Jeonghan and Wonwoo were walking through the hallway while holding coffee in their hands. It was when Seungcheol and Mingyu passed by them, and of course, Jeonghan stumbled against Seungcheol.
"Shit, I'm sorry." Jeonghan apologized immediately but halfheartedly.
"You just have to get on my nerves, somehow." Seungcheol rolled his eyes.
"I apologized, Mr. Choi. It was just a mistake-"
"Yeah and may I know why are you always making these mistakes, somehow?" Seungcheol raised a brow, "I've started to think that you do this intentionally."
"Always? When did I make a mistake earlier, Mr. Choi?" Jeonghan frowned, "Please enlighten me?"
"I don't have time to argue with you, just get to work already instead of chilling in the hallways. You probably don't want me to deduct your salary." Seungcheol sighed as he walked into the cabin followed by Mingyu.
Jeonghan clenched his teeth as he and Wonwoo began to walk away slowly, "I swear I've never seen a jerk like him."
"Calm down hyung-" Wonwoo patted his arm.
"What calm down?" Jeonghan halted, "Only if he knew how much hard-work it takes to earn on your own rather than hiring your dad's company, then he would have been much more humble. He's such an arrogant bitch, arghh I hate this freaking egoistic man. I doubt if he even knows an inch of office work. All he knows is to torture his employees, bitch. I-"
"It would be better if you say the rest on my face, Mr. Yoon."
Jeonghan and Wonwoo gasped as they heard the voice behind them.
"I'm dead, right?" Jeonghan mumbled while squeezing his eyes shut.
"No doubt." Wonwoo worriedly stated.
"Please- I'm still too young to die." Jeonghan scoffed as he turned around, locking eyes with Seungcheol's dark ones.
"Into my cabin, Mr. Yoon." Seungcheol sternly ordered.
Jeonghan nodded as he steadily walked in. Seungcheol looked at Mingyu and Wonwoo who were standing like statues, "You both aren't Yoon Jeonghan, are you?"
The duo nodded in denial.
"Then stay out of this and do your work." Seungcheol stated as he got into his cabin while slamming the door shut.
"Gone." Mingyu mumbled to himself.
"Mr. Kim! Do something, save Jeonghan hyung." Wonwoo scrunched his brown.
"I'm sorry Mr. Jeon but I'm not kind enough to take someone's calamity on myself." Mingyu retorted.
"It's not funny."
"I'm very serious."
"Huh, you're just like Mr. Choi." Wonwoo rolled his eyes, "Arrogant."
"And you're just like Mr. Yoon." Mingyu retorted, "Impolite."
"Sucks to be you." Wonwoo muttered while walking away.
"Same to you." Mingyu said from behind.
Meanwhile, in the cabin, Seungcheol stood in front of the younger with his hands in his pocket, "Continue."
"Pardon?" Jeonghan looked up.
"Continue what you were saying, Mr. Yoon." Seungcheol grunted.
'Should I? Only if he wasn't my boss.'
"What happened now?" Seungcheol walked away to sit on his chair, his gaze boring holes into the younger's soul, "SPEAK MR. YOON."
"I apologize for my unethical behavior, Mr. Choi. It won't happen again." Jeonghan stated, although he was dying to swear at the older but he didn't have any option at that moment. Because as a matter of fact, his highly reputed post was in the older's hands.
"Do you think I'm taking that crap?" Seungcheol raised a brow, "I'm watching you since day one. And I'm pretty sure that you say these things behind my back every single day."
'You deserve it though.'
"I think you don't remember Mr. Yoon, I'm your BOSS." Seungcheol glared, "Oh right you think I hired this company out of nowhere, right? Why don't you do a little research on our LA branch's success hmm? Pretty sure you'll get your doubts cleared really quick. Tolerating your immoral behavior is the last thing I'll do, Mr. Yoon."
"It won't happen again-"
"Yeah, of course." Seungcheol chuckled dryly, "Because I won't leave you capable enough of pulling such stunts again. You need to be reminded of the fact that YOU work for ME."
Seungcheol sighed as he began to type something on his laptop, vigorously. He printed out a paper, signed it and slammed it in front of the younger, "Take this."
