Taehyung heaves a sigh when his phone rings. He looks at Jeongguk, who is sleeping peacefully beside him. Good thing they already finished eating their bingsu and the table is now clean.

"Yoongi hyung?"

"Tae, this is Jin."

"H-hyung..." Taehyung whispers, his eyes brimming with tears. He hears a gasp from the other line and some muffled voices which he couldn't tell the owners.

"Taetae... how are you? Did you get hurt? How's Jeongguk?"

"We're alright now, hyung... Jeongguk is currently napping a bit before we go home. We dropped by the hospital awhile ago to get Jeongguk's wounds cleaned up so aside from that, everything's okay now," Taehyung answers as his hands make its way to stroke Jeongguk's fringes.

"What the fuck did Jeongguk do to get wounds?!" He hears Yoongi shout. Jin probably had the phone on loud speaker.

"Uh, punched someone mercilessly?"

"What the fuck? He did that shit?!"

"Yes, hyung, he did."

Taehyung is worried because the hyungs might scold Jeongguk for beating up a stranger, but his thoughts are replaced with confusion when he hears the four shout  gleefully, cheering Jeongguk's name.

"Oh my God I'm so proud of my boy!"

Taehyung rolls his eyes, and ends the call, like the little devil he is. He smiles to himself, and nudges Jeongguk's shoulders gently.

"Gukkie? Let's go home. I bet Seolmi is already waiting for us," Taehyung says softly after Jeongguk had his head up already. The younger smiles, but is instantly replaced with a hiss when he feels the pain on his bottom lip. Taehyung chuckles before pulling him up.

"That's what you get for punching someone."

"All for you, baby," Jeongguk winks. Taehyung can't help but get flustered at the younger's statement.

"Hurry up! Seolmi's waiting!"

Jeongguk smiles and thinks to himself, 'Seolmi isn't the only one waiting for you at home, Tae...'
