<Jeonghan's apartment>

Morning arrived as Seungcheol stirred awake in his sleep. The weather seemed to calm down and his health had improved as well, thanks to the medication and good amount of sleep.

But something was unexpected yet endearing. Seungcheol's gaze fell on Jeonghan who was asleep while sitting on the chair beside the bed. What was he doing there? As far as Seungcheol remembered, Jeonghan had left the room before he had fallen asleep.

Seungcheol felt a flutter in his chest at the sight, his heart filling with an unfamiliar feeling. He couldn't help but stare at the younger for a while longer, perplexed and a little touched.

Seungcheol noticed the discomfort on the younger's face. He was asleep in an awkward position, slumped against the chair, which was clearly not meant for sleeping.

Despite being unwell himself, Seungcheol pushed aside the blankets, wincing as the cold hit him. He carefully climbed out of the bed and walked towards the younger.

With all the strength he could muster, Seungcheol lifted Jeonghan up, his arms wrapping around the younger's waist. Jeonghan was surprisingly light, but Seungcheol struggled a bit to hold him up, his body still weak from the sickness.

Seungcheol swiftly moved towards the bed. He carefully lowered the younger onto the mattress as he stood up again.

But even after being so cautious, Jeonghan's eyes fluttered open, "What are you doing?" He slowly sat up the bed, rubbing his eyes.

"You were sitting there, uncomfortable." Seungcheol tried to maintain an indifferent tone, "Figured you'd sleep better on the bed, considering you're an idiot."

"I neither asked for your help nor your lecture." Jeonghan grumbled out.

"Is it?" Seungcheol sat down on the bed, clearly not very much recovered, "Then may I ask, what were YOU doing here?"

"I-" Jeonghan paused, "I came here to pick up all this stuff, but I accidentally fell asleep, I guess?"

"Right. You just happened to fall asleep here, in a chair. After coming to pick up 'stuff' but didn't actually move from the spot for the whole night." Seungcheol sarcastically stated, "And you expect me to believe that?"

"You're sick, can't you just shut up and rest?" Jeonghan rolled his eyes, moving out of the bed.

"I would shut up if you weren't talking bullshit." Seungcheol retorted, "Why won't you just admit that you came here to check on me?"

"Because I thought it was obvious." Jeonghan grumbled, "Of course I'm not that much attached to rather check on the curtains of the room."

"You really can't give a direct answer, can you?" Seungcheol teased, trying to suppress a cough, "Always gotta wrap things in sarcasm and fake indifference."

"Whatever." Jeonghan scoffed, "Call someone, go to your home and rest, I'll go to office."

Seungcheol grinned mischievously, "C'mon, I'm sick, have some empathy." He laid back on the bed, "Take care of me, Jeonghan."

"Don't take advantage of that." Jeonghan frowned.

"I'm really sick and I need someone to look after me. Who better than you?" Seungcheol tried his best to fake a pitiful expression, adding a dramatic cough for effect, "Have some mercy, please."

"I'm not buying that." Jeonghan looked away, "Go home."

"But I can't even bring myself to call anyone." Seungcheol made his voice seem weak, "I'm sick, remember? And I'm hungry. And thirsty. And very weak. I need someone to take care of me."

"You're nothing but dramatic." Jeonghan scrunched his brows, "Argh I know you're just acting up but still-"

"Oh really?" Seungcheol tried to sound as pitiful as possible, "Me? Dramatic? I'm just a poor, sick soul who needs a bit of care and attention."

Jeonghan scoffed, he couldn't help but smile just slightly, "Stop acting up, Seungcheol." He knew his guards were going down and he also knew that the older was well aware of this fact as well.

"But I'm not acting up." Seungcheol insisted, "I really do feel week and lousy. And it doesn't help when you're being so cold and unbothered." He threw in a loud cough for a dramatic effect.

"Are you trying to take revenge on me for all of our previous encounters huh?" Jeonghan raised a brow.

"We don't talk like that to a person who is sick." Seungcheol acted innocent but he was enjoying this a lot.

"Seungcheol?" Jeonghan paused, "Stop making your health an excuse."

"Excuse? What are you talking about?" Seungcheol shrugged lightly, "Can't a sick guy get a little bit of care?"

"Whatever." Jeonghan rolled his eyes, "You're sick, right? Then sleep, what can I do in that?"

"Oh there's a lot you can do." Seungcheol leaned back against the pillows, "You can, perhaps make me some soup? Fetch me a glass of water? Rub my temples, maybe? The options are endless really?"

"You-" Jeonghan sighed, giving up, "Go freshen up first."

"But I'm so weak and sore." Seungcheol whined, "I can barely move, let alone get up and freshen up."

