Ray y Maya le han estado ocultando un gran secreto a sus hijos, al igual que a sus antiguos amigos. Y eso se debía que hace mucho tiempo Ray y Maya vivían en un reino diferente a Ninjago, ya que en su reino las familias de ambo estaba dividida por numerosas disputas. Y para no ser parte de su guerra familiar Ray y Maya huyeron de su reino y se olvidaron de toda relación o responsabilidad con sus familias, ya que comenzaron una nueva vida en Ninjago y como maestros elementales. Pero después de un tiempo sus familias encuentran Ninjago y en vez de llevarse a Ray o Maya, se llevan a Kai y a Nya a su reino. Ahora deberán de enfrentarse de una vez por todas a sus familias si quieren rescatar a sus hijos de sus asuntos familiares conflictivos. Y más aún si quieren salvar a su reino de una inevitable guerra que podría destruir a todo el reino.

"Fire and Water"

Ray and Maya have been keeping a great secret from their children, as well as from their old friends. And that was because a long time ago Ray and Maya lived in a different kingdom than Ninjago, since in their kingdom the families of both were divided by numerous disputes. And in order not to be part of their family war Ray and Maya fled their kingdom and forgot about any relationship or responsibility with their families, as they began a new life in Ninjago and as elemental teachers. But after a while their families find Ninjago and instead of taking Ray or Maya, they take Kai and Nya to their kingdom. Now they must confront their families once and for all if they want to rescue their children from their troubled family affairs. And even more so if they want to save their kingdom from an inevitable war that could destroy the entire kingdom.
