Todoroki P.O.V.

I continued to stroll around the village, stopping every now and then to check out products being sold. I looked up at the sky to see the sun setting behind the white puffy clouds. That's when I heard it, cheers and claps coming from a crowd of people not too far from the gates.

I made my way over to the crowd, to see what the commotion was about. I pushed by many people, and that's when I saw her. She was smiling and waving to the crowd, and next to her stood the boy from before, the one who almost kissed her.

She was so beautiful, just standing there I was drawn to her. I also felt something else. I turned around to see a girl that I know I had seen before. She had long green hair, and she was standing next to a girl. She was staring at me intently without saying a word. The girl with green hair was holding the other girl's hand, trying to lead her away.

"Tsu! This way I saw a man making flower crowns!" That's when it hit me. 'Tsu' was no girl. She was a Siren who had left the pod moons ago, but no one knew why.

I felt someone grab my arm, and I turned around to see the girl, the one that brought me here. "Hello..." She said. I felt my heart beat faster. Her eyes were brighter than before, full of life.

I cleared my throat, "Hello." I said. It was all I managed to say. She was breathtaking in every way imaginable.

"Who...who are you...?" She said, as she drew closer to me. I felt my cheeks heat up.

"My name is Shouto Todoroki. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." I said as I grabbed her hand and kissed it, just like I had seen others do. I saw her cheeks turn a slight shade of pink.

I was about to ask her if she wanted to dance, but we were interrupted. "Who's this?" The boy from before approached, scowling at me.

"He's...um...a friend of mine..." She said. He looked me up and down, then turned back to her. "We are going to dance now." He said as he forcefully grabbed her hand.

"But-" She tried fighting back.

"I wasn't asking." He said, interrupting her.

He took her away, and as much as I wanted to follow, someone grabbed my arm. I turned to see Tsu.

"What are you doing here!? And with the Princess! You can't have her. She is supposed to marry Bakugou!" She said, anger in her tone.

"It's not like that!" I said as I took her hand off of my shoulder. "When I first saw her... I had this feeling...Like she was the only thing holding me on this planet, and the gravity. I want to know her. I want to love her." I said.

Tsu's anger faded and turned into pity. "I had the same feelings when I met Ochako...but you can't have (Y/N) she is going to marry someone else. I can't let you interfere." She said.

She turned to the girl she was with, presumably Ochako, and nodded.

Ochako mumbled something under her breath, with her hand aimed at me. I felt sharp pains in my skull, like someone had set fire to my brain. I gripped my head, and fell to my knees. I gasped for air, trying to get my body back into functioning, but my head hurt so bad.

"W-what...Are- are...Y-You...doing- to...to me..!?" I said. A crowd began to form around me.

"Sir are you okay?" Ochako said, kneeling down to me. "Do you need a doctor?" My vision became blurry as I tried to look at her. "You...- You.. l-little..." She then winked at me, and the pain in my skull increased.

I then heard footsteps, then a gasp. I tried to look at who it was, but I couldn't. I then felt a hand on my cheek, words were said, but I couldn't understand a thing.

The pain slowly dissipated, and I could finally think straight. I glared at Tsu and Ochako, before turning around to see, (Y/N) with Bakugou, behind her.

"The hell is wrong with you?" He said, glaring down at me. "Oh...it was a..." I trailed off, not knowing how to explain what had happened. "Bad apple!" Ochako said.

"If you eat an apple with a worm in it, your head begins to hurt at a rapid rate." She said, giving an innocent smile. She was not innocent. I hadn't done anything to her, and she had attacked me without any struggle.

I just nodded, and stood on my feet. I looked at (Y/N) then at Bakugou, then back at her again.

"Would you like to dance with me...Your highness?" She made a small giggle. "Actually she-" Bakugou began to say. "I would love a dance." She took my hand and we made our way to the center of the crowd. As we got there, I spun her around. She laughed and we began to dance.

"Would you like to tell me more about yourself?" I asked her as I dipped her. She smiled. 

"Well I-" A pop then a burst of smoke came out of nowhere. Everyone was confused by the occurrence, but then suddenly a scream was heard, as a girl emerged from the smoke.

She was wearing a mask to cover her nose down, and she had two blonde buns on her head. She had a sword, drenched in blood, as two castle guards lay dead behind her. She raised the sword, and with it pointed at Bakugou, then (Y/N).

"There you are...My targets..." (Y/N) grabbed my arm and drew closer to me. I stood in front of her, trying to protect her as much as I could from the girl. "Awww How sweet! Love conquers all right!? Let's see if it can conquer my sword as it slits your throats!" The girl laughed, an unnatural sounding thing, that even made me shudder.

Then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a boy with green hair and freckles, running to the girl, with his sword raised high.

"You shall not harm the royals, or its citizens! Because I am here!" He swan his sword at her, but she jumped back, laughing. He swung again, this time she sword met hers and they began to fight. "Run into the palace, guards will be there to escort you to safety!" He said, as he took a hit to the gut.

"Come on!" (Y/N) said as she dragged me with her into the palace.

Your P.O.V.

"You shall not harm the royals or the citizens! Because I am here!" He yelled swiping at the blonde girl. She out maneuvered him and they kept making swings at each other. "Run into the palace. The guards will escort you to safety." Deku took a hit straight to the stomach and my mind started racing.

"Come on." I pulled Todoroki away from the fight and towards the palace. Momo and Ida were already in the doorway of the palace and I could see my father and Bakugou talking near the throne room.

"(Y/N). I shouldn't have left you." Momo pulled me into a tight hug.

"Don't worry Momo, you had more important things to handle." I patted her back.

"What's more important than protecting you?!" She was choking back tears but I could hear the worry in her voice.

"Momo, calm down." I pushed away from her hold and turned her face to look at me. "You should be out there helping the others." She shook her head.

"I failed once, I won't do it again." She stood up and held her hand out for me.

"Momo Yaoyorozu, you're one of the top apprentice knights. I am telling you to go out there and kick ass." I turned her around and pushed her to the doors.

Assassin- Noun; A murderer of an important person in a surprise attack for political or religious reasons.
