"WHERE THE hell are they?" Yoongi asked. His feet drug across the concrete. He and Jungkook had both decided on full black outfits and were regretting their decisions almost immediately. Namjoon stared at his last text message to Chinsun. She had told him to wait where he was. But why? Why were they standing in a venue for a new group's debut when they could be eating pork strips? Jungkook let out a long groan, his backpack sliding to the ground. Taehyung stared at the maknae. Most of the members had decided on ripped jeans or, in Namjoon's case, shorts with t shirts. All wore masks to cover their faces, along with caps of all sizes. "Try calling her again," Jin suggested, pointing his index finger at their leader. "I think her phone is off," he admitted.

"It's hot!" Jungkook whined. Before anyone could reply, a voice began to waft through the speakers. All of the boys turned to the sound, spotting an older gentleman on the stage. "Annyeonghaseyo! Thank you all for coming. I am CEO Park Choong-min of Cube Entertainment. Today, we are making history by introducing our newest girl group, (G)-Idle. Welcome their members, Leader Soyeon, Miyeon, Minnie, Soojin, Sunny, and Eunjeong!" In unison, the boys released the tension in their jaws as they snapped open. The curtains hiding the girls pulled back the moment the CEO stepped away from the stage, revealing the new group. The girls wore smiles brighter than the sun as their music began to play through the speakers.

Their single, Latata, began to play as Soyeon began her rap. The remaining girls moved to the beat, dancing their choreography with their whole hearts. Once Soyeon finished, Soojin began her verse. Minnie began the pre chorus, moving her hips as she sang. Sunny came up behind her, now present in the center as she finished the pre chorus. Her eyes flickered over the crowd until she spotted the boys, all wearing the same expression. She flashed a beaming smile toward them as she moved to her next position. "I love ya," they all sang in unison, Miyeon continuing. "I love ya." Miyeon continued, winking out to the crowd as the people moved to the music. The boys were starting to loosen up when Eunjeong's part came. Sunny could distinctly pick out Jin by his weird dance moves as he tried to usher the others to join him.

"I love ya!" The girls began to dance harder to the instrumental, all smiling. Yoongi finally joined in on Jin's antics, bouncing on his feet as he threw his hands around. The boys were laughing, clapping, and cheering on for their two babies. "Every day, every night, latata," Soojin breathed out before Soyeon began the next verse. She interacted with the audience like a true star. The crowd was jumping excitedly, screaming out for the girls. Sunny smiled over at Eunnie, who looked absolutely starstruck. She was dancing with everything she had and her lips wore a million dollar smile. They moved positions as Soyeon's rap finally ended, signaling for Minnie to begin the pre chorus.

Namjoon's eyes were glued on the curly haired Park twin. The way she sang and danced made his heart stop right in the middle of his chest. His eyes twinkled with a new found adoration for the girl. He admired the bright and happy smile that resided on her pink painted and glossy lips. He admired the way she interacted with the joyous crowd and the other members, her movements fluid and graceful. "They're amazing!" Hoseok shouted in order for his own members to hear the compliment. A smile crossed over Namjoon's face as a giggle slipped past her lips. She is, he thought to himself. All of the whining and complaining had washed away, being replaced with pure excitement and admiration for the two girls on stage. The bridge approached and Chinsun stood in the center of the group, her eyes locked ahead of her.

The sound of her voice awoken Namjoon's still heart, sending its beating into overdrive. His hands began to sweat and his chest heaved. She switched places with Miyeon, her fingers grazing over the girl's shoulder as her part began. Minnie stepped between the two, her shoulder bumping Miyeon's while Eunjeong did the same on the other side of the oldest member. Once the bridge ended, their last hook commenced. The girls got to their positions and began doing the final steps in their choreography. Applause roared around them at a volume they had never expected. Jin, Yoongi, and Hoseok all began shouting for the girls, throwing their arms in the air. Namjoon clapped for them, his smile bright and wide behind the mask hiding his identity. Both Jungkook and Jimin cheered for their sisters, shouting their names as a chant began.

The music ended and all of the girls heaved in breaths, sticking in their final poses. Sunny's eyes roamed the area once more for the faces she couldn't wait to see, finding the boys jumping like idiots and cheering hers and Eunjeong's name. Soyeon was the first to move, bringing the girls in around her. They stood in a line, Eunnie and Sunny finding each other at the end. "Hana dul set," Soyeon said, looking to the members. "Ai annyeonghaseyo! We are (G)-Idle imnida!" they chorused, bowing toward the audience with enthusiasm. Eunnie and Sunny grabbed each other's hands and squeezed. It all wasn't a dream. They were truly standing there in front of an audience, and they sang their hearts out. She wanted to squeal and jump around, but knew that she had to hold it in. At least until she was with the boys.

