Taehyung chuckles softly at the comments. He places his phone over the counter as he scoots closer to Seolmi, who is still undecided on what she will eat. He bends down on her level and checks out the fridge along with her.

"Dada, McDonald's please..." Seolmi uses her charm- that is showing her cute dimples and making her eyes go big- and Taehyung can't help but to soften and coo at her. Huffing a sigh, he starts searching for Jimin's car keys inside the living room because he doesn't want to wake the others up.

As he is searching for keys, his phone suddenly rings loud enough for him to hear. He then scurries his way back to the kitchen to answer it without even looking at the caller ID.

"Hello?"

"Taehyung? I was sending you texts but you didn't reply. Can you go out for a bit? I have something for you and Seolmi," Taehyung's world seems to freeze for a matter of time. His heart starts beating frantically, as he clutches his own chest, trying so hard not to palpitate and have a hard time breathing.

He bites his lips and run towards the front door. With a twist, he unlocks it and as he opens it, there stood Jeon Jeongguk, his bunny smile plastered on his face as he carries two paper bags of McDonald's in his arms.

"I was on my way home when you posted the picture and good thing I passed by McDonald's so I thought of buying these for you. I won't stay long though. Eat it well, Tae. Tell Seolmi I dropped by to say Hi," Jeongguk speaks softly before passing the paper bags to Taehyung. The older, with his mouth gaped, absent-mindedly receives the package and mutters a soft 'thank you' as soon as Jeongguk bids him good bye.

He closes the door afterwards and locks it again before biting his lips to hide the growing smile that's threatening to come out of it.

"Dada, you're back?" Seolmi squeals when she sees what Taehyung is holding. She runs to him and clings to his leg, getting Taehyung's attention. Taehyung smiles warmly at her as he reaches to ruffle her hair.

"Let's go eat, shall we?" She then nods her head excitedly; the aroma of the food making her stomach grumble much as before.

Taehyung pulls his phone close to his chest before whispering,

"I shouldn't be feeling this way but fuck you, Jeon."
