Tomisha Pov

A week had went by since we've got to Japan and lived in our new home. It was nice and all but I am more concern about my school year meeting new friends. Today I am going to my new school Yellow Star Elementary and my brother goes to Green Star Middle School. I wore a pink striped dress, black flats and bow on my head to wear. Dad was taking me to school and I was a bit anxious to be there apparently for being a new kid.

"Alright Tom, i'll pick you up after school. Have fun sweetie!" Dad waved off as he drove away to work while I look at the school entries only to let out a sigh. 

'First day at a new school. Hopefully it won't be so bad.' I thought. 

As I enter inside to see some kids hanging up their things in wooden cubbies with their names labeled on it I soon to happen to spot mine too. I place my things in there and found my classroom that was Mrs. Shells room. I quietly enter the classroom just standing there to count the number of 15 kids inside that I don't know who they are and what they do here. The school bell rang as the kids went to go take a seat as I remained standing holding my hands together until I saw my teacher enter the room with a friendly smile.

"Oh! You must be my new student in this class. Come." She beckon me to go stand in front of the room as I gulped nervously. All the children's eyes were on me and I had a small smile shown on my face.

"Good morning class." Mrs. Shells greeted.

"Good morning Mrs. Shells." The class return the greeting.

"Today we have a new student who came from Italy to Japan. Go on, tell us your name dear." Mrs. Shells said.

"My name is Tomisha Hesper. I'm from Italy and I hope that we can all be good friends." I spoke out loud.

"Welcome to Yellow Star Elementary Tomisha. We're all warmed welcome and happy to be here together as a family. You can go have a seat next to...Goten." She pointed over to a spiky hair boy wearing an orange clothing and blue inside the underarm too. 

"O-Okay..." I said having a seat next to him as he leaned over to me.

"Would you like to play me on free time?" He asked.

"Oh, sure." I shrugged as he gave me a goofy grin.

"Great! I'm Goten." 

"I'm Tomisha."

The meet up on the first day wasn't going so bad for Tomisha after all. Will they continue to do more fun stuff? Find out next time on Sippy Cup!
