21: Thigh grazing

au.n.Idk if the timeline of this chapter may be confusing to anyone, but in case, I'll write what days the different chapters within this chapter are.

Jungkook POV

I opened my eyes, realizing I was back.

Another night, another dream

I was in my room and decided to go out to the kitchen, getting something to eat even though I wasn't hungry.

As I entered the kitchen, I heard a noise from the living room. I turned around and noticed Haru sitting on the couch, watching some show.

I noticed that she was wearing booty shorts and one of my favorite shirts.

I was just about to call for her and tell her to take it off, when I reconsidered it. As it was just a dream and I was her boyfriend in here, I let it slide. She was quite cute in it anyway.

I stood for a while, leaning against the kitchen counter and watching her.

I hated it.

The way she was so effortlessly beautiful, sitting on the white couch, that made her skin look like caramel.

She looks so good

Anything she did made my heart beat faster.

I want to tell her

I wanted her so badly, but I knew that as soon as God would let me, I'd wake up and she wouldn't be mine anymore.

I hated it.

I can't feel this way. She isn't mine to touch.
 Yet I still kissed her

"Why are you just standing there stalker?" She laughed, her sweet voice blessing my ears.

I went over and sat down next to her. I pulled her in for a long hug, knowing that she wasn't gonna be mine when I woke up.

I might as well enjoy her touch while I can...

"Why are you so affectionate? Did I do something good?" She mumbled with her cute voice, cuddling into me.

"Just being you. I'll hold you now, when I have the chance. You'll never know when I can't anymore."

"Damn that's deep Kooks, are you on drugs?" She chuckled, lifting her head to look into my eyes.

She made me laugh and for a moment made me forget ever waking up.

I woke up sweating.

Will the torture ever stop?

Narrator POV - Thursday

Soomin hadn't been to school all week and she was home feeling terrible. Haru was desperate to tell her best friend about everything that had happened since last time they talked. A selfish thought of hers.

A lot had happened this week and it was only Thursday. Haru's father had called her one time. He never called Haru. And she didn't pick up. If they really cared, leave a message or at least try calling again, she thought.

Some cold air had been between Jimin and Haru ever since Jimin and Jin got home from Incheon. Haru had acted different. She didn't really notice her change. Jimin did.

An old saying goes, "When it rains, it pours"

Every time they talked that week, it turned into an argument. They quickly got over the arguments, but the next awaited always. Jimin blamed it on the fact that Haru didn't want to public their relationship.

It was not like he didn't believe her when she told him she was scared of crazy fans and being a public person. He understood that.

It was the way she bit her lips when he asked about their relationship. It was her nervous habit. What did she have to be nervous about?

It was the way her eyes saddened as he mentioned them as a couple.

It was the way that when he got home late night, she acted like she was sleeping. Jimin knew she wasn't. His girlfriend usually slept light, waiting for him to come back home so she could fall asleep tugged into him. She didn't do that anymore.

He even once noticed her waking up in the middle of the night. When he asked her what was wrong, she just told him that she needed some air.

It was all of that, that led Jimin to being more on edge and made him feel like Haru was slipping away from him. Something was going on with her. And he didn't know what. In only a week, their relationship had changed.

Jimin still loved her and he felt like she also still loved him. The way she looked at him with genuine eyes and told him, made him believe it. But also the way she would avoid eye contact afterwards, made him think something was off.

But Jimin didn't want to pry. He bottled up his questions, which led to him sometimes blowing up in front of her. He hated to yell at her, but his frustrations about why he felt like she was distancing herself couldn't be bottled anymore.

That Thursday night they had their second big argument. That night they fell asleep on each side of the bed.

Wedsnesday

On the other side of the story, Haru was facing herself. She felt terrible, looking into the mirror and seeing herself. Pathetic, she thought. Cause ever since Jungkook kissed her, he wouldn't get off her mind.

And it surely didn't help that Haru found it hard to resist him. Jungkook started paying her more attention. Haru started paying him more attention. Whenever they passed each other in the hallway, their hands grazed each other, leaving Haru heavy breathing. And when she entered her boyfriend's room just after, she couldn't look him in the eyes.

Jungkook had picked her up after school the day before Thursday. He brought her shopping. He remembered that she had told him she would stay at their house for a little longer. He noticed how she usually wore the same clothes at home. Haru didn't say no to the impulsive shopping.

She wondered why he would bring her. Why he was suddenly kind of thoughtful. Suddenly paying her attention, when actually she didn't want his attention. Or so she told herself, cause she went with him anyways.

The day had went by quick. Time flies when you're having fun they say. It was late evening when they got home. Jimin was still not home from work and didn't notice how Haru and Jungkook entered the house, smiling at each other. Unlike for the pair.

However, Hoseok noticed. He noticed how Jungkook earlier that day was weirdly tapping his fingers on the counter as he scrolled through instagram, checking the time every few seconds. As if he was waiting for something. He suddenly in a rush, grabbed his jacket and left the house.

