Temiendo por su padre, Kai llega al castillo para encontrar a su padre y al hacerlo se ofrece como prisionero de la bestia serpiente, quien se llama Skylor, a cambio de que su padre sea libre. Cuando Skylor aceptó la propuesta de Kai, el joven campesino comenzó a vivir en el castillo y descubrió que todo dentro de aquel castillo está encantando, incluyendo los sirvientes y la misma Skylor, y para acabar con el hechizo es necesario que Kai y Skylor se enamoren y puedan romper el hechizo. ¿Pero quién podría ser capaz de amar a una bestia serpiente?
