The next day you got ready to head out to Yoongi's studio; everyone was gathering there for an intimate celebration of Yoongi's accomplishments in the music industry.
You got ready and waited for Taehyung to do so as well.

"Are you ready?" He asked you while buttoning the cufflinks.

"Yeah".

You exited together without saying a word to eachother. You haven't spoken since your fight the other day.

Taehyung opened the car door for you before sitting in himself.

You drove in silence for a couple of minutes before arriving. Just as you were about to head out, he stopped you.

"I broke up with Yuna".

"You did?" you raised an eyebrow, caught by surprise.

"Yes. You were right. I can't be with someone who disrespects and speakS ill of my son or you".

"You don't have to do anything for me, Taehyung".

"No I know but I can't be with her. She's bad news and I need to focus on you two. You were right about everything you said the other day and I am sorry for what happened. I promise I'll be better from now on".

"Thank you. I appreaciate it. Really" you gave him a soft smile "We will make this work Tae". He nodded and vaguely smiled.

"Now lets go inside. Everyone has already arrived" you said before exiting the car.

"You look beautiful tonight in that dress" Taehyung's cheeks tinted as he was complimenting you. The awkwardness an the shyness resembled the time when you had just started to go out.

"Thank you" your lips curved upwards "You look handsome too".

He smiled, lowering his gaze down before holding the entrance door for you.
Once inside, you met with everyone. Jungkook was already there, sipping his drink and talking to Hoseok. Upon entering you gave him a small nod and a half smile. He smiled at you too before returning to focus on Hoseok.

"Hi guys" Yoongi greeted you.

"Hi" you gave him a hug.

"Now that everyone is here will you finally play us the songs you've been working on?" Jimin asked.

"In a moment guys" Yoongi said "First, I wanted to thank all of you for coming here tonight. I know maybe it's not wise to celebrate in advance but I wanted all of you to hear the project I've been working on for the last couple of months".

"Conquering the US's music charts? I think that's enough reason to celebrate, even if it doesn't go the way you've imagined. You've worked hard on it, you deserve it" Namjoon said.

"Hm, yeah" Yoongi rubbed his neck.

"Aw, look at him! He's blushing" Jimin started to giggle.

"Shut up, Jimin" Yoongi cut him off embarrassed, making everyone laugh.

"I still can't believe that you've produced for such big names in the music industry. Do me a favor and don't forget about us when you get rich and famous in the states" Hoseok said.

"Yeah. Anyway, as I said it might be too early to celebrate but regardless of how it goes I still appreaciate you guys coming here to support me...It means a lot so...thank you, I guess" Yoongi was obviously too shy and uncomfortable which made the entire thing even more adorable.

"We love you too, hyung" Jimin raised his glass "to Yoongi".

"To Yoongi" everyone cheered with a glass of champagne.

Yoongi played you the stuff that he was working on. The whole thing lasted an hour or so. In between songs and after, he would ask you for opinions and you would talk about music with him. After it had finished, you guys made a toast with another glass of alcohol, congratulating him on his good work. Then, he let it play again as everyone mingled among themselves.

Onccasionally, you would glance in Jungkook's direction, just to make sure he was still there. A part of you didn't want to let him go just yet and was afraid that he would leave without saying goodbye.

"Y/n? Are you there?" Jisoo called for your attention.

"Hm? Yeah. Sorry. What were you saying?".

"Just go talk to him" Jisoo rolled her eyes.

"I'm not talking about this. Ever again" you warned her.

"Fine. As you wish. How are you feeling today? You seem a little bit pale" she said changing the topic.

"Fine, I just have some lower back pain. Guess that's normal" you massaged your back.

"Oh yeah. It happened to me all the time" Jisoo reassured you.

"Yeah. I know" you face contorted as you massaged your back "Its fine. Anyway, Tae and Yuna broke up" you informed her.

"Really?".

You nodded. "he told me on the way here".

"Finally! I'm glad that's over. Now that Namjoon had her fired and that she and Tae broke up we don't have to see her ugly face again".

"Namjoon fired her?" you asked.

"Of course. After the scene she caused? It was a given that they would give her the sack".

"Good.I'm glad he fired her".

"They all did" Jisoo corrected you.

"All of them?".

Jisoo nodded "Namjoon, Jungkook and Taehyung met and discussed it. The agreed to let her go".

"When did this happen?".

"Oh for crying out loud, does it matter?!" Jisoo was starting to loose her patience with you " the important thing is that she's gone for good".

