1.) What is your name and age? (if you are comfortable telling us)

• My name is Samriddhi and I'm 17.

2.) How did you first land on wattpad?

• It was the lockdown phase that got me to start Wattpad. I'm an avid reader and at that time I couldn't get any novels to read so I switched to online reading.

3.) What made you want to start writing? What was your inspiration?

• Writing always fascinated me. Being a reader, I always thought about how it would feel to pen down your story. In lockdown, I thought of giving it a try and so I started writing. My inspiration for writing was the romance novel I read. It is something that always got me in front of my laptop to write for hours.

4.) From where do you get the ideas of your books?

• It is random. While watching a movie or listening to a song or just talking to myself. I see a story everywhere, to be honest. So, it randomly strikes.

5.) Which genre book are you currently writing? And what are the other genre that you wish to explore in future?

• I'm currently writing a school romance. I would like to explore every genre except sci-fi and biographies.

6.) What will you advice to the aspiring, new writers?

• Just write. Pen down your words and don't give it a second thought. You might feel that people would judge you or you will be demotivated that your stories aren't getting votes and all, but trust me that doesn't matter at all. What matters is the words that you wrote and how beautiful and touching they are. THEY ARE YOUR WORDS.

These books got me to tears and got me goosebumps. I literally lived another life while reading them. These are one of my favorite ones.

8.) Do you pre-plan the things that you write or it comes to you as you write the story?

• It is random. I sometimes plan a rough idea about what I'm gonna write or I write without any plan.

9.) What motivated you to start writing?

• My best friend suhani51 motivates me to write. There were times when I wanted to quit my writing or I felt low, she was there with me in those times and motivated me to write. Other than her, novels inspire me.

10.) What are the challenges that you face while writing?

• The challenge I'm facing in the current story I'm writing is the expectations from my friends. It's a story on them and I don't want them to be disappointed with their own story. I get really nervous when I publish a chapter. Secondly, the readers are so connected with the characters that I think they shouldn't get hurt with the way the story is going, or at any point, they shouldn't feel that the story is not up to their expectations. All these thoughts make me nervous at times and being an overthinker doesn't help. These are the challenges I face.

11.) How do you feel and what do you do when readers criticize you or your work?

• Honestly, I haven't come across any criticism yet.

12.) Do you write secretly? Or does your family knows? If yes, then how do they feel about it?

• I write kinda secretly. My parents don't know about it but my sisters do. And they are really happy about this.

13.) Wanna ask or say anything to your readers?

• Thank you so much for all your love and support. You don't know how special you guys make me feel with all the sweet notes and comments that you give after reading the story. I'm really humbled to have a wonderful family like y'all. I love you guys.

14.) How did you write so humorously?

• It was solely my friend's (suhani51 imagination. I want to give credits to her. She brings the humour in my story.

15.)What will be your lifetime achievement in both Wattpad and real life?

• People enjoying my book and finding themselves in them would be an achievement for me in Wattpad.      Figuring myself out(from every aspect of life), enjoying life, becoming an author and earning for my family would be the biggest achievement in life.
