THIS WAS it. She was fighting back for the life she had and wanted. Park Chinsun climbed the steps to the Bangtan dorms with a newfound fire within her. Her small frame was engulfed in a large hoodie, her legs adorning a pair of grey sweatpants. Her face was hidden within the hood and her curls from any possible dispatch cameras. Her knuckles rapped against the wood twice before she could distinctly hear footsteps approaching. She only hoped it wasn't one of the two she was planning to speak to. Just as her heart felt as if it would burst from its cage, the front door pulled open, a nicely dressed Hoseok standing in the doorway. His lips stretched into his radiant smile. "Chinsunie!" he cheered, only to be shushed by the Park twin.

"Jimin isn't here." — "I'm not here for Jimin. I'm here for the two youngest," she explained. His smile dropped a centimeter before he picked it back up again, nodding his head. "I'm sure you know about the divide, then." She confirmed his suspension with a nod of her head as he let her enter the dorm. She fumbled with the sleeves of her hoodie before freeing her hand and pushing the hood back. "I'm here to apologize and hopefully mend all of these broken relationships." Hoseok wasted no time to pull Sunny into his embrace. He knew how difficult this was for her. Being that he could read her like a book due to how similar they are, he's acknowledged the blank stares and the emotions bottled behind her warm, brown eyes. "Ours is still in tact. As is Jin hyung's." She buried her face into his designer shirt before quickly pulling away. "Thank you, Hobi oppa."

The two shared a smile before she continued her journey to find the two idiots. Both were in their shared room, the loud echo of a video game muffled by the closed door. Lucky for her, it seemed that Hoseok and the two were the only ones at the dorm. She figured Yoongi and Joon were probably at their studios, while Jin was either in the shower or out eating. Either way, she was grateful for the privacy she was about to have. Without a second thought, she stormed into their room, startling both Taehyung and Jungkook, the youngest shrieking in surprise. "You guys are jerks!" she shouted, crossing her arms over her chest as her lips fell into a pout. "Wh–What are you doing here!?" Taehyung asked in a shrill voice. Sunny brought her pointer finger to her lips, shushing him. "You don't talk! You listen!"

Once both pair of wide eyes were focused on her, she began her rant. "I'm sorry, okay? I've been distant and I've been a terrible friend. I chose my boyfriend over my family and I'm sorry! But you two have also betrayed me, too. Not only have you been talking about throwing away our friendship, you've been conspiring against my relationship!" Taehyung sat up quicker than ever before, his hands held up in front of him. "That wasn't just us, though!" he argued. Sunny knew this. She knew of the plan the moment she and Eunjeong had reconnected. The youngest couldn't hold the guilt in any longer. "I know," she replied, her voice small. "I know it wasn't just you guys, but... it stills hurts. And knowing that you were so willing to throw away what we have even knowing—"

Her tears began to spill over her cheeks despite her demands to stay locked in. She used her sleeves to wipe them away. "I love you guys. I love both of you so much and I felt... I felt so alone." Guilt blinded both boys, urging their own eyes to water. They looked to each other, ashamed, before standing from their places. Taehyung crawled off of his bed to pull the brunette into his embrace, allowing her to cry on his shoulder. "I'm sorry," she sobbed, clutching onto his sweatshirt. Jungkook left his gaming chair to wrap his own arms around Sunny and Taehyung, his chest against her back. "We are too, noona," the maknae whispered sadly. "We were blinded by anger and jealousy... We didn't stop to think about your feelings."

"We knew how he treats you and yet we were still blaming you," Taehyung admitted, resting his chin atop her head. She drew in a shaky breath, her chest tightening as their truths seemed to pile onto her list of problems. She tightened her grip on Taehyung, her nose brushing the front of his sweatshirt. "Are we okay, now?" she asked, her voice broken. "Can we just... go back?" Taehyung pressed a kiss to the top of Sunny's head. "Yeah, I think so." — "I missed you, noona. I've had to take V hyung to our café instead and it just isn't the same," Jungkook whined. Sunny breathed out a laugh as they all untangled from the hug. "How about we go to the café later today? I'm free." Jungkook's eyes brightened at her offer and he was quick to accept.

"We really are sorry, Sunny-ah. We feel really guilty." She smiled over at Taehyung and patted his cheek. "Yah! You should!" The fourth voice startled each of the three in the room, all of their heads snapping toward the doorway. There stood Seokjin, his hair messy atop his head. He was dressed casually with a towel around his neck. "You two were complete asses about the whole situation! If I was her, I wouldn't have forgiven you so easy!" He pointed at Sunny as the words left his mouth and she couldn't help but laugh. "I think you two should be on your knees, kissing her shoes for how you talked about her." She waved Jin off, her cheeks warm and a new shade of red. He glanced back toward the Park twin with a sigh. "You're too nice, Chinsunie."

