Marriage Does Not Equal Happily Ever After
I just read this post (https://pin.it/o3c4p3vuvzzydr ), and it made a VERY good point:
Your purpose isn't to get married. That's not where your happily ever after lies.
Your purpose is to serve God! Your happily ever after can't come from something on Earth— it only comes when you're finally at your true Home in Heaven!
The world likes to imply or even straight-up say that you'll only get your happily ever after when you're married. Not everyone is meant to get married, and not everyone stays married. Where do their happily ever after come in?
It isn't fair for yourself or others to expect happily ever afters to be the result of of marriage. It's not even inherently realistic.
Just remember Who gives you your happily ever after, and serve God.
