A week has passed, and things have been changing between James and Amanda, They constantly have been arguing and are more distant from each other. James and Amanda haven't been speaking to each other as they used to.

Lucia and James have also been talking to each other and were getting to know each other, and They were starting to become good friends.

Meanwhile, the police department was shown as someone was sitting in the chair while smiling and talking to someone on the phone.

It was Benjamin, He was talking to his wife Caity on the phone.

Caity: I really want to see you again, Benjamin.

Benjamin: Don't worry, Caity. I'll make sure to visit you tonight or later. I miss you as well.

Caity: It's okay, Benjamin. Please take care of yourself, love.

Benjamin: You too, Honey. Don't worry about it, Just peacefully have your dinner, okay?

Caity giggled as Benjamin had a smile on his face as They both said goodbye to each other before Mcfarland hung up the call and fixed his hair while smiling at himself.

???: Wake up, Daydreamer.

This is Chris Hemsworth, He is twenty-nine years old and is a detective, He's been working with Benjamin for many years and helped him with his cases

Benjamin: I was not daydreaming, Chris.

Chris: *Laughs* Admit it or not, You definitely were.

Benjamin just rolled his eyes and smiled as Chris sat on the desk as Mcfarland was looking at him.

Benjamin: Don't break this desk now.

Chris: Hahaha, I won't, Don't worry. Anyways, how is Caity doing?

Benjamin: She's fine, actually, Me and her were talking about how our day was going so far.

Chris: I see, She really misses you, right?

Benjamin: She does, and I miss her as well. But work is always pulling me back.

Chris: I understand, You should take a break, Benji.

Benjamin: I might think about it.

Chris: You really should, I can handle the work for you.

???: Don't forget about me as well.

Her name is Becky Lynch, She is twenty-nine years old and is a detective who has also been working with Benjamin and Chris for many years.

Benjamin: How long have you been standing there, Becks?

Becky: For some time, actually, haha.

Chris: *Chuckles* But yeah, Me and Becky can handle your work.

Benjamin: I know, but some things are important that I need to be there to solve it with both of you.

Becky: It's okay, Benjamin. You done so much for everyone.

Benjamin smiled at Becky as they both smiled at their partner. Soon, the trio began talking to each other as they were also looking through some active case files.

Meanwhile, James was seen in his house as the time was eight forty p.m. He was using his phone but was still a bit upset over what was happening.

He closed his phone and began holding his head, Amanda was in the other room and was avoiding looking or even speaking to James.

Although James was starting to overthink if he was doing something wrong, which is why they have been arguing more, James was starting to not like Amanda's attitude now.

He took a deep breath until he got a message on his phone, and it was from Lucia.

Lucia: Hey James! I haven't seen you in a while.

James looked at her message and decided to respond to her, He had no one else to speak to except Lucia.

James: I'm fine, Lucia. Just been occupied with stuff.

Lucia: Oh, I see, How is everything going?

James: Good.

Meanwhile, Lucia was at her house messaging James, She noticed his dry response to her and had a hunch that something was going on with James. He sounded very upset from the message.

Lucia: Are you sure, James? You can talk to me.

James: It's nothing, Lucia. I'm fine :)

Lucia couldn't help but smile, She was thinking about asking him for dinner tonight.

Lucia: Hey, would you like to go out for dinner tonight?

James looked at the message and was surprised, though he actually felt like he wanted to hang out with her. James had a small smile on her face as he replied saying "Sure."

Lucia saw the message and had a huge smile on her face as she was already excited and went to get changed.

Sometime later, Lucia was waiting outside of her house as she fixed her hair and outfit.

She was holding her purse and continued looking around until she saw James walking towards her with a smile on his face.

James: Hey Lucia! And wow, you look very nice.

Lucia: *Giggles* Thanks, James.

James: Actually, I don't think "very nice" is correct to say. . . You look beautiful.

Lucia couldn't help but smile and blush as she began admiring the outfit James was wearing.

Lucia: You look great yourself, James.

James: *Chuckles* Thanks.

( So, Amanda gets to live in the same house with this handsome man?. . . I'm kind of jealous of her)

Lucia was staring at James and narrowed her eyes, thinking about how Amanda got to be with James.

James: Shall we get going? We can go in my car.

Lucia: Sure!

James smiled at her and told her to follow him as Lucia was looking at James before she followed him to the car.

Soon, fifteen minutes passed, and they made it to the restaurant, They both took their seats while smiling at each other as they were also looking at the menu

James: This restaurant looks amazing.

Lucia: It really does, What do you want to order?

James: *Smiles* Anything that you like.

( Such a gentleman. . . )

Lucia: Maybe we can order lasagna?

James: Oooh, sounds great.

Turner called the waiter and ordered two lasagna as Lucia and James were talking to each other.

Both of them continued talking to each other while cracking jokes and told some funny stories, Lucia also noticed how James's mood was lightened as Lucia couldn't help but smile at him.

Their food arrived as both of them were eating the lasagna as James said something.

James: The food is delicious

Lucia: You're right, I can also cook lasagna, actually.

James: Oh really?

Lucia: *Smiles* One day, I would like to cook and serve it to you.

James: That would be amazing, actually.

Lucia smiled at him as they continued eating while talking to each other, Sometime later, James received a message on his phone as he saw who it was.

Amanda: You seriously left without me knowing? Where are you?

James was annoyed and closed his phone as Lucia noticed how annoyed he looked and spoke to him.

Lucia: What's the matter, James? You looked annoyed.

James was silent and looked at her as he cleared his throat and spoke.

James: It's not really a big deal, but me and Amanda haven't been the same anymore.

Lucia: What do you mean?

James: Constant arguments, especially about small things.

Lucia clutched her fist as James sighed and continued speaking.

James: I'm afraid that I'm doing something wrong.

Lucia was looking at him before she began caressing his hand to comfort him as James was looking at her.

Lucia: Don't blame yourself, James.

James had some sort of feeling when Lucia touched his hand as James was looking at her and couldn't help but smile.

James: I appreciate your concern, Lucia.

Lucia: *Smiles* I'm your friend, James. I'm there for you.

James: *Chuckles* I'm lucky to have a friend like you.

Lucia bit her lip and began staring at him as She fixed her hair and continued smiling at him, James had a smile on his face as Lucia began having thoughts about James.

Very romantic thoughts about him.