She smiled brightly at the oldest member, crossing her arms over her chest. "That's what makes me me, I suppose," she retaliated, causing his eyebrows to raise. He slowly began to nod, agreeing with her. "That is true. Is that all you came by for? To scold these two idiots or do you want to stay for lunch?" Her eyes lit up and she was quick to swoop in. She flung her arms around Jin's neck as she muffled her excited squeal. "Yes, please. Miyeon tries so hard to cook as well as you, but it just isn't possible!" Jin chuckled, feeling proud of himself. "I am the chef Kim Seokjin. No one can cook like me!" he exclaimed with a sarcastic laugh. Jungkook snorted, though he had to agree. One thing he loved the most was Jin's cooking. "What are you making, hyung?" Taehyung asked with a boxy smile.

"Kimchi?" The three nodded quickly, excited about his suggestion. "One of you text the others. I'll get started." Jungkook jumped onto his bed and snagged his phone from its charger, already unlocking the device to text their Bangtan group chat, the one without the girls. Hoseok had gone out, Yoongi was at the studio, Jimin was on a date, and no one truly knew where Namjoon was. But as soon as the word kimchi was sent, they were all responding that they were on their way, all but Jimin. Sunny hesitated to take a seat on Jungkook's bed, her hands feeling clammy again. She understood that the fighting was over and that all is forgiven, but that tiny voice in the back of her head continued to whisper to her that she's wrong. She can't just trust them again. But she questioned it back. Why couldn't she? What's the reason?

"Your eye looks a lot better," Taehyung mentioned, now standing in front of the Park twin as he tilted her head up to get a better look. "It still hurts," she replied, her lips pouting. "I can't sleep on my favorite side until it heals." He tapped the skin gently, retreating his hands when she winced. "What happened, anyway?" Jungkook asked, settling down beside her. He crossed his legs, leaning back onto his hands. She blew her hair from her face and contemplated on her answer. She had told Yoongi the truth. Why did she feel the need to keep it from these two? "Ah, it was nothing," she laughed mildly. Taehyung crossed his arms over his abdomen, narrowing his eyes at the brunette. "Okay... A sasaeng attacked me at the airport. She knew about me and Yoongi's fight and thought she would stick up for him, and she punched me in the face."

"Does Suga hyung know?" Jungkook asked and frowned. She nodded her head. "We talked about it the other night." Taehyung pouted his lips. "People are insane sometimes. How could someone just walk up to someone with an intention to harm them? I just don't understand!" Sunny chuckled at the seriousness of Taehyung's words. She placed her hands on his arms with a smile. "Not everyone has a heart as big as yours, Tae. Or you, Kook-ah." Both boys stared down at the girl they had known for years now. She wasn't the same, that much was obvious. She used to be so soft and sweet, with not one bone of hers shedding the least amount of malice. Now, she was harder. She wasn't near as naive as she once was. "Let's go. I'm starving!" Both boys chuckled.

"This is nice. Having the group back together," Jin mentioned, finishing the last of his meal. Sunny's stomach was full, and her eyes were getting droopy. All of the boys hummed in agreement, the girl smiling. She had missed days like this where she could just sit around with them, not a care in the world could tear her down from this high. "Joon," she began, brushing her fingers through her curls, "can I talk to you for a minute?" His wide eyes found hers from across the table. It had been so long since he had been alone with her. He slowly nodded, pushing his dish away from him as he stood from his seat. She took the lead, directing him toward his room. Both were silent as they left the rest of the group to wonder what's happening.

"I—" His words died on his tongue the moment her arms wrapped around his waist. He stood there, unable to focus on anything but her steady breathing and the rhythm of her heartbeat. "I'm sorry," she mumbled, her cheek flat against his chest. He couldn't respond. He couldn't move. "I've been horrible and I was blind. I hurt you and I never wanted to do anything of the sorts, ever." Her voice wavered, but she stayed strong. She kept her tears at bay, her mouth running dry. "I know," he mustered out, finally wrapping his arms around her body. He rested his chin on the top of her head. "I know, Chinsunie." The room fell silent as they just stood there, holding onto each other.

"I confessed to you because... because I want you to know that after Junhui, you aren't alone. I will always be here for you, even if you and Junhui stay together." His words charged her heart like a defibrillator, sending her body into a trembling fit. She buried her face into his shirt, fighting against the strong urge to cry. "I love you, and I'm not ashamed to tell you. Because I know now." She pulled away, her whole body falling from his grip. She wrapped her arms around herself in an attempt to stop herself from falling apart. "You know, I had the biggest crush on you," she finally admitted aloud to the one person she had been too scared to tell. "Had?" Hope glistened in his warm brown eyes. The moment they met hers, he could see her wall crumble. "I guess I still have a teensy little crush on you."

Those were the words he needed to give him a charge of energy. He closed the distance between them, his hands cupping her cheeks between them, and pressed his soft lips to hers. She gasped at the contact, her eyes wide until she melted into his touch. She allowed his lips to overtake hers and his hands to run through her tangled curls. Fireworks exploded around them behind their eyelids, falling into a dusted galaxy. She felt her heart yearn for him, like his was her missing piece. He was the answer to all of her questions. But she was taken... The thought made her stomach churn and eventually, she pulled away from the kiss with sad eyes. Namjoon sighed. "I'm sorry," he apologized, but it was waved away by the brunette. "It isn't your fault, Joonie... It's mine."

She couldn't meet his eyes. With her head down, she left the room and wished the boys well before escaping out into the afternoon air.
