HER MIND raced with unpleasant thoughts the moment she spotted Hoseok and Seokjin walking toward them. Junhui's hand slid inside her back pocket as he plastered a smile onto his face. "Hey, you two. How's it going?" Jin asked, smiling at both Sunny and Junhui. "You left in quite a rush last night, Sunny-ah. Is everything okay?" She quickly nodded in reply with a slight laugh. "Yeah! We had a bit of a spat, but we're okay now." She tilted her head up to look at her boyfriend, who continued to size Hoseok up. Hoseok smirked over at the male and crossed his arms over his chest. "Ah, well, we hope you'll come back soon. We miss you," Jin voiced, reaching forward and pinching Sunny's cheek. She smiled wide at the boy, nodding. "Of course!"

"Where are you two off to?" Hoseok asked. Junhui's lips curled into a smirk as he chuckled. Everyone's eyes turned to the Chinese idol. "We were getting breakfast before heading to the gym. We've got to stay in tip top shape. You two know how it is." The underlying tension within his words made Sunny shift on her feet. Hoseok narrowed his eyes at the male as he nodded slowly. "We do," he replied. Jin clasped his hand on Hoseok's shoulder. "Why don't you guys join us at practice? Since you're dating our Chinsunie, we should get to know you." Junhui's jaw tightened. Before he could decline their offer, a very excited 'yes!' slipped past Sunny's lips. Junhui turned to glare at his girlfriend, but she didn't seem to mind. "It'll be fun!" she cheered.

Hoseok and Seokjin both beamed at the small female as she bounced on her toes. "We just need to pick up lunch and then we'll be off." Sunny hugged Junhui's waist despite the tenseness of his muscles. He didn't want to go to their practice. He could care less about getting to know them, yet he was allowing her to pull him behind her. He released a heavy breath and relaxed in Sunny's grip, his eyes watching the two members of BTS move toward a small chicken restaurant. They placed their orders and before they knew it, they were grabbing the bags and leading the couple back toward the BigHit building. Sunny was excited. She loved the boys; they were like her second family. She wanted Junhui to love them too.

The elevator ride felt the most awkward. With Sunny pressed against Junhui, Hoseok and Jin had to fight the urge to roll their eyes. Junhui's nose was nuzzled into Sunny's hair as he wrapped his arms around her from behind. If they didn't already know how toxic Junhui was, they might have thought that the two were quite cute. She traced small patterns over his hands before they were both jostled by the elevator halting. Excitement began to bubble within the girl again as the thought of seeing the group members became more real. "After you two," Jin spoke with a smile, allowing Sunny to exit first. She took Junhui's larger hand in her own and began pulling him toward the practice room. She had been inside that building so many times, she could probably navigate through with a blindfold on.

She knocked against the door before pushing it open, revealing her beaming smile. The boys all cheered upon seeing her, moving to greet her until they spotted the Chinese idol behind her. She didn't notice the change in the atmosphere. She only waved excitedly at the boys and moved out of the way to let Hoseok and Seokjin enter behind them. "Chinsunie!" Yoongi greeted, making a show out of his movements. He didn't care that Junhui's eyes shot daggers at him while he crossed the room, pulling his best friend into his embrace. She almost melted into the sweet contact, but composed herself quick enough for Junhui not to notice. When Yoongi pulled away, he pinched the girl's cheek as he exposed his gummy smile. "Hey, Yoon," she smiled, her cheeks a new shade of red. He backed away enough to allow the next person to greet her.

Taehyung's arms wrapped tight around her waist, lifting her feet from the ground. His nose buried itself in her curly locks, breathing in her sweet scent. "Hi, Tae," she giggled, her arms tight around his neck. Her cheeks squished against his head. "Did you eat?" he asked the moment her feet planted on the ground, tucking her hair behind her ears. The boys had always been touchy with Chinsun. It was a sign of comfort between them all, and when Namjoon didn't move to hug her, she felt a pang inside her chest that resembled a stab. "We did. We actually ate some kimchi. I haven't had it in a while." The boy nodded along with her words until she turned to spot Jungkook. "What's he doing here?" The youngest glared at Junhui, a fire set deep within his cold, brown eyes. Sunny pouted at his reaction. "Kook-ah."

