Kai y Nya son dos hermanos que lo perdieron todo luego de que la ciudad de Ninjago hiciera un golpe de estado contra las demás ciudades luego del descubrimiento de la extraña energía mágica a la cual llamaron "Arcadia", una guerra civil y casi genocida se desato por el mundo pero luego de que todo acabara y crearon una nueva era de paz, los dos hermanos se encontraron solos contra el mundo y tratando de sobrevivir junto con su guardián Garmadon en la ciudad subterránea que se encuentra debajo de Ninjago como unos fugitivos de la ley. Pero luego de que un nuevo terrorista aparece con magia Arcadiana corrompida el caos nuevamente vuelve a reinar en el mundo haciendo que muy pronto se inicie un nuevo levantamiento revolucionario. Luego de que el caos se desatara Kai y Nya son separados trágicamente, Kai fue llevado a la ciudad de Ninjago como prisionero y Nya fue rescatada por los rebeldes de la ciudad subterránea. Ahora estos dos hermanos harán hasta lo imposible por detener la nueva amenaza que se encuentra en el mundo y trataran de reencontrase nuevamente.

Kai and Nya are two brothers who lost everything after the city of Ninjago made a coup against the other cities after the discovery of the strange magical energy that they called "Arcadia", a civil war and almost genocidal unleashed around the world but after everything was over and they created a new era of peace, the two brothers found themselves alone against the world and trying to survive together with their guardian Garmadon in the underground city below Ninjago as fugitives from the law. But after a new terrorist appears with corrupted Arcadian magic, chaos once again reigns in the world causing a new revolutionary uprising to begin very soon. After chaos broke out, Kai and Nya were tragically separated, Kai was taken to Ninjago City as a prisoner and Nya was rescued by the rebels from the underground city. Now these two brothers will do everything they can to stop the new threat that is in the world and will try to meet again.
