THEIR HEAVY breathing seemed to be the only thing Sunny could hear as they finished their routine for the judges. The others around them clapped. They had done amazing. All of the practice had paid off, surely. "Okay. Next." Eunnie and Chinsun locked eyes from their positions, both sporting beaming smiles. Somi pulled Sunny along as they all vividly and animatedly started cheering each other on, complimenting them all on their hard work and performance. Once they reached the end of the room, Chinsun pulled Eunjeong's sweaty body into her arms as they both squealed in excitement. "We did it!" the eldest giggled once they broke apart, their hands still interlocked. "They liked it, right? I mean, they smiled!"

"I'd say we killed it," Seokyoung cheered, a proud smile on her face. Somi smiled bright. The girls, though still clearly out of breath, found themselves wanting to run around or leap for joy. Sunny closed her eyes tight, squeezing her hands in front of her. I can reach the stars, she told herself. I can do anything. Somi wrapped her long arms around the Park girl's waist, pulling her out of her thoughts. "I just want you to know that if we get separated, you're still my friend." Sunny pouted at the girl before she nodded her head. "Same here." The groups continued to dance on, and the girls were starting to get anxious. Jungha was pulled to the side first, and walked out of the dance room with another group of girls. Eunnie and Sunny watched as each of their members left, feeling defeated.

It was nearing the end of the rehearsals when Chinsun and Eunjeong were both called. The two girls glanced at one another before they scrambled to their feet. "We did good, right?" Eunjeong whispered. Her chest seemed to tighten as her nerves worsened with each step toward the person who had called their name. "We did, don't worry." Sunny locked her fingers with Eunnie's and lead the way toward the male with a shy smile on her face. He lead them into another room, closing the door behind them. "Park Chinsun and Jeon Eunjeong?" he asked the two, to which both nodded sheepishly. He held a clipboard out in front of him. Their stats were written down messily, but they were clear about one thing. "You've both been assigned to a group under Cube Entertainment."

It was like everything disappeared around them. Eunjeong's eyes widened as her jaw dropped. Sunny gasped and was quick to cover her gaping mouth with her hand. "Congratulations, girls," he said with a wide smile. An excited squeal ripped through Sunny's throat as she bounced beside Eunjeong. "Thank you! Thank you!" they both cheered, bowing to the male before facing each other. "We did it!" Eunnie giggled, wrapping her arms around a still bouncing Sunny. The two girls rocked on their feet as the adrenaline pushed through their bodies. "We have to celebrate, right? I'll buy the drinks!" Eunnie didn't protest. She also didn't want to admit that she still hadn't truly had her first taste of alcohol. What could go wrong?

To answer your question, a lot. Chinsun sat on a bar stool, half of her body pushed up against an unstable and flirty Eunjeong. It was obvious both girls were beyond drunk and the bar tender was getting to where he was about to cut the girls off. "We're going to be idols," Sunny giggled as she clutched onto the younger girl. Eunnie cheered, clapping her small hands, almost knocking Chinsun off of her seat. Before the girl could lose her balance, a pair of strong arms held her at her waist and settled her back onto her seat. "You should probably be more careful," the voice chuckled. Eunnie's eyes widened at the male that stood behind her friend. He was handsome. Sunny whirled around to finally face the man. She gulped noticeably.

"Th–thank you!" she replied, shakily moving her crazy hair from her face. He only grinned at her. He rested his elbow against the counter and leaned on it a few inches away from where she sat. "I'm Wen Junhui," he introduced himself, holding out his hand for her to shake. "Park Chinsun. This is my friend Jeon Eunjeong." She wrapped her hand around his and was about to shake it when he pulled it forward, bringing the back of her hand to his lips and placing a gentle kiss to the skin. Her cheeks were on fire at the action. "Do you have a ride home? Or someone I can call? You're both very drunk." Sunny turned to Eunnie, who quickly shook her head. Jungkook would absolutely kill her if he found out she was drunk.

"We were just celebrating! We, um, we were just assigned to a group." Junhui's eyebrows rose in surprise at her words. Obviously, both girls had the looks to be idols. They were gorgeous, and unique. Yet, their actions spoke otherwise. "Really? I'm actually in a group. Have you heard of SEVENTEEN?" he asked, leaning in closer to Sunny's face. Her eyes widened at the mentioned group. "Oh, I do!" Eunnie exclaimed, slapping at Sunny's arm. "Don't wanna cry, right? That's one of your songs?" Junhui nodded with a side smirk. "Yeah. You like it?" Both girls nodded, too absorbed in staring at his ruggedly handsome features. "How about I take you two home so you can rest and sober up?" Sunny's mouth opened to speak, but no words came out. She only nodded, unsure as to why she would agree to the idea.

Junhui lead the two outside where his car sat. They got in, shyly waiting for him to start it and ask for directions. He climbed into the driver's seat and buckled himself in before pushing the start button to the car. "Alright. Where are we going?" Sunny pointed forward in the direction of her apartment. It was probably safer for the two to stay there anyway. He put the car in drive and began to hum along to the stereo, taking every turn Sunny told him to. It took about twenty five minutes for him to reach her apartment building, parking right across the street. "Oh," Sunny breathed out, spotting Eunjeong passed out against the left back door. "I can carry her up," Junhui offered.

Sunny lead the way as the male carried an out cold Jeon up the concrete steps to her apartment. The cold air and alcohol had made her cheeks red and puffy. "Here we are," she announced, her words breathless, and unlocked her front door. She allowed Junhui to enter first and instructed him to lay Eunnie on the sofa. "You've got a nice place," he hummed, taking in the many art pieces on the walls. No one knew that most of them came from Taehyung as surprise birthday presents. She liked his presents the most, being that they were hand crafted and just bursting with love. "Thank you," she replied shyly. Junhui's eyes ran over the female's figure, taking in her small frame and her wild curls that were pushed back from her face. "You're really beautiful, too."

Color spread across her cheeks as she laughed at his statement. "I'm drunk," she began, turning to face Junhui fully. "Can I have your number?" She stared at him for a second. He took her silence as a rejection. "I didn't want to leave without asking..." — "No, yes! Yes, you can have my number. Can I see your phone?" He quickly nodded and pulled the device from his pocket. It wasn't password protected, which Chinsun found odd but she ignored that fact and clicked onto his contacts, adding her own. "Okay," she breathed out, handing him back his cellphone. "Goodnight." He waved at the swaying girl as he made his way back toward her front door. When she heard the door click shut, she threw herself onto the couch beside a sleeping Eunnie.

"We're going to be idols, Eunnie," she whispered before breaking out into a long, tired yawn. "We're going to be idols..."