"Oh I apologize sir, I can't bring the bathroom here." Jeonghan's voice laced with sarcasm.

"Oh c'mon." Seungcheol continued his act, "You can just provide me a helping hand. What is I slip and fall on the way?"

"Trust me, that would be better." Jeonghan retorted, "Because I'll rather drown your face into the sink."

"Is that how you're going to take care of me?" Seungcheol raised a brow, "I might die already."

"Sure do." Jeonghan whined, "Seungcheol just go freshen up!"

"Fine, fine!" Seungcheol got out of the bed, groaning occasionally to depict how sick he was.

"You and your dramatic self." Jeonghan rolled his eyes as the older shut the door, "And don't use cold water, got it?!"

"Sure." Seungcheol chuckled to himself. He was just too excited because finally, it was his turn to annoy the crap out of Jeonghan.

Meanwhile, Jeonghan went to freshen up as well after which he made a quick call to Wonwoo that he won't be coming to office. He applied for a leave online as he got back to prepare some breakfast for the older.

"Why am I even doing this?" Jeonghan grunted to himself, "I'm supposed to make him suffer not make him this soup and all. Sure act up all you want Choi, I'll be getting back at you once you recover."

He took the soup and light sandwiches which he had prepared and went back into Seungcheol's room, only to find him settled on the bed once again as he put his phone off. He was probably talking to someone over the call.

And it was also when he realised that Seungcheol was, shirtless, a thick platinum chain hanging around his neck. Jeonghan slipped there for a moment but quickly calmed himself.

"Wear your damn clothes." Jeonghan grunted out.

"First, my clothes from last night are still drenched." Seungcheol stated, "Second, your supposedly oversized tshirt was too stiff on me."

"You-"

"C'mon it's not like I'm naked or something." Seungcheol spread out his leg from under the blanket which were in trousers, "Alright?"

Jeonghan scoffed as he organised everything in front of the older, "Happy, there?"

"Oh, how kind of you." Seungcheol teased, "This is perfect. Now, would you be a darling and feed me, maybe?"

"Ridiculous." Jeonghan chuckled in misery, "Eat yourself, I'm not your caretaker."

"But I'm sick." Seungcheol protested, "I need your tender care and attention. Can't you pamper me a bit?"

"Are you serious?" Jeonghan cried out, "You boast about your gun a lot, don't you? Won't it pamper you now?"

"Oh, you don't understand." Seungcheol replied, "My gun doesn't have the same gentle touch as you do. I need your delicate care, your soft words. Would you deny a sick man his basic desires?"

Jeonghan sighed as he looked up again, "Just one bite and then you'll eat yourself."

Seungcheol's lips curved into a victorious smile, "Alright."

Jeonghan scrunched his brows as he put forward a bite in front of the older.

"Not like this, Jeonghan." Seungcheol whispered, "You can be a bit more affectionate; you know?"

"No, I can't." Jeonghan frowned.

"You can." Seungcheol leaned forward.

Jeonghan rolled his eyes as he maintained a gentle look, "Fine?"

"Fine." Seungcheol accepted his first bite after which both of them ate in silence.

Jeonghan collected the utensils on the tray as he stood up, "Sleep, I'm not coming back."

"And what if I need something later?" Seungcheol asked.

"You can call me, Seungcheol, it's not that hard."

"But I'm sick." Seungcheol retorted.

"I-" Jeonghan scoffed, "What has gotten into you huh?!"

"Fever, cold, and what not." Seungcheol massaged his forehead, "Oh my god, I'm so sick."

"Why am I putting up with you?!" Jeonghan grumbled while walking away as he came back into the room, "What do you even want?"

"A few more things for now." Seungcheol pretended to think, "Maybe some water? A blanket? And your company?"

Jeonghan huffed in irritation as he pointed at the side table, "Water." He then pointed at the older's feet which were all tucked into the covers, "Blanket."

"Ah perfect. But you missed one thing, I still need your company." Seungcheol patted on the space on the bed next to him, "Come, sit here. Just for a bit."

Jeonghan shot him a glare as he stomped forward to sit on the far edge of the bed, "Alright?"

"You're so far away." Seungcheol teased, "Closer, please."

Jeonghan shifted closer but still maintaining distance, "Fine?"

"Almost." Seungcheol whispered, "But still too far away."

Jeonghan stared at him in disbelief.

"Nevermind." Seungcheol slowly got up as he shifted to lay his head on the younger's lap.

"Seungcheol, what the hell?" Jeonghan whined out.

"What's the matter?" Seungcheol mumbled, "Can't a sick guy get some comfort?"

