Ok so I read that this is how they reveal the team in a swimming magazine and even if it isn't I like it because just reading off the names is so boring😘

I might die of anticipation. We were all waiting for the team results. We were standing on the pool deck and in part of the stands, while the rest of the stands were packed with spectators and thousands more people were watching around the country. I took a deep breath which did nothing for me nerves. They started having us in alphabetical order but that order dissolved quickly. I was standing next to Sammy, well more like pacing near him while he sat on the ground crosslegged with his eyes closed. I couldn't sit still. I walked over to where Ava was sitting with Emma, Jackson, and her parents. The hospital gave her permission to come to this because she was mostly ok but she couldn't swim or run for a while. Ava put her hand on my shoulder, "my best friend, I love you, but you need to calm down." I looked at her, "do you know me?" She rolled her eyes and smiled. "Ok, but at least go back there and wait with Sammy. The next time you come over here it had better be because you're celebrating getting in the team." She sounded so sure I'd get in. I have her a tight smile, "ok." I walked back over to Sammy as the head official stepped up to a makeshift podium and the noise quieted. "Ladies and gentlemen you could've been anywhere in the world tonight but you're here with us in New York City! Omaha Nebraska to observe the newest team U.S.A members." Water started flowing down the back wall. The first names began appearing on the wall with the head official announcing them as they came up. "Missy Franklin. Ryan Lochte..."