Jeonghan read the letter and in the meantime, Seungcheol printed out another paper.
"What-?" Jeonghan gasped, "You're promoting me to be your personal assistant along with me handling the position of the HOD?"
"Congratulations." Seungcheol grinned, a menacing look plastered on his face.
"Sorry, Mr. Choi but I've the right to decline the promotion offer." Jeonghan kept the paper back on the table.
"Knew it." Seungcheol acknowledged, "The other letter is your termination letter. You might think you can get a job somewhere else but I don't think anyone will hire you after reading the reason of you getting fired. After all, no one wants an employee who's known to constantly disrespect their boss. Choice is yours, Mr. Yoon."
Jeonghan sighed as be picked up the promotion letter.
Seungcheol retracted the termination letter and tore it, "Good luck from today onward, let's teach you some ethics and discipline. Dismiss. And yeah, send Mingyu to my cabin."
Jeonghan bowed lightly as he left the cabin. After a while, Mingyu walked in, "Yeah, hyung?"
"Connect the Web designing team's cabin's CCTV footage to a mini screen on my desk." Seungcheol stated.
"Okay, but why?" Mingyu asked.
"C'mon, you know." Seungcheol chuckled, "Someone needs to know who he messed with."
"Of course." Mingyu shrugged, "Mr. Yoon is in trouble, isn't he?"
"A huge one." Seungcheol clenched his jaw, "Wait for the day, when he'll be begging me to spare him and will apologize with the bottom of his heart."
"Well, that would be fun." Mingyu laughed along.
"Anyways, what about those texts? Did you get any clue?" Seungcheol asked.
"No, hyung." Mingyu sighed.
"Keep trying." Seungcheol nodded, "And yeah get me the footage screen right away."
"Yeah sure." Mingyu left the cabin.
Seungcheol looked at his watch as he chuckled wickedly. He made a call through the landline.
"Seriously?" Woozi gasped, "Well, Shua hyung had predicted it long ago."
"Argh, I'll go crazy at this point." Jeonghan whined.
"You've found a good way to stay around him all the time, now." Wonwoo sarcastically stated.
"And I absolutely hate it." Jeonghan grunted.
"Good luck with him, hyung." Woozi nodded.
It was when the landline kept on Jeonghan's desk ringed, "Hello? Web designing HOD, here."
"Come to my cabin, Mr. Yoon."
The phone hung up as Jeonghan sighed to himself, "He called me to his cabin. I just came back, what the hell?"
"He's doing it intentionally." Woozi stated, "To annoy you."
"I've to think of something. I ain't suffering like this." Jeonghan massaged his temples, "Anyways, I'll go for now."
Jeonghan made his way through the hallway, then the elevator and then to the CEO's cabin.
"What?" Seungcheol asked.
"You called me."
"Did I? Oh yes yes." Seungcheol pretended to recall, "Mr. Lee Jihoon is in your team, right? Tell him that the website outlines, he submitted last week are amazing and accepted."
"We had already received a mail regarding that, Mr. Choi." Jeonghan's voice laced with sarcasm.
"Then you may leave." Seungcheol focused on his laptop.
Jeonghan fumed with anger but he couldn't express it. He just stormed out of the cabin while slamming the door shut.
"If my cabin's door breaks, you're paying." Seungcheol stated after which he heard the door shutting softly.
Jeonghan rested against the wall of the elevator on his ride back to his cabin. He trudged to the desired room and collapsed on his seat.
"What happened?" Wonwoo asked.
"He called me for time pass." Jeonghan muttered.
Woozi offered him water, "Hyung, his attention has shifted on you now, for not so good reasons."
"I know." Jeonghan muttered.
"Now he'll definitely keep you either around himself or work." Wonwoo added.
"Arghhh." Jeonghan rested his head on the desk, "I'll have to do something-" He was halted by another call on the landline.
Three of them stared at each other after which Jeonghan picked up, "Hello? HO-"
"In my cabin, with your laptop, within 3 minutes. Dismiss."
Jeonghan sighed while hanging up, "I'm going." He picked his laptop and rushed out.
He reached Seungcheol's cabin and knocked after which he got the permission to step in.