"Look." All heads turned toward Junhui as he spoke up. His eyes were locked with Jungkook's. He couldn't actually believe what he was about to do, yet the words seemed to roll off his tongue with ease. "I'm sorry about the other night. When it comes to Chinsun, I can get a little overprotective. I'm sure you all understand that, right?" The room fell silent. Of course, the Bangtan boys weren't buying into his words one bit. Hoseok knew what type of guy Junhui was, and he had briefed the group— all but Namjoon, of course, who had yet to truly come back to the dorms. "She's important to me." Sunny laced her fingers with Junhui's and smiled proudly back at the male. Her ample cheeks had tinted pink, her eyes sparkling with adoration. "Awe," she giggled, poking his bicep before wrapping her arms around his arm.

"It's all good, then," Jungkook replied, shocking the members around him. "Noona is very special. And she deserves the best." He stared back at Junhui, hoping the message was clear. No one thought Junhui was the best. None of them even wanted him in the same vicinity as their Sunny. Junhui's grip tightened on Sunny's fingers only for a moment before he forced a smile on his lips. "You're right," he chuckled. Jungkook turned away from the idol, catching Jimin's gaze. The twin had yet to greet his sister, but he was hesitant on moving in. That is, until their eyes met and both mirrored their happiness to see one another. Sunny bounded toward her twin and wrapped her arms around his neck while his snaked around her waist, their eyes closed in bliss. "You don't talk to me," Jimin mumbled softly. She sighed. "The phone goes two ways," she replied.

He pulled away to look at his sister. There was something off. Her dark eyes weren't as bright as he recalled, or maybe it was just his worries clouding his mind. But he kissed her forehead and released her. "You shouldn't go so long without contact, Sunny. We miss you." Her thin lips fell into a pout. She nervously tucked her hair away from her face, avoiding eye contact with her brother. She didn't want to tell him why she hadn't contacted him. She didn't want him to worry, nor did she want him to jump to any conclusions. "I know, Jimin-ssi. I don't plan on doing that again." Finally, her eyes raked over Namjoon sitting away from the group. She could see his face through the mirror. His eyes were sunken in, decorated with large, dark bags. His hair was unkempt, and the hoodie on his frame seemed to engulf him. "Is Joon alright?" she asked, her voice hushed.

Jimin couldn't answer that. Namjoon was far from okay and seeing her there could have sent him over the edge. "We should eat up before the food gets cold!" Hoseok's booming voice carried through the dance room and all of the boys immediately began running toward him. All except Namjoon. Sunny bit down on her bottom lip, unsure of what to do or what to say if she went with the option of approaching him. She glanced over her shoulder to see Junhui focused on Hoseok, and the boys were happily fixing their own plates. With zero eyes on her, she took the opportunity and moved toward Namjoon. His posture was slumped, his hand clutched around his phone as he shakily scrolled through his twitter feed. She sighed as she sat beside him on the hard wood floor, attracting his eyes toward her. "Hey." He tore his eyes away from her almost as quickly as they had found her.

"Taehyung told me that you've been locked up in your studio a lot recently." She wrapped her arms around her knees, resting her chin on her knee. Her eyes stayed locked on the side of Namjoon's head, where she could only truly see his cute nose and full lips peeking out of his hood. "I've been busy," he replied flatly. He flinched, himself, at the tone of his voice. She hesitantly reached out, her fingers brushing the fabric of his hood before pulling it back. "Are you okay, Joonie?" He sighed at the feeling of her fingers in his hair. It was a common thing she did when comforting the members. Almost all of them loved having their hair played with, a few making the action a little perverted. "Of course I'm okay," he replied, finally locking eyes with the Park twin. Her hand slipped from his hair to caress his cheek, her thumb gliding over the smooth skin. Her actions almost caused Namjoon to faint.

"Working like this is going to hurt you. You need to rest." Her hand finally fell to her side before her arm wrapped around her knees again. Namjoon glanced down at the long sleeve of her shirt. He heard of the things Junhui had done to her, and he was scared. He was scared that one day, he may catch a glimpse of the injuries and lose control. His eyes darted back up to Sunny's concern filled eyes and he sighed again. "You don't look like you're sleeping, Joon oppa." — "You shouldn't worry so much about me, Sunny. I'm a grown man, right?" Despite the want of keeping his voice soft, he couldn't fight the poisonous tone that laced with his words. She looked taken aback by the sudden change, but quickly shook her head. "I'm sorry... You're my friend, and I should be helping you." Her eyes drifted toward her shoes. Her heart pounding inside her throat as tears threatened to build behind her mahogany colored eyes.

"It's okay... I'm going to go eat now, okay?" She nodded to his words and watched as he got up from his spot. He flashed her a forced, closed lip smile before moving toward the rest of the boys. She kind of regretted walking over to Namjoon, but never knew how much regret she would feel afterward.
