THE BUILDING wasn't unfamiliar. Sunny had navigated the floors many times before with the boys, but this was different. She walked amidst the girls, leading the way toward Hitman Bang's office resided. Soyeon knocked against the wooden door. She was probably the least nervous out of the group. They could faintly hear Bang PD's words of approval before they pushed the door open. The boys already sat there and anxiety rose in two of the girls chest. The girls stood on the opposite side of the room, bowing before Bang PD. "Hello, girls," he greeted calmly. Sunny felt chest tighten. Her eyes traveled across the room to find Namjoon's, the boy smiling assuringly at her. "I suppose you're wondering what you're doing here." — "Yes, sir," Soyeon replied, her soft eyes meeting the elder.

"Well, we decided to do a song featuring you." Silence ensued, both groups looking over at one another in surprise. A song? Wow! Soyeon smiled wide, grabbing Miyeon's hand beside her. "Thank you, sir! That's amazing!" the now blonde exclaimed. Eunnie and Sunny shared two very similar and excited grins, clasping their hands together. Bangtan cheered as well, clapping their hands. "The track will be a ballad; a love song." Each of the groups nodded. Hoseok was the first to cross the room, taking Minnie into a hug before moving toward Sunny. He hugged each girl before Jungkook moved up to them. The male hugged Eunnie the longest time before their attention shifted once more to Bang. "We'll divide you into two groups. Half of you will work here on the song, the other half at Cube Entertainment," he explained. Immediately, the groups began to intermingle.

Namjoon looked toward Sunny as she hugged Jin tight, her eyes squeezed closed. He didn't want to work without her. He began to move when Soyeon stopped him. She looked up to the male, crossing her arms for a moment. "We should split up. A leader with a group," she suggested. His eyebrows raised at her sentence. He wasn't really focused on anyone else at the moment. "Uh, okay. Sure." She eyed him for a moment longer before she nodded her head. "Okay." Both parted, Namjoon moving to catch Sunny. "I'm grouping with Eunnie," Jimin voiced, causing the rest of the groups to roll their eyes. "As will I!" Jungkook voiced, but Soyeon stopped him. "Why don't we split the siblings? Make it fair?"

Sunny wrapped her arm around Jungkook's waist with a smile. "Don't leave me alone with these weirdos, Kook-ah," she joked. Jin scoffed. "Looks like Jimin's the preferred twin right now." The broad shouldered male moved to stand beside the slightly older Park twin. Sunny feigned hurt, placing her hand on her chest. "I'll pair up with you," Namjoon voiced, finally reaching Sunny and Jungkook. Both looked up to him with sparkly eyes, both excited about working with the leader of Bangtan. "Ah, I'll join your group too!" Hoseok exclaimed, throwing his arm around Namjoon's shoulder. It was obvious to Namjoon that Hobi had a plan. The details were still fuzzy, but the plan was in motion. He could feel it. "Yay!" Sunny cheered. "Let me grab Minnie, okay?" The three boys nodded to the orange haired girl.

"RM, why don't you and your group stay here since you know your space and I'll take my group back to Cube." Soyeon was full of ideas. Namjoon nodded in agreement, and it was set. Yoongi, Namjoon, Hoseok, Jungkook, Minnie, Miyeon, and Sunny stayed behind at the BigHit building, the rest of the two groups leaving to Cube. Namjoon lead the way to the studios. Hoseok had agreed to let Minnie in his studio, while Miyeon and Yoongi decided to work together. Of course, that left Jungkook and Sunny with Namjoon. "Jungkook-ah. Why don't you join me and Minnie?" Hobi asked, knowing that Namjoon wanted alone time with Sunny. The leader narrowed his eyes at Hoseok. His plan was commencing. What is going through his head?

"No thanks," Jungkook replied, pushing into Namjoon's studio. Hoseok released a sigh, but turned and entered his own space, leaving Sunny and Namjoon standing outside. "Go in first," he told the female with a shy smile. She nodded her head and tucked her freshly dyed hair behind her ear. He followed in after her, spotting Jungkook already sitting in his desk chair. Sunny sat awkwardly on the small couch while Namjoon began a search. He was looking for loose paper, plucking pens from a cup on his desk. "So, are we doing a romantic song?" Jungkook asked, turning the chair in circles. Namjoon chuckled at the young member. "I guess so," he replied, grabbing a new pack of paper. He turned to face the two, spotting Sunny scratching at her sleeve. She was nervous. Was she uncomfortable?