"3 minutes, 15 seconds." Seungcheol stared at his watch, "You're 15 seconds late, Mr. Yoon."
"You're being ridi-" Jeonghan inhaled a deep breath, "I apologize, Mr. Choi. I'll try not be late, even by 15 seconds."
"Not even by a SINGLE second, that's my last warning to you." Seungcheol modified, "Sit."
Jeonghan took a seat in front of the older and placed his laptop on his desk.
"You look tired already." Seungcheol grinned.
"Not at all." Jeonghan sarcastically stated.
"Not at all?" Seungcheol raised a brow.
"Very much. I'm extremely exhausted." Jeonghan quickly agreed, not wanting to get into more trouble.
"I thought I bothered you a lot today." Seungcheol stood up, "I'll get some coffee for you, what say?"
"I'm fine by myself." Jeonghan stated, focusing on his screen.
"C'mon, don't say no." Seungcheol chuckled, "I'm being genuine."
Jeonghan scrunched his brows, clearly not convinced by the older, "Sure."
"Good." Seungcheol left the cabin, leaving Jeonghan alone.
Soon enough, Seungcheol came back with a cup of coffee in his hand and placed it in front of Jeonghan, "Here you go, Mr. Yoon."
"I hope it's not poisonous or something." Jeonghan muttered.
"Oh no, not at all." Seungcheol laughed, "You clearly don't deserve a death penalty."
Jeonghan inhaled a deep breath as he picked up the cup. He hesitantly took a sip after which he spit it immediately.
"Oh my god, what happened, Mr. Yoon?" Seungcheol gasped.
"What the-" Jeonghan drank some water.
"Wasn't good?" Seungcheol muttered, "Sorry, I'm not trained enough for making a good coffee."
Jeonghan felt each of his veins boiling with anger. He just wanted to pick up the laptop and slam it on the older's head or something.
Seungcheol grinned as he leaned down, resting one of his arms on Jeonghan's chair. He inched closer to the younger's face, "I know you're burning with anger right now."
Jeonghan retorted the older's gaze.
"I can see that in your eyes." Seungcheol chuckled, "But brace yourself Mr. Yoon, you've asked for it."
"Stop all this, Mr.Choi." Jeonghan grunted.
"Or?" Seungcheol mocked, his grip on the younger's chair tightening, "Of course I will stop but there's a condition to it."
"What condition?" Jeonghan asked.
Seungcheol held the younger's chin, "I want to see vulnerability and helplessness in your eyes."
"That's the last thing to happen." Jeonghan mumbled, "I'm not that fragile, Mr. Choi. This stupid torture of yours won't break me."
"Of course."Seungcheol stood up straight, "It's stupid because it's just the beginning. There's more to come and more to endure. All the very best."

Seungcheol sighed as he collapsed on his bed as he came to his room after dinner. The day was hectic, both at office and well, his side quests.
It was when his personal number started getting bombarded with texts.
Hey, Darling, missed me?
I hope you're awake.
And even if you aren't, my texts are going to wake you the fuck up.
How dare you not find me yet?
Seungcheol frowned, "Why is he dropping texts in parts? He usually texts in one long paragraph. Is he frustrated or something? Even if he is, why did he choose me to do this? What the hell is wrong with this guy?!!"
My patience is literally running out.
You legit told me that you'll recognize me
merely by my scent blah blah.
I put on that scent today and met you.
But you unfazed idiot.
I want to throw coffee or something all over you.
I want to smack your head and knock some sense into it.
I hate you so much for real.
But I'm putting up with you because I love you as well.
You better recognize me soon or
I don't know what I'm going to do with you.
Who do you think you are huh?
Made me fall for you and just forgot?
This ain't fair.
You better watch out.
Find me soon so that I can teach you a good lesson face to face.
Seungcheol scrunched his brows, "Has he gone crazy or something? Arghh who the hell is this person?!!"
Seungcheol tossed his phone away, "I need to find this menace as soon as possible. He needs to pay for ruining my mental peace, I swear."
A/n : Finally, any guesses? It might be what you're thinking but it might not be that easy either. Well, yeah.
Anyways, take care everyone!