You glanced at Jungkook; you asked yourself if it was thanks to him that it had happened. He caught you looking at him, making you instantly look away. You then sifted your gaze to Taehyung; could it be Tae's idea to fire Yuna?

You sighed, thinking about the compliment Taehyung gave you that night. You didn't know what to think of it, you didn't know what to make of the situation. For a fraction, a mere second, the tought of getting back with Taehyung crossed your mind. Could he do it? Could you?

Your lips twisted in pain when you felt your back throb even more. It was rather unusual but it could be because you were wearing heeled boots that night. For the first time in forever.

"Y/n, are you okay?" Hoseok came to you.

"I'm fine, my back is killing me though. Could you bring me a glass of water maybe?".

"Sure" Hoseok went to grab you something to drink.

"Thank you" you said when he came back.

"Hyung, do you still play the piano?" Jimin noticed the piano in Yoongi's studio.

"Now and then. I don't have the time" Yoongi answered.

"Yoongi-ah, play us something" Jin said.

"No. Not today. I'm pretty rusty" Yoongi dismissed him.

"Oh I'm sure you know how to play something" Jimin said.

"No".

"Come on!".

"Jungkook-ah!" Yoongi called for Jungkook "come and play something on the piano".

"What? Why?" Jungkook asked confused.

"Because they keep harassing me to play. You're far a batter pianist than I am" he pushed him towards the piano "And while you're at it, sing us something".

Reluctantly, Jungook sat at the piano. Yoongi stopped his music and encouraged him to start playing.

"But I haven't rehearsed anything in months" Jungkook tried to save himself.

"I'm sure you'll do fine".

"There's just one song that I remember how to play" Jungkook hesitated a bit.

"Perfect" Hoseok said, joining the bunch.

Jungkook inhaled deeply before placing his fingers on the keys. Everyone slowly gathered at the piano, waiting for Jungkook to begin.

"I'm sure everyone remembers this song. What you don't know is that I also wrote the melody for it. Arranged it to fit the piano". He looked nervous.

His fingers began to move across the keyboard.

You felt your heart crumble as soon as Jungkook's words reached you. You recognized those words, how could you not?
Although you heard it only once, those words and the meaning behind them left a permanent mark on you. It was Jungkook's way of opening up to you, of sharing with the world how he felt about you.

Everything's getting blurry""

You were remembering it vividly. The first time you heard those words. You were at Jungkook's, cooking dinner. Suddenly you were back there, reviving those memories like they happened yesterday.

It was strange. How your body would remember even though so much time had passed. You felt every touch of his on your skin. You felt his hands on your waist and his breath on your lips. You were there, finding comfort in the nook of his neck. It was a simple moment. So simple. In that simple moment he had his arms wrapped around you and you let your head rest upon his chest. Jungkook's words weaved together and showed his deep truths; what he is, what is beautiful about him, came from deep within.

All of your thoughts stopped and your heart took over when your eyes met.

He watched a tear run down your cheek and fought the urge to go up to you. You on the other hand were starting to loose yourself. You weren't ready to say goodbye to him. Not yet. Not like that.

Your head started to pound as the throbbing in your back kept worsening. You started to breathe heavily, completely loosing the grip on yourself. You didn't know what was happening to you, why you were having such a strong reaction.

"Ah!" your face twistend in agony.

"Y/n, whats wrong?" Taehyung asked.

"I'm fine".

"You're not fine" Taehyung said. As soon as he said that you felt a sharp pain in your abdomen, causing you to let go of the glass on your hand. It hit the floor, shattering in pieces.

"I...I..." you breathed out before collapsing on the ground.

"Y/n!" Taehyung reahed for you, pulling you up on his lap.

"Oh my God!" Jisoo dropped on the floor near you, holding your hand as your whole body twisted in pain.

"Y/n!" Jungkook jumped to you. "What the fuck is happening?!" he screamed at Taehyung.

"I don't know!" Taehyung was pale as a ghost. He froze on the spot, not knowing what to do.
Everyone tried to help as fear grew among them.

"Give her some space!" Jin yelled "Hoseok call an ambulance! Now!".

In all of that commotion, you managed to lock eyes with Jungkook.

"J...JungKook..." your breath was weak.

"I'm here" Jungkook grabbed your hand with his.

"I...I..." but you couldn't finish the sentence before everything went black.

"Y/n? Y/n, answer me!" Jungkook tried to wake you up but couldn't "Hoseok call the fucking ambulance. Now!".

"I'm trying to get a hold of them!" Hoseok screamed back while panicking.

"Y/n" Jisoo called for you. "Oh God she's bleeding!" Jisoo's eyes grew when she noticed the pool of blood forming underneath you.

