SHE WAS tired. She had not slept a wink the night before because of her thunderous thoughts. Talking to Eunjeong did seem to clear the air and helped peel Sunny's exterior away for her to finally confide in someone. Yet, she still felt sick about the whole thing. Would Eunnie tell anyone? Jungkook had basically known everything from the start, like the little, nosy sleuth he is. God, what if Junhui found out? She picked herself up from her bed with a sigh, careful not to wake up the snoring Minnie in the opposite bed. With her blanket wrapped around her shoulders, she exited the bedroom and walked straight into the kitchen to make a bowl of cereal. She didn't expect anyone to be up.

"Good morning, unnie." She screwed her fist into her eye to get rid of the sleep blurring her vision. Soojin smiled at the younger member, her head snapping away from the stove for only a moment. "Good morning, angel. Breakfast?" The younger hummed, inhaling the scent of the cooked eggs. A plate of fluffy pancakes sat off to the side. "I'd love some." Sunny grabbed a cup from the cupboard and moved to the refrigerator to retrieve some ice. Next, she poured in her orange juice. Soojin hummed while she finished cooking the eggs. Sunny would like to say that she's close with all of her members. They had been together for a while now, but the one member she didn't talk to as much was Soojin. Neither girl knows why they don't converse much, but they both love each other like family. "How was lunch yesterday?"

Eunnie probably told her. They're rather close, Sunny concluded. She smiled, her finger tracing the rim of her glass. "Good. We cleared the air. I'm a little worried about Eunjeong, though." Soojin turned to face the Park twin after pulling the pan from the stove. She switched it off almost immediately after. "You're noticing it too, right? How she isn't eating as much." Sunny nodded to confirm Soojin's wary words. Both girls fell silent as their thought process circled around the youngest of their group. Her condition was beginning to grow worse as her body thinned and her eyes began to sink. They were sure that, soon, they would have to say something. Fear was the only thing holding them back. "I'm going to wake everyone else for breakfast, okay?" Sunny nodded again, remaining silent as Soojin left the kitchen.

She took a long drink of her orange juice before moving to make her a plate of pancakes. Pancakes were probably her favorite breakfast food, but no one can outshine Seokjin's pancakes. They were by far the superior breakfast in Sunny's eyes. Just as she plated herself a single pancake with an egg on the side, the doorbell rang. When she noticed no one else moving to get it, being that most of them were still passed out, she decided to grab it herself. After shoving a bite of pancake into her mouth, she skipped toward the front door. She pulled it open with a smile on her lips, but the smile faltered upon seeing the person outside. "Hey, babe," Junhui greeted, chuckling at her extended cheeks. He didn't waste any time to lean forward and peck her lips.

"Wh–What are you doing here? Don't you have practice?" Her wide eyes stared back at the grinning boy, his shoulder leaned against the door frame. He lifted his hand and poked her nose with his pointer finger, a light hearted chuckle leaving his lips. "Nope. We had to reschedule since there was some scheduling problem with another group." His eyebrows furrowed at her blank expression, but he didn't comment on it. Breaking up with him to his face is going to be harder than I thought, she thought, her hand lifting to scratch her head. "Are you eating?" She nodded slowly and crossed her arms over her chest. "That's a shame. I was hoping to take you to that café you like so much for breakfast before treating you to a shopping trip." Her eyes widened once more as she choked on her spit. "It's the least I can do after everything."

"Okay.. I–I just have to tell the girls," she spoke softly, pecking his lips. He caught her head before she could pull away, reconnecting their lips into a more sensual kiss. Her heart didn't stutter anymore. Her lips didn't tingle against his, nor did she experience the blinding colors from their fireworks. She sighed once they parted, forcing a shy smile on her lips before she turned to walk back to the kitchen. She looked around her, noticing the girls now sitting on the couch in the sitting room. Junhui waited patiently at the door, excited to spend the next few hours with his girlfriend. Sunny looked down to her clothes, noticing she was still wearing her pajamas. "Um, guys," she spoke up, wringing her fingers nervously in front of her. All heads turned toward the awkward girl, questioning her silently. "So, um, I'm going to go eat breakfast with Junhui... if that's okay."