"Not again." Jeonghan grumbled, "What's so comforting here huh?"

"I don't know." Seungcheol chuckled, "Maybe it's your thighs, they're quite comfy, you know?"

Jeonghan froze for a moment after which he cleared his throat, "Shut up."

"Why?" Seungcheol wriggled his brows, "You got me on my knees and suddenly you're so shy hmm?"

Jeonghan inhaled a deep breath, "That was different."

"Aha are you flustered?" Seungcheol shifted slightly, looking up at the younger with a sly smile, "Maybe I should do that again soon, huh?"

"You're willing to 'bow down' for me again?" Jeonghan raised a brow, "How will that sit right with your pride?"

"Oh my pride can handle it if this is the result." Seungcheol let out a dramatic sigh, "Besides, I'll just say I was practicing my humility."

"Stop, don't you have to rest?" Jeonghan looked away.

"Rest?" Seungcheol shifted his head slightly on Jeonghan's lap, "How can I rest when I have such a comfortable pillow to lay on?"

"You're too much." Jeonghan scoffed.

"Yup but you love it." Seungcheol nuzzled his cheek against the younger's thigh, "Besides, these thighs are too tempting to resist."

"You don't seem sick at all." Jeonghan swallowed the hint of rising need within him.

Seungcheol smirked, noticing how Jeonghan was trying to hold back. He could see the signs - the flushed cheeks, the slight breathlessness. It just fueled his desire to tease the younger even more.He lifted his head slightly, looking up at Jeonghan with a mischievous gleam in his eyes. "Oh yeah? Maybe I'm just pretending to be sick so I can laze around and get your attention."

"I'll throw you out." Jeonghan tried to shift the older's head away.

"Oh come on." Seungcheol resisted the younger's subtle attempt, "You wouldn't dare throw a poor, sick guy out, would you?"

"You're talking too much for a poor, sick guy." Jeonghan retorted.

Seungcheol shifted slightly on the younger's lap, his hand gently rubbing up the younger's thigh, "Maybe I just need something to quiet me down."

Jeonghan writhed slightly but maintained his composure, "I took a leave from office only to serve my maniac boss at my own home."

"Maniac boss, alright. I'm quite enjoying finally getting the upper hand as I should." Seungcheol let his hand glide higher up the younger's thigh, slowly but deliberately.

"It will come back to you, two times harder." Jeonghan breathed out, "Just remember that."

"I'll wait for it." Seungcheol shifted again, moving his head even closer to the younger's growing stiffness.

Jeonghan squirmed subtly, "Get off me!"

"Okay." Seungcheol nodded as he got up and sat on the bed.

Jeonghan sighed heavily as he walked into the bathroom. He looked at the mirror as he splashed some water on his face.

He flinched slightly as he saw Seungcheol leaning against the doorframe, "What the hell is your problem?"

"Nothing, just came here to see if you're alright." Seungcheol was thoroughly enjoying the younger's obvious struggle, "You looked a bit flustered, that's all."

"Shut up." Jeonghan continued to splash cold water on his face, "Don't think too highly of yourself."

Seungcheol walked closer to the younger, his hands resting just lightly on his sides as the older's breath grazed over the back of Jeonghan's neck, "Can't hear you from so far away."

Jeonghan turned off the tap as he looked up to their reflection in the mirror, "Aren't you sick now huh?!"

"Oh, I'm feeling better." Seungcheol pulled him closer, his hands gently holding his hips, "All thanks to a certain someone."

Jeonghan averted his gaze from the mirror, "You think I'll give in? Just like that?"

"You will." Seungcheol leaned closer, his bare chest pressed against Jeonghan's back, "You just need a little persuasion."

"I don't think a little would work though." Jeonghan muttered, "Not even a lot would work."

"I can be quite persuasive though." Seungcheol pressed himself closer to the younger, letting him feel the obvious excitement.

Before realising, a low whimper escaped Jeonghan's lips as he clutched the sink tightly, "You'll be paying a really huge amount for this later on."

Seungcheol nibbled on Jeonghan's earlobe, "Aww, is that a promise?" With one hand, he gently caressed the younger's inner thigh, his touch light and easy.

Jeonghan tensed under his touch but continued to act stern, "Do you really think you're winning?"

"I'm not just winning." Seungcheol leaned closer, his lips against Jeonghan's neck. His hand slowly moved up the younger's inner thigh, "I'm about to claim my prize."

"In your dreams." Jeonghan retorted, his knuckles turning white while clutching the sink.

"Hmm deny it." Seungcheol gently pulled the younger's hips against his own, his hands moved higher, teasingly close to the younger's center of pleasure, "But your body tells a different story, Jeonghan."

