While rocking Timmy, I get another contraction and I bite my bottom lip and hold my breath. He eventually falls asleep and Timothy is watching me closely.
"What?"
"You're a beautiful mother."
"Thank you, I joined the convent instead."
And I'm glad I did....
I get up and Timothy grabs him and takes him to his room. I walk down the hall and see Kit and Grace making out and I clear my throat.
"Cut it- AAHH." A strong contraction hits, making me fall to my knees, my veil falls off. They both run to me and help me up. I need to lay down, my back and hips ache.
"Are you okay?"
"Do I look okay?" I say, my hair in my face.
Lana walks in and grabs my veil.
"Come on Jude."
"I'm watching you two!"
Lana walks me to the stairs and I groan.
"I-I-I can't make it up there." I say in a pained voice.
"Jude, You can't have a baby right here!" She whispers.
"I'm going to have to!"
"You're a nun!"
"I'm gonna pop it out here! I don't care if I lose my job!"
"Why would you lose your job?" Mother Claudia asks. Shit shit shit.
"Could I- ahh- see you in my office Mother?"
"Sure Jude, are you okay?"
"I'd be better if I didn't have to climb these stairs." I mumble. I pull myself up the stairs and by the time I get up the stairs I'm exhausted and in severe pain. I unlock my door and hold it for her.
I sit down and sigh.  Think of a lie Jude. Think. Think.
"Mother Claudia, I was- ahh- raped and I was impregnated." 
"Oh Jude. Why didn't you tell me?"
"I felt dirty and used." I say breathlessly.
"What are we gonna do?"
"I'm in labor."
"What about the church?"
"I wanna stay in the church and raise the child in the orphanage."
"Jude, What will I tell the council?"
"Nothing, please sister just act like this baby was dropped off here."
"Alright, but I want to see this child."
I stand up and unbutton my habit.
"Oh my."
"Thank you sister for agreeing not to say anything."
"Anything for my favorite sister."
"Let me walk you out."
"Alright." I walk with her slowly down the steps and get a contraction half way down.
"Ahh!"
"Are you okay?"
"Yes, fine." I walk down the rest and hug and kiss her cheek.
"That was close."
