*beep* *beep* *beep* sounded Jimmy's alarm, signalling the start of a new day and another attempt at getting out of school. Which always failed and today was no exception. He rolled out of bed and fell on the floor. he groaned as he felt all his body heat seep into the ground beneath him.

He sleepily walked to the lounge room and was met by his dusty-pink haired sister Lizzie. " morning Lizzie" he said, slurring his words slightly."good morning Jim" his older sister said with a sweet smile as she waited for the kettle to boil. Jimmy slumped into a chair around the kitchen island.  Thinking of all the teachers he was going to piss off today.

He waited for a couple of minutes until he properly woke up and made some crumpets and tea. As he ate he scrolled through TikTok, trying to avoid getting dressed and going to school.

Eventually though he had finished his breakfast, got dressed and was now waiting for Lizzie to finish getting ready so they could leave 'we'll be late for the bus soon' jimmy thought as he stood by his doorway, anxious for the day ahead.
