Jamie sat in the corner of the work space, letting her tears out. She held them in since Klaus made that comment in the first place and acted like it didn't get to her, but she couldn't hold it in anymore.

"Jamie!" Johnny called from a distance.

She looked up to see him looking for her. When he finally spotted her, his eyes softened and he went to her as she wiped her tears away as much as she could. Finally, Johnny got to her as she just hugged her knees.

"What's wrong, love?" he asked, kneeling down to her level.

"It's nothing," she answered, looking away from him.

"You can't be this upset over nothing. Besides, that's not gonna stop me from being there for you when you need someone whether you admit it or not," Johnny pointed out with a small smile.

Jamie turned to face him and she returned the small smile before sighing and sitting criss-cross applesauce.

"Using my own words at me. Well played," she said, making him chuckle before sitting beside her, then she answered, "That comment I said he mentioned didn't only upset me because of you, even though it's the biggest reason since he keeps insulting you."

"Why else did it upset you?" he asked.

Jamie took a shaky breath then answered, "Because I've been in a terrible accident and if I didn't come out of it, I wouldn't have met you."

Johnny's eyes widened at this.

"What?" he asked.

"After I lost my parents and before the $100,000 competition, I had an accident that almost killed me. I ended up with a broken collar bone, punctured knee joint, broken ankle, and broken and shattered heel. You can't tell from my fur, but I have scars from it. That was even when I was going through a phase of 'Oh if I died no one would care or notice'. But I was proven wrong with Rosita, Norman, and the piglets, and now all of you. I fully healed some time before that competition and didn't let any pain I had show because I didn't want to look weak. And you're the only one I've told outside of Rosita, Norman, and the piglets," Jamie explained, tears returning in her eyes.

"Oh baby," Johnny responded, putting his arms around her.

She cried into his chest as he rubbed her back soothingly, just being there for her. When the others saw this, they were concerned, but Johnny assured them silently that he got this, so they left them. Once she calmed down, they parted a bit to where they could look at each other.

"Jamie, you are anything but weak. After hearing this, it shows me you are way stronger than I thought. You don't need to hide that from anyone because it's a part of who you are. Also, you would have others who would notice you were gone. And if I never met you, my life wouldn't be complete," Johnny said.

Jamie looked up at him to see genuine love and concern in his eyes. She smiled a bit before kissing him, which he returned.

When they parted, they stood up and headed out, him with an arm around her and her cuddling into his chest.

A/N I didn't notice it at first, but the second time I watched it and when I heard Klaus say that, it really did hit a nerve for me because of a car accident I had with those same injuries. It was in a couple other fan fics I have. But I don't let that one thing stop me from watching such an amazing movie.
