Prologue
Picture is Lan lol
"Valerie! Run!"
I turned back to see Foxy being held down by Bonnie, and growled.
"I won't leave you!"
Foxy looked up, his eyes playful. "You have to! You have to find the magical golden bear!"
I tried not to giggle, took a deep breath, and took off. Bonnie hopped off of Foxy and followed. I was fast, but he was faster. The purple rabbit caught up to me, making me drop my stuffed rabbit Lan.
"Lan!" I cried, and struggled to get up. Bonnie looked at me, then at Lan. He hopped off me and grabbed the stuffed gray bunny, holding it above his head.
"Give me Lan back!" I whimpered. Tears were starting to fall. Lan was all I had of my old home.
Where ever that was.
Freddy and Mike had always told me I was special. I had dreams of being in a nice, warm room, holding Lan. Someone would kneel over me as I was in my crib, and pick me up. The person would hold me close.
"I love you, my little Princess Valerie."
But then something would burst through the door, and the person would scream. That's where the dream ended.
But now, Lan had been taken away from me. How dare he, that stupid Bonnie! My distress made me angry.
"Give me Lan, you Easter Bunny!" I snarled. I was taller and bulkier, but I was small and quick.
I heard Foxy, who had gotten up, gasp. Bonnie's eyes widened, but then they narrowed in anger.
"What did you say, cat?"
I was stupid. I raced at Bonnie, and slipped between his legs, tripping him. He fell, but held on tight to Lan. I got up and pounced on him, digging my short but needle-sharp metal claws into his cloth. He shrieked, and threw Lan. I hoped up and grabbed him, and was about to deal another blow to Bonnie for good measures, when something grabbed my shirt collar from behind.
I was turned around, and was faced with angry amber eyes.
"What do you think you're doing?" Mangle growled. I flinched. My adoptive older sister looked cuddly on the outside. But if you make her angry or disobey... well... don't do that.
"B-Bonnie took Lan, s-so I got him back?" I stuttered. I was genuinely terrified. The only time I'm ever scared is when I'm confronted by Mangle. I know she never wanted to take me in. But Chica was already caring for Bonnie and Foxy, Marion had the Balloon Twins, and T-Chi had BonBon. Cassie was free, but Mike chose Mangle, for safety reasons.
"W-we were just playing a game, Mangle. But Bonnie went too far and took Lan. You know how Valerie is about him."
We both turned to see Foxy walking up. He looked his sister square in the eye, never flinching. I admired his courage, but was angry at the same time. I don't need someone else looking out for me!
Mangle sighed and turned as Mike walked in, followed by Fritz. I brightened. The young red-haired cheery teenager was fun, and she never got mad at me. She would read me to sleep, and play with me with Lan.
"Mangle, let it rest. Stephen can look at Bonnie. I'm sure he'll be okay," Mike said.
Mangle sighed and backed off. Fritz took my hand, and led me to backstage. Back there, we went into a steel door, and into the room I share with Foxy and Mangle. She picked me up, and we sat on the bound of blankets I used as my bed. She told me to pick a story, so I picked my favorite of them all: Peter Pan. She read to me, and before long, I was close to sleep.
As Fritz got to the part where the Lost Boys accidentally shot down Wendy (which actually happens in the real story. Don't worry, they missed :3), I heard arguing.
It took me a second, but I soon recognized the voices of Freddy and Mike. What could they be talking about?
Let's not worry about it, I thought, and fell asleep, purring as Wendy sang to her brothers, Peter, and the Boys.
