SUNNY GATHERED her things silently. Yoongi, Jimin, Minnie, and Seokjin stood around her, all nervously awaiting her departure. "I can come with. I can kick his ass," Yoongi offered. Her eyes met his for a brief moment, and he could tell that she was set on her plan. She wore one of Jimin's hoodies and a pair of his sweatpants so she could give Eunnie her clothes back. "I can handle it now. I'm ready." Jimin reached forward and ruffled his sister's hair with a proud smirk. "Proud of you, Sunny-ah." She swatted his hand away as a small smile caressed her lips. "Fighting!" Jin spoke, raising his fists. Sunny quickly gave each of her friends a hug, pulling their energy to help her go through with this. Their positivity made her sloshy mind grow calm.

"Go kill him, tiger," Minnie giggled as she pushed Sunny toward the door. She waved goodbye to her people, slipping through the dorms and forcing her way down the steps. There was a bad feeling residing in her chest. She knew that everything could go terribly wrong. He's going to get mad and she couldn't predict how he would react. Yet, she knew Soyeon, Miyeon, and Soojin were back at the dorms. If anything were to happen, she would have back up. She got into the car given to drive her back, sitting silently in the passenger seat as the driver sped off. She normally spoke to the people keeping her safe to make things less tense, but her mind was in a whirlwind. She was drifting away and she was scared to reach shore again.

Despite the awkwardness in her movements, she thanked the driver and wished him well before moving up the steps to the door. It didn't take long for one of the girls to answer and, soon, she could hear the sound of another vehicle parking. With worrisome eyes, Junhui waved at his girlfriend before exiting his own vehicle. "You look cute," he mentioned as he climbed the steps behind her. Sunny looked toward Soojin, who rolled her eyes at the Chinese idol. "We'll talk in my room, okay?" He nodded, quickly grabbing her hand and lacing their fingers together before she could pull away. "Okay. That's fine." The couple moved into the dorm and Sunny quickly pulled Junhui toward her bedroom. Once he was inside, she cracked the door, leaving it open a little for the girls to hear in case she needs help.

"Ah, feeling adventurous today, hm?" She turned to face her stone faced boyfriend. The politeness from before had disappeared and in its place was an angry Junhui. He sat on her bed, his arms crossed as his narrowed gaze tried to pick apart what Sunny was feeling. "I didn't bring you here to have sex, Junhui," she explained nervously. Her heart was beating erratically in her chest. Just the look in his eyes made her mind fog up. "Then why did you bring me here?" he asked menacingly, standing from his spot at the end of her bed. He took slow steps in her direction, his dark eyes focused on the blush creeping along her neck. "Are you finally going to apologize?" — "Apologize? For what?" she asked, shaking her head clean of any unclean thoughts.

"You're my girlfriend, Chinsun. And you threw me out like trash last night." He was closer now. His hand cupped her cheek, his thumb grazing over her bottom lip. She stared up at him in disbelief. "You humiliated me in front of my twin; my friends," she hissed. The hostility in her voice surprised the idol in front of her. "I didn't humiliate you, babe," he stated. "I just gave them a piece of my mind; what I think about them and your supposed best friend." She glared at him. Her mind was reeling with insults. She wanted to shove him away. "How was that not humiliating me, Junhui? You were describing my sex face!" He grinned down at the girl. He towered over her in height, and though she seemed not to care now, he knew he could use it to his advantage soon enough.

"I was marking my territory. Someone had to show him that you're a taken woman." His hand gripped her neck, tangling with her dark locks. Her eyes lifted to meet his heated stare and the words tumbled off her lips. "I- I think we should break up," she whispered. He stepped back glancing at her. "Fine." Fine? Did he really just say that?, she thought to herself. Her eyebrows pinched in confusion as he tussled his hair. "I never truly loved you anyway." Her eyes widened at his remark. "What?" She could feel the anger from before float away, a stronger emotion taking over. He scoffed in disbelief. He was so calm. "Did you really think someone like me could fall for someone like you?" he questioned her. She blinked, still at a loss for words.

"The only reason I talked to you in the first place was to sleep with you and you were so eager to put out. It was disgusting, really, but who am I to say no?" Tears blurred her vision. She broke her gaze with him, her eyes darting anywhere in the room. "You're lying," she croaked out, wiping at the wetness beneath her eyes. "I wish I was. The only tolerable thing about you was that you were so submissive. You listened to every word I said and never complained." He smirked, taking in her reaction. She felt her body flood with sorrow, her shoulders slumping for a moment. "You were nice while you lasted."

"You're a pig!" she spat, placing her hands at his chest and shoving him hard. He stumbled back, amusement twinkling within his hard eyes. "You're desperate," he virtuber. She shoved him again, but this time he caught her wrists. "Do you really think he loves you? You're nothing but a desperate little girl with dreams too big." — "Shut up," she spat, ripping her wrists from his hold. "You're disgusting. I can't believe I gave myself to you." He shrugged his broad shoulders. He took pride in the way she reacted to his words. "Get out," she demanded. He lifted a brow at the girl as she felt her rage heat up her cheeks. "I said get out!" Her voice lifted an octave, cracking upon the last word. Without another word from him, he brushed past her, knocking her out of the way, and left the tense atmosphere, the front door slamming behind him.

