It was now night and all nine of you gathered around to sing a happy birthday song to Yoongi.
The clock had just hit midnight making it officially March 9th, his birthday.
Yoongi thanked all of you before blowing the candles on the cake that Jimin had decorated earlier.

"Did you make a birthday wish?" Jimin asked him lovingly.
"Yes, I wished to take off this stupid hat of yours" Yoongi touched the birthday hat that he had on his head.
"Don't you dare take that off, Yoongi" Jimin furrowed his brows "You look cute" he clapped his hands before sitting in Yoongi's lap and giving him a hug.
"Get off" Yoongi tried to shake him off but Jimin wouldn't move.

All of you were sitting in a circle, around a fire that the boys struggled to keep lit.
Jisoo was sitting next to you, on your left side. Jungkook was on your right.
For the whole day the only thing you could think about was the conversation you had this morning; what if Jungkook had behaved differently the first time you met him? What if you had met him first? What if he had made a move on you back then?

Would everything be different now?

You sighed as questions kept popping up in your head.
You dared to ask yourself the question.

Would you be with him now instead of Taehyung?

Could you picture yourself with him?
As your mind began to imagine what would that look like a shivering sensation spread all over your body.
You pictured yourself with Jungkook.

You asked yourself how would his lips feel against yours. How would his fingers feel on your skin, how would his touches feel on your body.
You tilted your head to observe his profile better.
Your eyes focused on his lips, moving as he was speaking with the others. You imagined those lips on your neck, travelling down your skin to the valley of your breasts.
Your gaze moved down, to his neck.
You gulped once you noticed his Adam's apple go up and down while he laughed. You wanted to kiss his neck so badly.
The sound of his voice made you tremble with desire and the way he'd always lick his lips before speaking could send you off the edge.

Suddenly you felt dizzy. Your head started to spin making you feel lightheaded.
You got up, catching everyone's attention.

"Is everything alright Y/n?" Jisoo's concerned voice reached you.
Taehyung instantly stiffened at the sight of you.
"I feel a little dizzy. I think I'm going to lie down" you said while walking to your RV.
Taehyung immediately followed you in.

"Is everything alright? Y/n?" there was concern in his voice.
"Yeah, everything's okay" you lied while resting your arms on the kitchen counter while facing away from him.

You weren't okay. It was like someone had punched you in the stomach, making you gasp for air.
You felt your chest tighten as your breath became quicker and shallower.
You felt embarrassed. Embarrassed for even allowing yourself to think about Jungkook in that way, not when you were in a relationship.

You were disgusted by yourself as your thoughts landed on Taehyung; you couldn't imagine the pain that he'd fell, that you'd cause him if he found out.
A sense of shame took over your body before touring around to face him.

"I just have a light headache. I'm going to take an aspirin and go to bed" you forced a smile.
"Are you sure you're fine?" Taehyung was standing at the entrance looking at you.
"Yes, I am" you nodded slightly as you smiled once more.

"Do you want me to stay with you?".

"No. Go ahead and have fun with the guys. I promise you I'll be fine" you reassured him before giving him a quick peck on the lips.
You watched him exit the RV before going to your room. You lay on top of the covers on your side, facing away from the door. You brought your legs closer to your chest, trying not to think about anything before dozing off.

After what it seemed to you like minutes you heard the door open.
A shadow had formed on the opposite wall, the one which you were facing.
You slowly turned on your back to see him better.

"Jungkook?".

"How are you?" Jungkook asked you as he sat on the bed.

"Better" you admitted "How long did I sleep?".

"A couple of hours. We're now going to bed as well and I wanted to check up on you" Jungkook rubbed his neck.

"That's sweet" you admitted "But I'm fine, just needed some rest".

"You're awake" Taehyung entered the small room as well "I came to check up on you a while ago but you were asleep. How are you feeling?" he said before giving Jungkook a glance.

"Fine. Just sleepy" you smiled.