"We hope you all love us and support us with your all. We are super excited to start making music and living our dream lives. Thank you all for coming out and showing us a good time!" Soyeon spoke into the microphone. She passed the object to Miyeon, who immediately cheered. "We hope to please you all with our songs and want to make a family with you all." Minnie took the mic next, wrapping her arm around Soojin's shoulders. "We plan to stick around for a long time," she giggled, looking over toward the two youngest. "We're here to get our message out there and help others using the one thing we all love and have in common: music." Soojin nodded to the woman as her mouth stretched out into a wide grin. Sunny quickly made grabby hands toward Minnie, who passed her the microphone.

She drew in a sharp breath, a laugh escaping past her lips. "I learned from seven very important people that you should never give up. Follow your dreams and give your all into everything you do. Thanks to them, I've met these amazing friends who I can gladly call my group mates. Don't give up, okay? Fight for what you want and when you get knocked down, remember that it is possible for you to get back up." Sunny moved the microphone from her mouth for a moment before mumbling a shy 'thank you', her cheeks blazing a red color. Eunnie wrapped her arms around Sunny's waist as the rest of the girls awed at their sunshine. She hid her face behind her hands, laughing at their reactions. "We are (G)-Idle! Thank you!" Soojin spoke into the mic before handing it off to Cube Entertainment's CEO.

The girls rushed off the stage, hugging one another. Their voices rose in volume as they mashed together, excitement and nerves wavering some of their words. "Your speech!" Soojin gushed, grabbing Sunny by her shoulders and shaking her gently. "Stop~" the Park twin giggled. Soyeon ruffled her messy curls, pulling the youngest into her side. "You guys did amazing out there," she hummed. "I'm proud." We did amazing!, Sunny thought to herself. The excitement and adrenaline coursing through her veins finally broke free and the young woman began bouncing on her toes. A sharp squeal slipped past her lips when she heard his voice. All of the girls turned to find BTS approaching, their masks gone. Chinsun raced toward the group, throwing her arms around her brother awaiting for her. "What the hell!" he shouted, a large smile present on his face.

"You should have told us about this, Chinsunie!" Jin exclaimed as she moved toward the eldest. She wrapped her arms around his torso, peering up at him with her best puppy eyes. "I'm sorry, oppas," she replied. Yoongi gripped her elbow and quickly pulled her into his embrace. She melted into his arms. "I'm really proud of you, Sunny," he mumbled into her thick mane. Her heart swelled at his words. "Why didn't you tell us?" Jimin asked his sister, who had moved on to hug Taehyung. She shrugged her small shoulders with a nervous smile. "I was worried you'd try and talk me out of it... I know that you went through a tough time during training and even after." Jimin stared at his sister for a moment, silent. "Well, you did amazing, Sunny. Really," Namjoon complimented, wrapping his arms around her body.

"Thank you, Joonie," she hummed, burying her face into his chest. Eunjeong joined the crew, followed by the rest of their group. "Guys, meet the girls," Eunnie hummed, smiling between everyone. Jungkook was quick to swoop in and hug his sister, whispering encouraging words into her ear. The girls introduced theirselves individually, as did the boys. "You guys are very talented," Hoseok stated, making each of the girls blush. "Thank you! We worked really hard. And with even more work, maybe we can reach you guys' level," Soyeon explained confidently. Sunny laughed at their leader. "You can do anything you put your minds to," Namjoon replied. Sunny's arm was still looped around Joon's waist, his around her shoulders.

"Sunny!" All heads turned to the new voice. Sunny removed herself from her place between Namjoon and Taehyung. "Junhui!" she squeaked excitedly. She ran up to the male and jumped into his arms. He lifted her easily and spun her around. "You did amazing!" he exclaimed, cupping her face once her feet had landed onto the floor. "You're a natural out there. And your voice— wow!" She giggled shyly. Her face had became beet red now, and Junhui had no plans of stopping. "And you looked absolutely beautiful. It's insane how ethereal you looked. Like an angel, really." The boys behind her all stared hard at the male with his hands squishing their sunshine's cheeks. Jimin cleared his throat, gathering both of their attention. "Do you want to meet my friends?" she asked Junhui in a whisper.

"I have practice in a few minutes, so I need to run. But I'm throwing a huge party for you, okay? I'll pick you up." He poked her nose after releasing her cheeks from his hold. "A p-party? Junhui—" But before she could argue, he was waving goodbye and already halfway gone.
