En el país de Ninjago se vive una revolución, la cual inicio luego de que usurparan el trono del antiguo emperador de Ninjago, luego de estos eventos se inició un largo tiempo de tiranía en todo el país. Es por eso que desde las sombras existe el credo secreto de los Assasins, quienes por años han tratado de derrotar el largo reinado de la familia que usurpo el trono de Ninjago y de sus aliados. Aunque se esconden entre las sombras, la gente cree que el Credo de los Assasins es un mito. Kai Smith es un simple y humilde herrero que trata de vivir su vida con normalidad aun estando al merced de la pobreza y la esclavitud. Luego de que su hermana fuera capturada con otros rebeldes de la revolución, Kai debe de unirse al legendario credo de asesinos si quiere recuperar a su hermana, pero puede que su iniciación en el credo sea cosa del mismo destino ya que ahora Kai no solo se embarca en un viaje para recuperar a su hermana, sino también en un viaje de autodescubrimiento con el deber de salvar a todo Ninjago y encontrar al legítimo heredero del trono del país de Ninjago.

In the country of Ninjago there is a revolution, which began after they usurped the throne of the former emperor of Ninjago. After these events, a long period of tyranny began throughout the country. That is why from the shadows exists the secret creed of the Assassins, who for years have tried to defeat the long reign of the family that usurped the throne of Ninjago and its allies. Although they hide in the shadows, people believe that Assassin's Creed is a myth. Kai Smith is a simple and humble blacksmith who tries to live his life normally despite being at the mercy of poverty and slavery. After his sister was captured with other rebels of the revolution, Kai must join the legendary assassin's creed if he wants to recover his sister, but his initiation into the creed may be a matter of the same fate, since now Kai not only embarks on a journey to get his sister back, but also on a journey of self-discovery with the duty of saving all of Ninjago and finding the rightful heir to the throne of the country of Ninjago.
