January 2nd

Dear Taylor,

Happy New Year! And now that it's January, I get to say: "See you next month"! That is super exciting!

My school's break began on the 23rd, and we go back tomorrow. The vacation usually goes by so fast, but this one went by slower than anyone before. I know why, too. It's because I didn't have my best friend to have sleepovers with almost every night, and spend time with all through the day. And that was the last vacation before High School! Can you believe it?! Next year we're going to be in 9th grade.

Yes, I still sit with the artsy girls, but now Marisa (remember her? The blonde who was always drawing Henna on people's hands.) left the table to sit with the popular girls. They were all making a huge stink about it and now they call her "traitor" whenever they talk about her. I really could care less, so I just stay out of it.

I went to the tree, but it was nothing like when I go with you. I put my photo in front of it at the bottom.

How was your Christmas?! Mine was good. What was your favorite gift? I got this awesome new bike that I can't wait to use! When the snow melts, I mean.
