that rang three times and then once more, indicating it was one of the order members. Sirene shut her daughter's room's door and then made her way towards the main door with her wand in her hand, as she took a look from the peephole, she saw no one.

     The doorbell rang again, this time just once and she heard some footsteps that stopped right outside her door. Andrew got up with his wand in his hand stood besides Sirene.

     The doorbell rang again. This time Sirene decided she would just open it and see.

     "TRICK OR TREAT!" A little child waddled in with a toothy grin and her messy hair, she was in a robin costume, she could barely speak properly but enough for the adults to make out her words.

     "Oh my goodness!" Sirene cooed picking her up and balancing her on her hips as Lily and James emerged with identical grins on their faces, "Look at you, you're dressed up as a robin!" Andrew released a chuckle as the kid nodded enthusiastically.

     "Like my name!" Robin Potter said as she motioned for Sirene to let her down like she always does so she could go and see the baby, "Is Reggie asleep?"

     "Yes" Andrew said but then he quickly added, "I can take you to her but you have to promise to be very quiet"

     "Promise!" Robin held up her pink that Andrew laced his with and then took her hand so he could take her to Regan.

     "What are you two doing out?" Sirene asked in a hushed yell, "And where's Harry?"

     "We weren't supposed to go out" James said, "But then someone" he gave a pointed glare to Lily, "Told her we could go trick or treat-ing!"

     "Lily!" Sirene exclaimed.

     "I know, I know" Lily said in a guilt ridden voice, "But she gave me those puppy Potter eyes"

     "She gets that from me" James said smugly, "We had to leave Harry with Marie and Jacob from the order, Dumbledore suggested we leave Harry at home with them"

     "Well, then he's in good hands" Sirene said, "I saved up so much candy for the kids — Lorelei isn't here yet, but I'm sure Sirius will get here with her soon enough"

     "The only reason Birdie wanted to come here was so she could hang out with El" Lily said taking off her jacket and hanging it on the coat hanger, "Let's hope she gets here soon or I'll have to deal with a hyperactive toddler"

     "Deal?" James asked and the released a small chuckle, "I'm sure you mean laugh and take a picture while I chase the kid around?"

     "It was one time, James!"

     "James and Lily Potter are dead, their son is alive and we believe he's the one who killed the dark lord" an otter danced around the living room as it announced that, a look of pure horror and confusion made it's away among the Potters and Rosiers.

     "What the hell is that?" James said getting up as the bowl of popcorn fell from his lap, he then lowered his voice when Robin stirred in her sleep, "Who's spreading that news around?"

     "James, calm down" Lily said as James picked up Robin who nuzzled into his shoulders, "I'm sure there's a perfectly reasonable explanation for this"

     "What the f-u-c-k?" Sirene said in a hushed voice, spelling out the word out of habit, "We need to get Harry!"

     "That won't be necessary" A voice spoke startling them all as Dumbledore appeared with a crack, Harry in his arms wrapped in a fluffy blanket but now a scar was on his forehead, "Harry is perfectly fine and well"

     "Dumbledore what's going on?" Lily said rushing forward and taking Harry into her arms, "What's that news we just heard?"

     "I'm afraid it's a long story, Lily" Dumbledore said his eyes shining, "Can I have one of those chocolate snitches?"

     Sirene, Lily, James and Andrew eyed him weirdly. He looked at them before releasing a sigh and sitting down on the couch.

     "I'm extremely sorry to tell you that Peter Pettigrew wasn't who we all thought he was" Dumbledore said and everyone frowned, "I'm afraid he was working with the dark lord and acted as an undercover agent of some sort, he was made your secret keeper at the last moment because of Sirius Black not trusting someone, and he revealed where you all lived. Voldemort was the one who killed both Marie and Jacob who were disguised as Lily and James so they could go against Voldemort, they were confident they could defeat him"

     "What?" James said in a hollow voice, "Marie and Jacob?"

     "Yes, James" Dumbledore nodded, "Their selflessness saved your son"

     "No" Lily said, her voice wavering, "No! They can't die for us!"

     "They didn't die for you, Lily" Dumbledore said in a soft voice, "They died for the greater good."

     "What are we going to do now?" James said sitting down on the couch with an empty look on his face, "Everyone thinks we're dead"

     "You'll have to live with a fake identity" Dumbledore said, "It's the best option for your and Robin's safety and as for Harry" Dumbledore looked at the little Harry in Lily's arms, "I'm afraid he can't live with you"

     "Can't live with us?!" Lily exclaimed getting up with a fiery look in her eyes, "Where else would he live?! I'm not going to give my baby away!"

     "Lily, this is for Harry's welfare" Dumbledore said, "If he lives in the wizard world people are going to know, and even though the dark lord isn't here anymore — he's going to be back and I'm sure of it. It's better if Harry stays away from the wizarding world, now I'm aware you have a sister, right, Lily?"

     "We can't leave him with Petunia!" James said, "She hates our kind!"

     "James" Dumbledore said, "This is for Harry, he needs this. When this is all over you can live with happily."

     "How much longer do we have with him?" Lily said her eyes flooding with tears as she stared at Harry in her arms. Sirene and Andrew looked at each other with a sad look, Sirene squeezed Lily's shoulder in hopes of it providing some sort of comfort.

     "I'm afraid he has to go, Lily" Dumbledore said holding out his arms for Harry. Lily's bottom lip wobbled at that and James immediately pulled her to his side. "He'll be back, this isn't forever"

     Lily placed one last kiss on his forehead before handing him off to Dumbledore who disappeared with him after giving everyone a warm smile. Lily broke into soft sobs in James's arms and a very confused Robin woke up with her eyebrows furrowed.

     Sirene and Andrew's eyes widened in panic at the same time as Sirene took Robin to Regan's room.

     "Why was mama crying?" Robin asked as she snuggled against her favorite teddy bear from Sirene's room.

     "Well, Robin" Sirene said unsurely, "Your mama found out that we ran out of candy, and now she's sad"

     Robin stared at the two for a minute before pulling out two candies from her pocket, "I have these. Give her these."

     Sirene smiled softly at the kid and Andrew stayed behind with her as Sirene went out to check up on Lily and James.

     The doorbell rang three times and then one more, Sirene didn't waste any more time and opened the door expecting to see Sirius but instead she saw Remus and Lauren, but even more surprising thing was that they had both Hope and Lorelei with them.

     "Moony? Lauren?" Sirene asked motioning for them to get inside quickly, "What is Lorelei doing with you?"

     "Sirius came to us, and kept apologizing to me again and again" Remus said getting inside, "He said to look after Lorelei while he went to get rid of that bastard"

     "Oh fuck!" Sirene said frustratedly, "We have a lot to catch up on"

     "Is Birdie here?" Lorelei asked shyly and then Sirene winced knowing she'd used a bad word in front of the kid, "I want to see Birdie"

     "She's in Reggie's room, Lore" Sirene kneeled next to the kid, "But we need to have a little chat"

     "Why?" Lorelei asked tilting her head a bit to the side as she stared at her aunt.

     "Well" Sirene pulled Lorelei to her lap, "I just want you to know that no matter what happens, your dadda loves you very much"

     "I know, he told me" Lorelei smiled toothily, "He said he was gonna be back soon"

     Sirene smiled at her.