"Why love songs? They're so dull!" the maknae whined, his head hitting the back of the chair. He halted his spinning, his head slowly rolling. "They aren't dull," Sunny argued, her eyes fixated on the younger boy. He raised his eyebrows, beckoning for her to explain. "You're just saying that because you've never been in love with someone." Jungkook scoffed. Of course he had, right? He's had at least two girlfriends before he began training. "You haven't either, noona," he finally retaliated, crossing his arms over his chest, pouting like a child. Namjoon sat down on the opposite side of the couch silently. "Yes, I have." She glared at Jungkook as he scoffed in disbelief. "Oh with whom? Junhui?" Jungkook scoffed. "Let's be real, the only ones who have a real romance right now are your twin and my sister!" he exclaimed. Namjoon sighed. Why was this so hard?

Sunny rolled her eyes at the name mentioned. Though she had come to terms with the fact their love had been fake all along, the name still seemed to tear at healing wounds. "Not Junhui," she spoke quietly, nervously tucking her orange colored hair behind her ears. Both Jungkook and Namjoon turned to look at the girl in shock. "Wh–What? Is there someone else?" Kook asked. He leaned forward in the chair, the wheels squeaking beneath him. Sunny tried to fight the blush from her cheeks as she laughed. "I guess you could say that." Jungkook scooted the chair closer to Sunny until he was parked right in front of her. "Tell me! I'm good at keeping secrets!"

Her eyes snapped toward Namjoon before finding Kook's eyes once again. Her cheeks were redder than a tomato at this point. What are you waiting for?, she thought. Stop being a wimp. She cleared her throat nervously, her eyes peering down at her hands sitting in her lap. "He's in the room," she whispered for Jungkook to hear, glancing toward Namjoon. His heart swelled at her words. His cheeks reddened as he dropped his head, dimples prominent in his cheeks. "Oh my- you're disgusting!" Jungkook exclaimed with a laugh. "Namjoon hyung! She has a crush on you!" A noise of embarrassment left the girl's lips as she hid her face behind her hands. "Guk!" she whined. He only laughed, continuing his pestering. Sunny was glad that her phone rang in that moment. The ID said Soojin.

She stood, leaving Jungkook to his mission of tackling Namjoon onto the couch. "Soojin," she greeted with a slight smile. "Is Jungkook with you? I couldn't reach him." Sunny glanced over to the boys. Namjoon attempted to get the maknae off of himself. "He's busy right now. What's wrong?" She held the phone closer to her ear as Soojin began to explain the situation at the Cube building. Once the words had finally registered in her mind, the Park twin gasped. "Is she okay?" she asked, her voice soft. She didn't want to alarm Jungkook. The two Jeon siblings had been through enough already. "I believe so. Jimin is taking her back to their dorm and told us to continue working." She twisted a lock of hair around her slim finger, releasing a small sigh. "Is he sure? We can get there soon—"

"As much as I want to comfort Eunnie right now, we have a deadline set on this song. Just work hard and we'll see her after," Soojin explained, her voice authoritative. "Okay... Thank you for calling." And with that, the call ended. Jungkook and Joon were both staring at Sunny now, waiting for her to turn. She quickly made sure she hadn't teared up, patting her cheeks to check their color. "What was it?" Namjoon asked. He succeeded in shoving Jungkook off, the Jeon taking his place back onto the spinning chair. She turned, flashing a sweet smile. "Soojin called and, um, Eunnie had a little breakdown. But Jimin took her back to the dorms and they say she's better," she explained. Jungkook looked shocked. "Are we going too?" he asked, tearing his eyes away from Sunny to Namjoon. "She and Jimin both said to stay at the studios and work on the songs. That way, when you get back, you can see her..."

Namjoon noticed the uncomfortable glint in the girl's eyes. Everyone knew how close Sunny and Eunjeong had once been. They had trained together. "Then that settles it, right? Let's get to work. The quicker we finish, the quicker we can go home." Sunny looked gratefully at Namjoon, once again taking her seat on the couch. Only this time, she sat next to him, their shoulders brushing. "I do want to ask you a question, though." She hummed for him to continue as she gathered her supplies onto her lap. Jungkook eyed the two curiously. "Would you want to go on a date with me?" Jungkook gagged loudly, a giggle slipping past Sunny's lips. Namjoon shoved the wheeled chair back, ignoring his words of protest. "I would love to," she replied, her cheeks a rosy shade. "Yeah?" His eyes sparkled with excitement as she nodded her head. "Great. Now I'm the third wheel."

Jungkook pouted his lips, picking up his discarded pen. "God, now we're going to have two couples in the dorms," he whispered to himself. "Noona," the boy whined. She lifted her gaze from the words written on her paper with a smile. "Yes, Kook-ah?" He wore his best puppy dog face, and Namjoon felt himself start to sweat. "Yah! Don't do that," he scolded the maknae. "What?" the boy asked curiously. Sunny giggled at the two. "I know about how you two liked each other before!" Sunny leaned over, resting her head against Namjoon's shoulder. "Don't worry, Joonie. My heart belongs to you and only you."
