Durante el Halloween de 1978 ocurrió una terrible tragedia que marcó el inicio de algo sobrenatural en el tranquilo pueblo de Ignacia, ya que después de la misteriosa masacre de la familia Smith han comenzado ocurrir nuevas amenazas entre las sombras, ya que después de que Kai Smith, el hijo mayor de la familia Smith asesinara a toda su familia e incendiara su hogar dejando viva solamente a su hermana menor Nya Smith fue llevado a un centro psiquiátrico para después ser llevado a una prisión de máxima seguridad. Pero después de un tiempo Nya comenzó a vivir con una nueva familia y comenzó a formarse una vida normal sin saber del terrible pasado de su familia. Pero todo cambia en el Halloween, ya que una misteriosa sociedad fanática busca asesinar a Nya, pero no solo eso, ya que su hermano mayor Kai escapa de la prisión y busca a su hermana. Sin embargo muchas cosas no son lo que parecen, ya que durante el trascurso de la noche, Nya descubre que su hermano no causo la masacre de su familia, y de que su sacrificio será solo la principal causa de liberar algo más oscuro y que solamente se lleva a cabo durante la noche de Halloween. Y después de sobrevivir la noche deberá de estar alerta ya que para la siguiente noche de Halloween nueva mente la buscaran a ella y a Kai para completar el objetivo de aquella malévola sociedad. Ahora todo depende de Nya para poder salvar a su nueva familia de algo peligrosamente sobrenatural.