"No no no! Y/n!" Jungkook held you by your cheeks "The fuck is wrong with you!? Do something!" he shook Taehyung who couldn't take his eyes off of the blood that was soaking his clothes under you.

He regained consciousness as soon as the paramedics arrived.

They rushed in, clearing the room before strapping you in and carrying you out.

Jungkook didn't waist a second and immediately followed you into the ambulance.

"I'm sorry Sir but you can't come with us, familiars only" the nurse warned him.

"I'm the father of the baby" Taehyung came through, climbing in. The paramedics let him in before closing the doors and driving off.

Jungkook looked down at his hands covered in blood before getting dragged by Hoseok to his car. Soon, all of them met at the hospital where you were.
Jungkook rushed in, not caring for the warnings of the staff there.

"Sir. Sir! May I ask where are you going? This is a restricted area, you can't be in here!"

"Where is she? Let me pass" he shook the nurse off of him and passed by her.

"Sir! I'm going to ask once again to leave or otherwise I'm calling security!" the nurse threatened him.

"Jungkook, where is she?" Jisoo, Hoseok and Jin ran inside, quickly followed by Namjoon, Yoongi and Jimin.

"Okay people, I'm going to ask you to clear this hallway, you can't be in here" the nurse was getting agitated "If you're asking for the girl that has been brought in just now then I'm going to ask you to wait outside".

"We can't. We want to know what's happening to her" Jisoo said.

"I'm afraid that I can't tell you anything at this moment. You're going to have to wait".

"I'm not going to fucking wait. I'm going in right now and fiding out what's going on" Jungkook passed through.

"Sir, I'm not going to repeat myself again. Either you wait in the waiting room or I'm kicking you out and not letting you in or anywhere near this hospital, is that clear?".

"Come Jungkook. Come on, let's wait" Jisoo grabbed him by his forearm.

"I promise you that I'm going to inform you as soon as I find out something" the nurse's tone softened a bit while talking to Jungkook. Without saying anything, Jungkook walked back to the waiting room he passed by earlier, followed by everyone else.

For the next two hours or so, nobody said a word.

"Jungkook?" Jisoo broke the silence. She called for him from across the room. He was standing, leaning with his arms and his forehead against the wall; he's been standing like that since he'd arrived.

"Jungkook?" she tried again.

Seeing that he wasn't responding, she went to him.

"Jungkook" she placed her arm on his shoulder "Everything is going to be alright" she tried to cheer him up even though herself was finding it hard to believe her words.

"How can you possibly know that?" Jungkook muttered, facing the wall still.

"Because she has to".

Jungkook scoffed. "If you don't have anything smart to say don't speak to me" he turned around and passed by Jisoo.

"Hey! She's trying to make you feel better. Calm the fuck down" Jin intervened when he saw the way Jungkook was treating his wife.

"Calm down? Calm down?!" Jungkook raised his voice " Y/n is somewhere in there" he pointed at the restricted area " fighting for her life and you expect me to just sit here like the rest of you and do nothing?!".

"There's nothing you can do" Hoseok said "All you can do is to sit over here and hope for the best".

Jungkook looked at him baffled. He had never felt that kind of fear before. He tought he knew what fear felt like. When you're so afraid that your actions become erratic and escalate, when your heart starts to pound really fast and your breath quickens. But this was something entirely different. Panic felt painful.Physically painful. His brain couldn't comprehend from how far deep the pain was coming from.
Jungkook felt terrified like never before.

Just as he as about to storm in the doctor came out, making Jungkook almost loose his balance.
Everyone stood up and sorrunded the doctor, waiting for news on you.

"How's Y/n?" Jimin asked.

"She is fine. Stable now" as soon as those words left his mouth, the entire room felt relieved.

"And the baby? What happened?" Jisoo asked.

The doctor hesitated before answering " Y/n went into a septic shock due to a stillbirth".

"What? What does that mean?" Hoseok asked.

"It means that she contracted and infection that caused sepsis due to the miscarriage that she had" the doctor paused " The fetus inside of her died a couple of weeks ago and normally when that happens the body would naturally initiate and early labor but in Y/n's case it never happened. Due to that she developed an infection which spread into her blood flow, causing sepsis" he paused " If the fetus dies after the twenty-fourth week of pregnancy then it is know as a stillbirth. Usually when it happens labor may accour naturally or is induced. Either way the woman goes into labor. In Y/n's case we had a cesarian...I'm so very sorry but there's nothing we could have done for the baby. It was already too late".