Excitement seemed to overpower the youngest as a smile graced her chapped lips. Sunny noticed the gleam in the girl's eyes and quickly shushed her, hoping to stop her from embarrassing them both. She knew Junhui could still hear them. She turned to face the front door, finding him still there, on his phone. "I'm going to get ready. I'll meet you outside." He looked up with innocent eyes and nodded. "I'll be in the car." As soon as they heard the door close, Soojin's eyes focused on the brunette. "What are you doing?" the black haired singer asked the Park twin, her dark eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Sunny ran her fingers through her tangled hair, her eyes screwing closed. "I guess I'm going to break up with him," she replied, almost breathlessly.

Her fingers were twitching with her nerves. She was terrified of his reaction, but she would prefer to cause a scene than break up with him over text, knowing that he wouldn't accept it. Soyeon laughed in disbelief, her smile wide. "Really?" Sunny nodded with a slight shrug. "Yeah. I mean– No, yeah. I am." Minnie clapped her hands while Miyeon ran her hand over Eunjeong's back, feeling the girl's spine beneath her fingers. "What about a movie night after your breakup?" Minnie asked with a wide grin. Eunnie turned to look at the Park twin, her eyes narrowed. "If she's going to break up," she suddenly voiced. Sunny pouted at the youngest. "I am. I'm sure of it." She crossed her arms over her chest, pondering on the suggestion. "And movie night sounds awesome. I'll get some more snacks while I'm out." And with that, Sunny turned to enter her bedroom to get changed.

She settled on a white, long sleeved shirt with a pair of denim shorts. She let her hair fall naturally, only combing her fingers through the thick strands. With a bag thrown over her arm, Sunny left the safety of the dorms and joined Junhui outside. He was leaning against his vehicle, his eyes glued to his phone. Upon hearing the door open and close, he glanced up to take in Sunny's appearance. "Wow!" he exclaimed with a wide smile. "My girl is the cutest!" Her cheeks subconsciously warmed, a slight shade of red capturing the apples of her cheeks. "Let me take a picture of you." She quickly hid her face, awkwardly shaking her head. "Oh, come on. Everyone deserves to see how damn cute you are!" He raised his phone and Sunny posed, her expression uncomfortable.

The whole time they were out, Sunny had never felt so loved. His arm never left her waist and he showered her with kisses and compliments. She melted into his embrace. He walked her through the park, his jacket over her arms, their hands intertwined. The pale moonlight reflected on the surface of the Han river like a painting. She stopped once they were in the center of the bridge. Her eyes casted over the water, taking in the twinkling details and the way the crisp air felt against her reddened cheeks. "You're birthday is soon," Junhui hummed, fitting his body behind her. His arms wrapped securely around her waist, his chin resting on her shoulder. She felt like they were in a romance film. "I know," she huffed.

He gingerly moved her hair from her neck, placing the heavy curls to the other side. She sighed at the feeling of his soft lips pressing feather light kisses to her warm skin. "I want to celebrate with you," he whispered, breathing in her soft perfume. The pretty, vanilla fragrance was tainted with the smell of brewed coffee and wet grass. He inhaled heavily, pressing a slightly rougher kiss to the junction where her shoulder and neck meet. Her eyes fluttered closed for a moment. Her body fell into his, letting him control her for the time being. "I want to take you out and treat you like the queen you are.." His soft spoken words were mellifluous in her ears. She felt like putty in his hand, melting in his touch. His teeth grazed the skin of her neck, eliciting a gasp.

"We, um, we actually have a party planned already," she vocalized, dropping her head. She tried to shake the familiar feeling of want warming inside her abdomen. Junhui hummed, his fingers trailing up and down her sides. He liked having her so close. It felt like she was connected to him. "Am I invited?" She picked her head up and let it rest against his shoulder. Immediately, his lips connecting with her jaw, nipping at the skin gently. She squeezed her eyes closed, her thighs tightening beneath her. "Y–Yeah, sure," she replied. Her mind was fuzzy with a newfound need. When she felt him smirk against her skin, she turned in his grasp. She gripped the nape of his neck and brought his face down to meet hers, capturing his lips in a hungry kiss.

All of her thoughts had been jumbled. All she could focus on now was his large hands roaming her body, grabbing places she needed him to grab. Her mind scrambled the moment his tongue lapped hers, and she knew then that she was stuck. The break up would have to wait a little longer. Sunny deserved to be selfish. Right?