"It is pretty late. I was about to get ready to go to bed as well" Taehyung said.
"Jungkook, I think it's time for you to go to your RV. Let Y/n rest" Taehyung smiled but you could sense the tension in his voice.

"Yes, of course" Jungkook scratched his cheek "Don't die on me Y/n, okay?" he gently squeezed you by your calf making Taehyung roll his eyes.

"Rest and you'll be fine by tomorrow" he winked at you before getting up and leaving the room.

"He really seems to care about you" Taehyung lifted an eyebrow.
"yes, we're friends".

Taehyung flicked his tongue against his teeth.
"What?" you asked.
"Nothing. Let's sleep".

You were woken up by the heavy sound of rain falling against the window.
You reached your phone charging; it was 7 am. You turned your head to take a glance of Taehyung; he was peacefully sleeping beside you, on his left side.
It was still early but you didn't feel sleepy. You had an actual good night's sleep and you wondered if it was due to the fresh forest air.

You yawned before getting up slowly, careful not to wake Taehyung up.
You quickly put your sweatpants and your hoodie on and went to freshen yourself up before getting a cup of tea.
The RV was silent; not a sight of Jin or Jisoo.
You decided to savor your hot beverage outside so you took your parka as you held your phone and your tea with one hand and your book with the other and exited the vehicle.
The morning breeze mixed with the rain made you inhale deeply.

You were the first one to get up.
You sat under the built-in tent on the RV.
You held your tea with both hands, trying to warm yourself a little bit before bringing it to your lips.
The hot steam warmed you up making your nose runny.
Your gaze travelled across the spacious lake in front of you as rain drops disturbed the surface.
You found that pretty relaxing as you got lost in your thoughts.
The silence mixed with the sound of rain was therapeutic to you.

Your mind travelled back to your home country, back to your family; your eyes saddened once you remembered them.
It was almost six months since you've decided to move to South Korea and you haven't seen them since then.
You sighed as you brought the cup to your lips again.
You couldn't believe it was already six months. Time flew since you moved.
Well...I guess time flies when you're having fun.

And you were; you had an amazing fun job which made you always occupied.
You were finally physically close to your best friend in so long and you've met through her a loving boyfriend and a caring group of people.
You smiled.

You were so grateful for the people you had in your life.
You were genuinely happy when you were around them and truly proud you could call them your friends.
You cared for all of them; they've proved to you that you can find humble, genuine people who'll love and support you and call you their friend.
True, you've bonded with ones more than others but you cherished them all.

"Morning Y/n" Yoongi's voice reached you.
"Morning" you smiled.
"How are you feeling today?" he asked you while grabbing a chair and bringing it closer to you, under the tent.
"I'm fine, thanks for asking. Did you sleep well?"
" Not really" Yoongi tilted his head "I worked till late"
"You have to let me listen one of your latest works" you smiled enthusiastically at him.
"Well...I can let you listen one of my finished tracks" Yoongi responded while sipping his morning coffee "I'll bring the laptop out later and then we could listen"
"Perfect" you smiled.

"Morning" Namjoon joined Yoongi and you as well.
"Do you like it?" Namjoon noticed the book you had in your lap.
"I'm still on the first half but I love it so far" you picked up the book with one hand "You have an incredible taste"
"Thank you Y/n. It means a lot" Namjoon smiled at you "Maybe I could recommend more books on similar topics"
"Once I've finished this yeah sure...why not".

You chatted with Namjoon and Yoongi for a couple of hours; Yoongi played his songs for you on his laptop which you found amazing and Namjoon discussed philosophy with you.
You swore you could listen to him talk for hours; you found his knowledge on various topics inspiring.

Around 10 am Jisoo and Jin woke up as well, joining you outside.
All of you sat in a circle as the rain stopped. The clouds started to clear, making room for the first ray of sunshine.
The next to wake up was Hoseok followed by Taehyung.
He dragged and sat on a chair near you.