"I-" Jeonghan inhaled a deep breath, "I won't let you win so easily, got it?!"

"Keep trying." Seungcheol's fingers grazed the edge of the younger's growing tent, making him involuntarily shudder, "But I've got you right where I want you."

"Don't cry when it comes back on you later." Jeonghan threatened.

"Believe me, I'm looking forward to it." Seungcheol whispered against the younger's ear, "But accept it, today's your day to be the mess you've always created of me."

"Mess? Me?" Jeonghan looked straight into the older's eyes through the mirror, "Who are you trying to assure? Yourself?"

"By now, I've got to know that your demands work through gaslighting." Seungcheol's lips hovered over the younger's ear, "You'll be a mess, surely."

"You tend to think a bit too highly of yourself, don't you?" Jeonghan laughed mockingly, "Stupid."

Seungcheol's hands moved under the younger's tshirt, feeling his skin beneath his fingers, tracing along his ribs, "And yet, who's melting in my grasp?"

"No one." Jeonghan blurted out.

Seungcheol pried Jeonghan's finger's away from the edge of the sink and pulled them behind his back, holding both wrists in one hand, "No one? Are you sure? Because look at yourself, hmm?"

Jeonghan looked up into the mirror, the older standing behind him with a victorious smile, "I'm looking alright, nothing to boast about. You've done nothing."

"I'm just trying to figure out how much you can lie." Seungcheol's grip on Jeonghan's wrists tightened as his other hand traced his waist, "And I'm enjoying seeing you try to deny it."

"Fuck you!" Jeonghan gritted out.

Seungcheol chuckled as he gripped the younger's jaw gently, "Say that again and I might do it."

Jeonghan's wrists wriggled amidst the older's hold, "Shut that mouth of yours."

"Me? Really?" Seungcheol's gaze was declared, "Watch your mouth Jeonghan or I'll be shutting it for you."

"Look who's talking?" Jeonghan chuckled, "Hundred percent ego, zero percent guts."

"Don't challenge me unless you actually want it." Seungcheol moved his hips, pressing himself against the younger's body, making it clear just how much 'guts' he had.

"Oh please, why would I challenge someone who is bound to lose?" Jeonghan mumbled even though his breathes were ragged.

"You're the one who's already lost." Seungcheol ground his hips against the younger, feeling his body react, the faintest hint of a whimper escaping.

Jeonghan clenched his fists tighter under the older's grip, "You- uh-!"

"Can't find your voice, now?" Seungcheol shifted his weight, moving his hips again, grinding against the younger's body with a deliberate force.

"I-"

"Aw, speechless, are we?" Seungcheol teased, "What do you need right now, Jeonghan? Say it."

Jeonghan squeezed his eyes shut before mumbling quietly, "More."

"What was that?" Seungcheol ground his hips forcefully against the younger, "I didn't quite hear you?"

Jeonghan gulped, not very fond of letting the older win, "More-"

"Say it louder." Seungcheol commanded as he continued slightly harder this time, making it torturous for the younger.

"I- I hate you so much." Jeonghan grunted, "More, I want more."

"But you want me." Seungcheol chuckled as his movements became more relentless and overwhelming, "And you'll do anything I want, won't you?"

Jeonghan found himself nodding, "I- I will."

"Good." Seungcheol pressed him further, trapping him against the sink, his breath hot and erratic, "You're going to do exactly as I say, you hear me?"

"Hmm." Jeonghan grumbled, "I do."

"Great." Seungcheol spun him around, pinning the younger between his body and the cold porcelain.

Jeonghan looked up at him directly, his cheeks red as his breaths were unsteady.

"Someone had said that he won't be a mess?" Seungcheol mocked.

"Don't enjoy it too much." Jeonghan muttered.

"Jeonghan-" Seungcheol's voice was low and sultry as he inched closer to his lips.

"What?" Jeonghan whispered out.

"Undress yourself." Seungcheol paused a for a long moment, "And take a shower, you're a mess right now. I'm leaving."

"What the fuck?!" Jeonghan blurted out.

"What happened?" Seungcheol chuckled, "Didn't you say you'll do anything I ask?"

"You can't be serious!" Jeonghan gritted his teeth.

Seungcheol stepped closer to the younger, "I made you crave for me and reduced you to a mess. That too, at your own house. How does that feel, darling?"

"It's embarrassing." Jeonghan muttered, "Damn embarrassing."

"Exactly." Seungcheol chuckled as he began to leave.

"You'll be paying for it Seungcheol, really soon!" Jeonghan threatened.

"I'll look forward to it." Seungcheol replied as he opened the door and left, leaving Jeonghan alone, flushed and frustrated.
