Después de los acontecimientos de la batalla final y de que los ninjas comenzaran a vivir en el nuevo monasterio del Sensei Garmadon y del Sensei Wu parecía que todos comenzaron a vivir una vida pacifica sin tantos crímenes en la ciudad. Pero todo cambia cuando una banda criminal es detenida por los ninjas en su propia guarida, pero estos la hacen explotar para eliminar evidencias de su red criminal dejando a Kai gravemente herido y al borde de la muerte después de ser alcanzado por la explosión, para poder salvar su vida Zane le construye un nuevo cuerpo idéntico al suyo y transmite su conciencia al nuevo cuerpo, pero eso provoco que sus recuerdos desaparezcan y que parecía que había vuelto a nacer. Ahora los ninjas deberán de orientar a su hermano renacido y detener de una vez la banda criminal.

"Kai: A New Beginning"

After the events of the final battle and the ninjas starting to live in Sensei Garmadon's and Sensei Wu's new monastery it seemed that they all began to live a peaceful life without so much crime in the city. But everything changes when a criminal gang is stopped by the ninjas in their own lair, but they blow it up to eliminate evidence of their criminal network leaving Kai seriously injured and on the verge of death after being hit by the explosion, in order to save his life Zane builds a new body identical to his and transmits his consciousness to the new body, but that caused his memories to disappear and it seemed that he had been born again. Now the ninjas must guide their reborn brother and stop the criminal gang once and for all.