She watched as he left the room, her eyes spilling with tears. How could she have been so stupid? The first to enter was Soojin, her eyes wide. "Sunny," she breathed out. Sunny's eyes met hers and before she knew it, her body was collapsing. Soojin caught the girl before she could hurt herself, her arms wrapped tight around her as she sobbed. Despite knowing that she wanted the relationship to end, it still hurt. "You did it," the vocalist cooed, smoothing down the girl's hair. "It's over."

Nightfall was soon approaching. The colors were present in the sky, creating a beautiful glow that almost made Sunny's heart warm. Yet, the troubles of the day still clouded her mind. She had changed into her own clothes after showering to rid herself of the events the day held, but there was still something she needed to do. She stood outside the BTS dorms, her eyes holding fresh tears. She knocked again before deciding to take matters in her own hands. Just as she was about to get their spare key, she heard the lock click and the door was pulled open. Her eyes met Namjoon's and a thousand butterflies were set free within her. His eyes widened at the puffiness of her eyes. "Have you been crying?" he asked.

She pushed the question away and pushed herself into his body. Her small arms wrapped around his waist, her face burying into his shirt. Namjoon's heart raced at the contact and he knew she could hear it. There was no doubt in his mind that she knew of the affects she had on him. Slowly, his arms wrapped around her body as he began to move backwards, bringing her into the comfort of the building. "Who—" Jimin's sentence halted abruptly upon seeing his twin wrapped up in Namjoon's arms. The older member was still oblivious about the events of the day. He had locked himself in his room until she left, too ashamed to meet her eyes. "What did he do?" the male Park asked, his jaw tensing. Sunny shook her head, afraid that if she repeated his words, she would fall apart. "I need to know," he pushed.

She pulled away from Namjoon, her hands instinctively moving to wipe away her small tears. "He said that he didn't love me," she whispered. She drew in a shaky breath, ignoring the angered gleam in her brother's eyes. "That I'm desperate.. an–and.." She covered her eyes, cursing silently. She didn't want to cry over him anymore. She just wanted it all to go away. "Sunny," Namjoon spoke gently, his large hand taking her elbow. His touch was so different from Junhui's. He was so tender. She flinched, though, letting her hands fall against her thighs. "No, he, um.. He basically said that he liked me because I did everything he said.." Namjoon felt his heart break just seeing the pain behind her eyes. "I'm a joke," she cried, her shoulders finally falling as a choked sob fell past her parted lips. "I'm pathetic."

He wanted nothing more than to kill the man who had torn the light from Sunny's eyes. He missed seeing the stars in her eyes and the warmth of her smile. He missed the crescent moons her eyes became when she laughed. He hesitantly grabbed her trembling hand, her eyes flickering toward his. "Can I show you something?" he asked, his lips quirking into a small smile. She glanced toward Jimin before finding his gaze once more, her head bobbing in a nod. "I'm going to take you to mine and Yoongi's room, and then I'm going to get the surprise. Okay?" She nodded again, letting the taller man lead her toward the short hall. Lucky for Namjoon, Yoongi had left for his studio. He stated he would be there late, but would eventually be back to sleep.

She was silent, maneuvering through his room until he pushed her to sit onto the end of his bed. "You can get comfortable. I'll be right back." She watched as his figure left, the door still wide open. She scrambled into the bed, pulling his warm blankets over her. She snuggled into the comforter, breathing in his natural scent that always made her cheeks grow warm. She sighed, feeling safe within the confinement of those four walls. Two minutes later, she caught sight of a faint orange glow moving against the opposite wall. Her eyebrows furrowed in curiosity. Before she could stand to inspect the strange sighting, she spotted the candles lit atop a cake. She gasped. It was her birthday cake.

The light of the candles casted shadows over Namjoon's face. He was smiling at the creation he had came up with, his dimples prominent in his cheeks. Her eyes locked on the beautifully decorated cake as he neared. "I know it isn't your birthday anymore, but I thought you'd want to blow out the candles anyway." The base color of the cake was green and blue, the colors separated by a thin white strip with rock like dots lining it. A brown bench sat amidst the green, cherry blossom leaves littering the surface. She bit back a noise of approval. It was the park, their bench, in her favorite season. Her eyes flickered back to Namjoon's, noticing that he was already staring at her. "You.." She drew in a sharp breath, her mind incapable of forming words.

"Go ahead. Blow them out," he chuckled. She tore her eyes from his for a moment, focusing on the white candles sitting in the back of the cake. She squeezed her eyes closed for a moment before blowing out the orange light, smoke wafting up into the air. Namjoon placed the cake on the end of his bed, staring proudly at the masterpiece. "Thank you," she whispered, her hand coming to rest upon his. Her fingers slid between his. A soft smile formed on his face as his cheeks warmed, blushing. "It wasn't a problem," he laughed. What a man.