"Bye Hyung." Was all he had said, with a smile on his face.

Then he was gone for almost 5 hours. And came home with Haru. Hoseok wanted to mind his own business. They can be friends, Haru had said. Hoseok chose to believe her, but still kept an eye on them.

That night as Jimin got home, Haru once again pretended she was asleep. Usually she was sleeping when Jimin got home, but woke up just to kiss him goodnight. But she knew that she couldn't look into his eyes that night. Not after the all the fun she had with Jungkook that day.

Jungkook was actually a lot cuter than he wanted to admit. The small things he did, oblivious that he was acting different, warmed Haru's heart. When Jungkook noticed her smile after he did something, he either scoffed or defended himself.

He was tough. Not soft. Not soft at all.

Friday

Friday evening the whole household got together. They hadn't spent time all together all week, due to busy schedules. Yoongi was leaving the next day to visit his hometown for his birthday. They had gathered at a restaurant, celebrating Yoongi's birthday early.

Haru was exhausted from a long school day with a long detention once again, but she kept her mood up for Yoongi's sake. And that was absolutely easy to do as she was surrounded by some her best friends.

The girl quickly went to sit at the table as they got there. Jimin seated next to her, grabbing her hand to show his affection. They hadn't talked since their big argument the day before. It worried Haru. They usually made up just after a argument, but yesterday they didn't.

Haru didn't get why Jimin was so upset that she didn't want to publicize their relationship. But also she didn't know what was going through Jimin's head.

The girl smiled when she met Hoseok's eyes. She nodded him over to sit next to her, but he perked his eyebrow at the ebony haired younger boy, whose hand was already placed on the back of the chair next to her.

She stared as Jungkook sat down next to her, totally astonished by his looks. She couldn't help it. His vertically striped dress shirt made him look taller and his fluffy dark hair without gel made him look even more handsome. If that was even possible.

He smirked, "Close your mouth baby." He whispered in the girl's ear as he sat down. She was still taken aback by his looks.

She quickly shook her head, denying to herself that she was just drooling over him. She tried, but failed to ignore the butterflies in her stomach as called her baby. She wanted to hate that nickname so badly, but when it came from his mouth, she couldn't.

They all ordered their food and short after, it arrived. It wasn't the best restaurant in Seoul for nothing.

Every now and then during the dinner, she felt Jimin's gaze on her. He clearly wanted to say something, but it wasn't the right setting to. She also felt awkward that they hadn't made up yet.

She once turned her head to smile at him, assuring him that she was also sorry and wasn't angry anymore. Jimin had smiled and leaned in, placing an affectionate kiss on her cheek, which was unusual.

"Jimin! Not here." Haru said, wiping her cheek but with a smile.

She felt some eyes on them. They didn't usually do affectionate stuff such as kissing in front of their friends, Haru didn't want to make others uncomfortable.

What she didn't know, was that Jimin noticed Jungkook's gaze on his girlfriend the entire dinner and was marking his territory. He didn't feel threatened by Jungkook. He knew his girl was his. The silver haired man just didn't like the way Jungkook's eyes glided over her body.

Jimin smiled, "Okay Princess."

Just as the words left his mouth he placed another kiss on her cheek. She felt her cheeks heat up by their friends in front of them looking.

The oblivious girl though, wasn't really worried about making other's uncomfortable this time. Or at least not all.

Out of the corner of her eye, she glanced at Jungkook. She let her shoulders down in relief as she thought he wasn't paying attention and probably hadn't noticed. It would've made her uncomfortable if he saw.

Although, suddenly the girl felt a hand from the left, slipping up her white tennis skirt, grazing her inner thigh. From the left... Jungkook was on the left.

The whole area tingled. Her eyes fluttered. Everyone else around her chattered, being loud and not noticing Haru's gasp.

Weirdly enough, she didn't move.

His fingers were slightly wet, from the cold coke he had been holding before. The cold and wet feeling made her shiver.

"Haru are you okay?" Taehyung suddenly spoke from across her.

She sat straight up, Jungkook's hand still remaining on her inner thigh under the tablecloth.

Jimin gazed at the girl as well, making her gulp.

"Y-yeah." The girl pushed out. It was hard to make the words exit her mouth.

Taehyung raised an eyebrow, giving her a 'I don't believe you' expression, "You haven't said much?"

"I'm fine really." She said after taking a deep breath.

Jungkook, which hand still were on the beautiful young girl's thigh, smirked and pressed harder onto her skin.

I'm gonna kill him

She thought, as she used all her strength to not let out another gasp.

But the older man kept working his hand further up, making it hard for the poor girl to remain quiet. The amount of sensation she was feeling was unbearable. Especially when her friends was around her, and right next to her, her boyfriend.

currently regretting not starting this book as a third person narrator 🥲

I hope you didn't get too confused about the timeline?

Also this was how I imagined Jungkook to look like during the dinner:
