The weak sun entered the room waking up Alina before the alarm, she turned it off and head it to the bathroom she took a quick shower and dressed in some snowy clothes.

She took the elevator and headed to the dining room of the hotel to eat breakfast she picked up her tray and wandered around to see the food. There was a lady serving people already that greeted Alina "Hello dear!"

"Hi good morning"

"You seem tired! You want some coffee?"

"No thanks I'm still looking"

"We have a lot of yogurts if you'd like"

"Oh thanks-"

"She doesn't like yogurts but she'll have a latte" A manly voice said behind her

"Good morning to you too" Alina said in her sleepy voice

"Morning" he said he took the warm milk and some cereal then a orange and also a pancake with a syringe of honey on top. Alina stood by the latte they sat down near a window to eat breakfast

"A peaceful breakfast with the person who hates my guts what a lovely way to start the day" Colten said looking outside, the view was amazing the white snow looked like a big soft cloud, the sky was blue with some clouds that covered the bright sun.

"Don't start it's 9 in the morning" Alina said

"You're just drinking latte?" He asked she only nodded

"I'm not hungry"

"You are going snowboarding you need food" he said putting the pancake on her tray

She looked at him but he didn't dare to take a look at her he was eating with his eyes on the beautiful view outside. She noticed the string of honey and thought that the pancake was taken in the first place for her yet she didn't asked, she stood silent and ate.

After their peaceful breakfast they went to get their equipment and got in the chairlift so they would be on top of the mountain.

The chairlift ride was about 15 minutes giving them time bought o talk although they weren't the most talkative persons right now.

"Last night I spoke with T" Colten brought up

"Good and?" Alina said looking at mountains covered in snow

"he is going to take a step and talk with her... thanks to me... thought you should know"

"Wow you're feeling proud about that aren't you?"

"Hum yes! If you haven't noticed they'll probably be a couple thanks to me"

"Oh congrats to you Cupid but I also helped because Sophia. She wants to talk with him because of me"

"I doubt it" he smiled and took his phone out

They got to the top of the mountain and got ready

"I'm actually speaking the truth" Alina said putting her glasses on. He smiled at her and discreetly took a photo of her with his phone.

"Hey!" She screamed at him.

"Do your job photo girl" he said smirking she rolled his eyes at him and grabbed his phone once the phone was in her hands he slide down the mountain and she followed him but slower than him

Although out loud they would hate to admit they were actually having a great time. They were having fun in the snow and sure a lot of pictures were taken.

"Hey let's stop here for a second" Colten stated, Alina nodded and watched him from afar looking at the clouds. It was a beautiful view up there it looked like you could touch the clouds and Alina saw how in love with the sight Colten was, he sat down in the snow looking at it.

She took the chance to take a picture of him and then admired the clouds in front of her, she looked at it for a good while but her eyes got stuck in his figure. She was thinking about everything and nothing at the same time, mostly she was thinking about him and then to New Years night came to her mind.

Why did that happened? And how did it happened and how could they not talk about it and just ignore. She wanted to know what did that meant for him, was it just another kiss from another girl or...

Her thoughts were interrupted by Colten " Ready to go Jones?" she nodded

"Give me the phone now it's quite dangerous this a steep descent" Colten advised, she handed him the phone and they slide down the mountain

Once down there near the chalet they started taking their equipment. " I think that's all. Do you need help?" Colten asked

"No I'm fine"

"Ok well I have my phone... I need to go because of my girlfriend." he said

"Wow... because of my girlfriend" she whispered to herself  emphasizing the last word

"What?" He asked

"nothing is just weird hearing you say that"

"Saying what?!"

"Girlfriend"

"Well but that's what she is"

"I know...but it's weird"

"Why?"

"I have never imagined you saying it out loud or-"

"You never imagined me actually having someone to say that to" he fired back

"Well Things change don't they" he said making her travel to the past

" wow you've really been out there all over the place uh?"

"No" he laughed " just to Spain and London"

"And Italy on the summer" she remarked

"Ah yes"

"Well it's great to see you again. Seems like it's been way too long"

"It has"

"I've missed you" she smiled, he gave a weak smile

"Me too. Though a lot had changed"

"Hm yeah. Has been five years since we last saw each other" she said with her feet touching the sand

"Yeah. I go away and come back and five years later you have a new bestfriend... well more than one and whatever that boy is" he said putting his feet's in the cold water

"That boy is Jake"

"Ok. Well ... you have a Jake?!"

"Yes" she laughed "and he is my boyfriend"

"Wow... your boyfriend"

"Yup"

"It's weird hearing you said that"

"Why?"

"Well, you have a boyfriend and it's Jake"

"What do you mean? Did you think that I was going to be alone forever? No friends, no boyfriend"

"I'm just saying you could've wait..." he whispered "wait for me"

"It was hard once you went away... you were literally my everything. My only friend. The one person who understood me better than anyone yet you went away I had to move on and live" the 14 year old Alina said looking at the sun, who was almost reaching the edge of the ocean

"Yeah and I get over here and I'm already replaced"

"Well things change! Everything did once you went away and I to adjust myself into it"

"I can see that"

"What are you so mad about?!"

"I'm not mad!Just sad, you promise"

"Oh please, we were nine and don't lecture me! Tell me you haven't had another best friend? Probably a girl also... your mother did say you were quite an interest between girls" she said in her grumpy voice

"Oh do you think I'm those guys?Seriously? Is that what you think about me now? After five years we are total strangers?! Amazing" he said walking away she followed him "You know what maybe I am those kind of guys...only in it for the girls... yes" he said in a disgusted but also angry tone

"I don't care about that... what are you talking about? "

"You should start to care...I'm a different person. Different Colten"

"Well.. you know things change!"

"I'm not ready to face him at the party guys "

"Oh please Sophia since when did you become such a terrified bitch" Gabe rolled his eyes

"Yes but she's not the only one acting weird" Zoey pointed it out looking at Alina, she was now preparing herself for the party but she's was not participating in the conversation or anything in general she seemed to be in her world, there physically but not mentally.

"Yes, definitely not the only one" Gabe agreed

"Look, Soph, I know the suposse talk didn't happen as good as you think it would-" Zoey said

"It literally don't happened, he just stood there smiling at me like a weirdo"

"Well...now you have your shot at the party! Spend it well! Get some alcohol in first maybe it will help" Zoey finished

"Yes! Alcohol ALWAYS helps!" Gabe cheered

"Yes! Alcohol! Ok let's hurry up I feel like my boobs can't stay much longer in here" Sophia commented

"Yup they look like they're going to jump out any second now " Gabe agreed

"Still I look good right?!" she asked and all her friends nodded

"Ok everyone good to go?" Zoey asked. Gabe was already near the door ready to have a good time while Sophia was more than nervous putting an exaggerated amount of perfume on her while Alina was putting her collar on when Gabe made a question "You're not going like that right?"

"What?" she asked innocently

"Exactly make something different! It's way too boring for a party! Oh I know tie it!" Gabe said coming closer and grabbing in her shirt making some improvements "There"

"Wow it's really better now" Zoey said "Thank God I have a jumpsuit"

They got near to the suite door which was the door were they were having the party normally the rich kids would buy these rooms to give big parties.

"Ok girls! Breathe let's have fun and you" Gabe looked at Sophia "talk with your boy. Ok let's go" he knocked on the door

The door opened showing the big suite and the people already having fun some way too much "Come in guys" Derek said, one of Colten and Travis pals also a football player

"This is huge!"Gabe squealed, they greeted the few people they knew and walked to the kitchen were the drinks were

"Want do you want?" Gabe asked delivering some red cups

"Some coke with vodka" Alina said grabbing the coke out of the fridge

"Something strong! A shot! Give me shots" Sophia said nervous

"Ok I'll make you a shot but then you go talk to your guy still sober " Gabe said pointing at Travis, that was in the other side of the room near the sofa talking with the football team

"Double shot of tequila for us!!" Gabe cheered feeling the cups

"I'll go get the lemons" Zoey said

"I'll look for the salt" Alina told them. Once the shots were ready they made a toast to Sophia. She left walking towards Travis, leaving their friends hoping for the best between the two .

"Ok now let's have fun!" Zoey cheered

"I know" he said walking through the hallway. Alina followed him till he stopped in front of a door. When she looked at it she realised it was her door.

"Can you lecture me inside?!" He asked, she opened the door and saw him walking straight to the bathroom

"What are you doing?" She asked sitting down in her bed and taking off her shoes.

"Waw-shiw-ing my teeth" he said with his mouth full of toothpaste

"With what toothpaste?" She asked scared

"Mine" he said coming off of the bathroom with his brush in hand his coat over his shoulder. Alina noticed how he was dressed, it's incredible how sometimes he can pull of a really good look with suck low work "I got these when I went to the other room were Sophia and Travis were"

"Yes" he said "so which one is yours?" he asked mentioning the beds

"This one" she said taping in the bed

"Great" he throwed himself to the bed and the covered himself with sheets

She quickly stood up "what are you doing?!"

"Sleeping"

"In my bed!" She screamed

"In case you haven't noticed my room is being used for other people and please don't yell"

"My girlfriend is still at the party and so are my friends"

"Are you for real?" she asked, he only nodded and got more cozy in the bed

"Well Sophia is definitely not sleeping here so... Or if your afraid you can sleep here the bed is big" he teased, his eyes were closed but he was still awake she analyzed him as she sat down in Sophia's bed which was next to hers

"No thanks! I'm not afraid"

"Not even of the boogie man?!" he tease her again.

"No, go to sleep"

"Fine" he laughed slightly and tried to get some sleep. Meanwhile Alina was laid down looking at the ceiling remember her child years when the world was perfect and the only things she was afraid of was the boogie man.