"Good morning" he leaned in for a peck on the lips "I didn't hear you get up. At what time did you wake up?".
"Early, around 7am" you responded. Taehyung nodded.
"Are you okay today?" he asked you.
"Perfectly fine" you smiled at him.
And you were. That day you woke up relieved.

You completely ignored the thoughts that you had the night before, blaming them on the alcohol you drank.
It was crazy. That whole idea was crazy.
You couldn't let yourself think that way ever. Not once again.
Jungkook was your friend, nothing more. Taehyung was your boyfriend and deserved your undivided attention.

At the same time, Jungkook joined the group as well.
You were thankful that your heart didn't skip a beat and your breath didn't quicken at the sight of him.
Or at least that's what you were telling yourself.

"Are you actually reading that?" Jungkook pointed at your book while smiling cheekily.
The question made you chuckle.

"At least I'm trying" you lifted a brow "Which isn't something you could say about yourself" you said with a playful tone.

"I never claimed I read books" Jungkook licked distractingly his bottom lip "You're the one pretending here" he added laughing. The sound of his laugher made you giggle as well.

"Y/n actually reads books. She loves them" Taehyung interjected while placing the palm of his hand on your leg.
"Yeah...I bet" was the only thing Jungkook said while still looking at you.
He was in the mood for teasing you that day. He was always in the mood for joking and flirting with you.

Meanwhile, Taehyung didn't like the tone you two were using when speaking to each other.
He was always tense when it came to Jungkook and you. And he didn't know why; all he knew was that he had this unexplainable feeling every time you two spoke or looked at each other. And it wasn't just jealousy. No, it was turning slowly into something palpable, something that he'd picked up upon but you two didn't; and he prayed it would stay that way.

"Morning everyone" Jimin's raspy voice reached you.
He was the last one to get up.
He rubbed his eyes as he sat in Jungkook's lap; wrapping his arms around Jungkook's neck before making himself smaller on the spot due to de cold air.
He lifted his legs up as well and you asked yourself how could a man make himself so small to fit whole onto another's man lap.

Jungkook embraced him without batting an eye, like it was the most natural thing for them.
And it was; you loved how close they all were and the way they all expressed their feelings openly to one another. Their relationships were beautiful, you felt you could just observe all of them interact for the whole day.

"Jimin-ah! We all waited for you to get up so that we could decide what to eat" Jin scolded him.
As hours passed hunger grew among all of you.
"Does that mean that you haven't prepared anything?" Jimin whined.

Jin looked at him bewildered.
"Jimin-ah!" Jin continued "You can't expect to always get up last and avoid all the work".
"I'll do the dishes. I promise this time" Jimin quickly added.
Jungkook gave him the side-eye.
"Jimin-ssi, if you make me clean instead of you once again I swear I'll throw you into the lake". Jungkook warned him.
"Sorry" Jimin scrunched his nose while giving him a timid smile " It won't happen today" he rested his forehead on Jungkook's cheek "I'll make Taetae do it".
"Not a chance" Taehyung cut him off immediately, making you laugh.

Taehyung's eyes sparkled when he heard your giggles. He loved the way you laughed.

"I think it's only fair to make today's meal at Jin's request" you said " As a thank you for always feeding us so well" you made Jin's ear turn red.

"No no" Jin waved his hands "It's not necessary" he said embarrassed.
"Oh but I insist" you looked at him "It will be fun. Who wants to help?".

As soon as you said that everybody suddenly scattered around, seeming too busy to help you.

"Guys! Come on" you whined.
"Jimin?"
"Sorry Y/n but no" Jimin ran inside the RV.
"Tae?"
"Honey I love you but you're going to make lunch without me" Taehyung gave you an apologetic smile.
"Anyone?" you looked around. "Namjoon?"
"For the love of God don't let Joon help" Yoongi scoffed amused "I'll help you" he then added.
"Thank you Yoongi. You're my new favorite person"
"I'll help you too" Hoseok said.
"Fantastic" you clapped your hands "let's get to work"
"Ehm...Y/n? What are we making?" Hoseok scratched his head.
"No idea".
