After accepting the contract from Aerys, the Shadow Hound gathers his weapons and equipment for his mission. Once the Shadow Hound arrives at Terra Nostrus, the Shadow Hound begins exploring the dense forest for any clues leading to the Last Battalion and it's Commander. As the Shadow Hound searches the forest, he comes across a Skimmer that had been stripped of various parts. The Shadow Hound looks around the area for clues. It was clear to the Shadow Hound that some kind of fight happened here. 

Shadow Hound: Hhm...

Suddenly, the Shadow Hound heard footsteps approaching the area. Without hesitation, the Shadow Hound hit behind cover as two troopers bearing the insignia of the Last Battalion approached the Skimmer. 

Last Battalion Soldier #1: You think those Sky Knights we captured earlier are gonna crack?

Last Battalion Soldier #2: If Wraith's doing the interrogating, then it's only a matter of time. If not, then the Commander will see to it personally. 

Last Battalion Soldier #1: That'll teach the Sky Knights to march in on our turf. We'll show them who truly rules Atmos! 

Seeing an opportunity to get information, the Shadow Hound makes his move and attacks the two Last Battalion Soldiers. The Shadow Hound takes both the soldiers down with ease, disarming their weapons and knocking them to the ground. 

Shadow Hound: Which one of you is gonna point me in the direction of your base?

Last Battalion Soldier #1: Go to Hell! We'll never tell you!

Without warning, the Shadow Hound breaks the neck of the soldier with his boot. He then presses his boot against the neck of the other soldier. The Shadow Hound pulls out one of his blaster pistols and aims it at the soldier's face. 

Shadow Hound: I'd answer the question if I were you. 

Last Battalion Soldier #2: I'd...I'd rather die than reveal any secrets to the likes of you!

Shadow Hound: You really want to throw your life away like this? 

Last Battalion Soldier #2: Fuck you!

Shadow Hound: Really? Those are your last words? "Fuck you"? Come on, you can do better.

Last Battalion Soldier #2: I've got nothing to say to you! 

Shadow Hound: Fine. 

The Shadow Hound then shoots his blaster pistol into the soldier's face, killing him. After killing the Last Battalion soldiers, the Shadow Hound hides the bodies and searches the body. After finding nothing, the Shadow Hound follows the tracks left behind by the patrol. Eventually, the tracks lead the Shadow Hound to an abandoned Sky Knight base. The Shadow Hound then surveys the area and sees dozens of Last Battalion soldiers patrolling the base. 

Shadow Hound: That's their base, aright. Time to take out their Commander....

Using his Jetpack, the Shadow Hound infiltrates the Last Battalion base. Knowing he was outnumbered, the Shadow Hound stuck to the shadows and avoided their patrols. As the Shadow Hound infiltrates the base, he overhears the location of the missing Sky Knights who were locked up in the holding cells. Seeing a potential lead, the Shadow Hound makes his way to the holding cells where the missing Sky Knights were located. When he reaches the holding cells, he sees that the Sky Knights had been executed. Suddenly, the Shadow Hound had a gun aimed at the back of his head. 

???: That's far enough. 

The Shadow Hound looked behind him to see a pale human woman standing behind him with a blaster pistol. 

Shadow Hound: I take it that you're Wraith?

Wraith: And you must be the infamous Shadow Hound.

Shadow Hound: I see my reputation proceeds me. I'm gonna take a guess and say you know why I'm here?

Wraith: You're here to kill our Commander and end his crusade. 

Shadow Hound: That's right....

The Shadow Hound then turns around and attacks Wraith, knocking the blaster pistol out of her hand. A brawl ensued between the Shadow Hound and Wraith. As the Shadow Hound pressed the attack, Wraith lands a swift kick to the Shadow Hound's stomach and trips his feet, sending him to the ground. Before Wraith could press the attack, the Shadow Hound fires a round into the wall behind him. The shot then ricochets around the area and grazes her hair. Wraith was unfazed by the attack as she attacked the Shadow Hound with shoulder mounted blades. 

Shadow Hound: Not bad, but I'm better. 

As the Shadow Hound pressed the attack, Wraith continued to demonstrate impressive skill against the bounty hunter. It took him by surprise to see Wraith holding her own against him. When the Shadow Hound moved to land the finishing strike, Wraith blocked his attacks and followed by sheathing her shoulder mounted blades and landed several devastating strikes. Wraith soon had the Shadow Hound pinned to the ground. 

Shadow Hound: Son of a....

Wraith: Your transgressions end here, bounty hunter. I hope the blood money was worth it. 

As Wraith prepared to kill the Shadow Hound, a voice spoke out. 

???: Stop.

The Shadow Hound looked up to see a man wearing military armor. His face was covered by a helmet. 

Wraith: Yes, Commander. 

Commander: I'm sure this one has plenty to say. Prepare him for interrogation. 

Wraith: Yes, sir. 

As Wraith said this, she complied with the Commander's orders. Wraith then proceeds to knock out the Shadow Hound. In that moment, the most infamous bounty hunter in Atmos had been taken prisoner by the Last Battalion. But what the Shadow Hound didn't know was that he would soon learn that he shared a connection with the Commander that was tied to his past.
